Exceptional customer service. 1pm on Thursday, driving down St. Charles passing the time until I needed to be some place, passed this little gem and decided to pop in. I was immediately greeted and sat by Mr. Otis. Promptly bringing water. Mr. Georgio informed me of the availability of fresh softshells, and took my order. Sitting by the window watching the beautiful streetcars going up and down St. Charles. There was a few people in the restaurant but it was a whole vibe. Meal was fantastic. I watch a sweet older couple ask Mr. Georgio about the street car, he walked the couple across the street and give instructions on what to do. Absolutely suggest taking the time to visit. Two guests, appetizer, 2 lunch specials, water and tea bill was in the mid $60s without tip.“

“I normally get half a muffaletta cut in quarters and save it for the flight back home the next day. They are incredible and I will keep doing this as long as I keep coming to New Orleans.
The place is small and it can get pretty loud, if you have someone with sense hearing (like me), remind them to bring earplugs.

“THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!!!! Living most of my life in the Philly/South Jersey area I say from experience this place would absolutely stand up to Northeast pizza. What was even better than the food were the people who owned/ran it. We didn’t realize they closed at 2 for lunch but they never made us feel uncomfortable at all. They were absolutely fantastic from the second we walked in to the moment we left. I felt like I was back home for lunch today. This is by far the best pizza we have found in the south. “Enjoyed dinner with my partner this evening, 11/24. Our server Alice was exceptional. She was attentive, checking on us often, quick, efficient, etc.
Towards the end of my visit, a couple was seated next to us at another booth, giving me a front row experience to the ridiculous behavior that occurred for the entire duration I remained there (no more than 15 minutes).
From an insult about Alice using the handheld device provided by Olive Garden, to trying to explain how to “properly” pour a beer, these guests were dreadful. There were multiple comments from the gentleman that would’ve easily not been tolerated at other establishments. Luckily for the guests, they had a server who was calm, cool, and collected even under the circumstances.
You’re at Olive Garden, not a Michelin Star restaurant. Check your expectations, and treat others with respect.
I hope that the Management prioritizes the experience of their employees, and backs them up when they deal with this type of unnecessary behavior.
