“Quality has gone down unfortunately. Potato Galette are still delicious. Bathroom has a terrible smell now. Croissants use to be flaky and crunchy. Now very soft and and not so flaky. I can definitely see they have made budget cuts, but the price is still so high for a family. Service was quick and friendly“

“This was probably our favorite dining experience in New Orleans, which is saying something! We ate here our first evening in the city and it was a great way to kick off our vacation. This truly is a next-level dining experience, not just a meal. The restaurant is in a small historic house near the Garden District and it’s a lovely quaint atmosphere. My husband and I opted for the communal seating experience and we had great conversations with our fellow diners. Each course was presented well, with a description from our waitstaff, and while it is 7 courses, it isn’t too much food at all. Cocktails are quite good too (we skipped the wine pairing). Definitely not an everyday dinner, but 100% worth the splurge!“

“Food was good. I got the sampler platter and that was plenty (for me). The ensalada (salad) dressing was a little on the spicy side which was not described on the menu so I wasn’t expecting that so I ended up not eating it. Wait staff was very attentive. Drinks were good. Great place to go if you need gluten free food and like Colombian food. If you don’t need gluten free-you wouldn’t even know it. :)

“This review is for the two separate times i’ve been to Russell’s Marina Grill. Service: The customer service is amazing. I had different waitresses each time and both of them were so kind and welcoming. They made great suggestions and made me feel like they wanted me to have the best meal of my life. They also took time to get to know me by asking about where i’m from, what I do, etc. I felt extremely at home and would come here for the service alone. Food: The food is amazing, it’s almost unbelievable that this place exists. I ordered the Ruby’s Special and Eggs Benedict the first time; ordered the Eggs Benedict the second time. Both times, the Eggs Benedict did NOT disappoint. The eggs were cooked perfectly with an english muffin that had the ideal crispyness to it. The Ruby’s Special is a burger with fries and a cherry vanilla shake. I asked for the burger to be as rare as possible; most places will cook it medium rare. However, they cooked my burger to the most perfect level of being as rare as possible. I was extremely impressed and will definitely be coming back anytime i’m in Nola.“

“In town for a wedding, tasked to bring fun things for an informal wedding prep event the day before. I’m admittedly a bakery snob, that annoying person that insists the Americans put too much sugar in everything, especially baked goods (yes, the irony is I am also American).

After light research, swung by Levee. Was a tiny bit suspicious because most of the pastries were the size of a small child’s head. Grabbed several classics (pain au chocolate, croissants) and made a last minute call to snag two of their jamon y beurre baguette sandwiches.

Omg. Those sandwiches. Overall everything was a hit but that sandwich…the perfect ratio of salty ham to soft Brie cheese, the acidic bite cornichons, the crusty baguette. Delivered by a lovely woman who gently sang my order (which didn’t know I needed in my life).

I went back every day of the wedding weekend. And just finished the final sandwich at the airport.

“I had an event for 50 High School students catered by Felipes and it was perfect. I ordered the Taco Bar and they hit a homerun. There was plenty of food - it arrived on time and still hot. The delivery person helped me get the food inside which I appreciated. Everything that we ordered was there and there was enough food for some leftovers. The students all raved about how great the food was and how excited they were about the cheese dip and chicken tacos. The ordering process on the front end was easy - and the employee Samantha was able to help me adjust the order the day of the event. Outstanding service! A+ FOR FELIPES!“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

After reading over the menu option — there is a wide variety of sweet & savory items — we settled on a dark chocolate milk shake and crème brûlée crepe with strawberries. Absolutely amazing! We did not expect it to be as delicious as it was and now we can’t wait to come back for another sweet crepe. Definitely recommend giving this a try if you haven’t already.“

“I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.“

“A charming little gem of a place with lots of history, Casamento's is a true old-school Louisiana seafood joint. We visited on opening day at the start of oyster season, and I couldn't have been happier with my meal. I had oysters 3 ways - raw, chargrilled, and fried, and everything was very fresh and tasty. The two daughters that are servers are super sweet, and very understanding of celiac disease/ the need to eat GF. Dedicated fryer is a big plus.

“WOW!!!!!!!! Today I had Nothing But Bundt Cakes deliver a beautiful red velvet Bundt cake and an assortment of mini Bundt cupcakes to my daughter who is attending a conference in New Orleans. I could never imagined that I would have such an extraordinary experience like this from a business establishment outside of my own neighborhood!L Lorraine Lanzilotta is such an amazing person to deal with. Her kindness, professionalism, helpfulness and beyond outstanding customer service offered gave me chills! This employee treated me as if we had been friends for many years! She made the entire process so much fun and personalized my order knowing how much the recipient (my daughter) would just LOVE her baked goods. Lorraine’s interpersonal skills and attention to detail are like no one else’s . I sent the most creative and charming cake and cupcakes to Nikki for a special celebration…and not only did she ensure it was artistically designed and personalized to perfection, but she also wrapped it in cellophane and attached a gorgeous notecard. My girl received it less than an hour from when I placed the order and was blown away by the presentation. Nothing But Bundt Cakes earned my business today and certainly deserves to earn yours. FUN FACT:Coming in March this franchise will be opening up in my neighborhood. ANOTHER FUN FACT:Lorraine Lanzilotta is as sweet as the cakes that she sells at the bakery; MAKE SOMEONE’S DAY AND HAVE ONE DELIVERED TODAY!“
