“Ba Chi has the best Vietnamese food in New Orleans at incredibly reasonable prices. The Bao tacos (bacos) are innovative and delicious. The pho broth is the best rice had outside of Vietnam. The menu is huge and has something for everyone.“

“We ordered take out.
Great portions.
The chicken pho , tasty but not my absolute favorite pho it lacked a little savory taste for a chicken pho.
The tofu lemongrass w rice was excellent. Totally Shareable. The little side salad they add is really tasty too
The shrimp spring rolls were fresh and very stuffed.
The shrimp buns also delicious even if they had a bit too much of that mayo sauce.
Overall a winner and will return to dine in.“

“Absolutely delicious. We came in on a weekend and it was less crowded than expected. Service was incredibly prompt and friendly. Food was phenomenal. The vermicelli, pork stir fry, and spring rolls were all delicious. Portions are very generous. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.“

“A great little spot attached to the Hotel Saint Vincent. I had the dan dan noodles with curry, which were soupier than I expected but still very delicious. Fair warning: they’re spicy, so proceed with caution! My partner got the pork and egg banh mi sandwich, which was also excellent. My only gripe is the limited indoor seating—just a counter—and the weather was too cold to sit outside. Still, it’s a fantastic choice for breakfast or lunch, and the area is super charming.
Vegetarian options: You can order some of the dishes without meat. There is also a vegan pho option.“

“Very nice restaurant, the Pho was good but not excellent. The soup was just ok, but the meat/ round was good. I have tasted better Pho than this restaurant. The size of the bowl was ok, not as large as other pho restaurants. The price of the soup was on the higher side because of the location. Overall experience was good. Thank you for the super attentive waiter. She noticed I needed a fork and immediately brought it to me.“

“my girlfriend and i always order the chicken Pho [we order the same thing every week, unfortunately dong have pics of it becasue i just have to stuff my face] but yesterday i went pick up our food and before picking up i called. i placed my order and it was funny because she called me marie instead of my govn’t name. when i got there, the owner and i laughed because of the mixed names. got on the subject of her liking my tattoo and she started telling me how her tattoo on her back is for her son Michael. my heart shattered and i honestly had tears in my eyes because the way she spoke so beautiful about how this was his dream and she wanted to do this for him was truly beautiful. we got on another subject of why i LOVE this restaurant so much!! yall, they make this broth sun up to sun down so it’s fresh for you! i can have dreams about this pho because of how yummy it is!! everyone needs to go try it! the people who work there are very sweet! great atmosphere!“

“AMAZING PHO!!!! Even though I’ve moved away from New Orleans, I always make it a point to come back and visit this place. I always order the tofu pho with beef broth and load it up with chili oil. Over the past five years, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been here. Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to find anything like it in any other state I’ve visited... :( HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“Best Vietnamese food in Metairie area! Simple, fresh, and great! I’ve been coming here for the last 8-9 years! Always find the same great food, great jasmine tea! The only thing I hate is their door, we can never get “Pull and Push” thing right! ? You should try their soft buns and their Vermicelli’s! It’s the best in town!“

“Great experience as usual. The Pho soups never disappoints, however my husband was not a fan of the Birds Nest dish. Completely new flavors for both of us, he says it tasted like uncooked maruchan with taste meat variety and sauce. Was not my favorite, but I liked it :)
Parking: The parking area is for all the business in the plaza, in full days the parking area may be somewhat full because of it.“
“Oct. 4, 2024. I'm a Vietnamese seasoned home cook who typically doesn't eat food that I can cook so much better at home. This is just a bar at the food court inside Caesar's casino. They open only on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 7pm - 1am. They serve just 4 dishes that you can take 2 go or eat there. Pho ($16), BBH ($16), banh mi cha lua & pate($10), and banh mi thit nuong ($13.) Good prices considered they are inside the casino.
Pho & BBH are served in a plastic bowl & a good heaping of bean sprout & basil (must have for pho & BBH.) This is forgivable because the taste is on point & is so much better than other Vietnamese restaurants around town. Banh mi is really good with nice pate paste. We both enjoyed our foods very much. Wished they would open earlier to serve lunch & dinner.“

“This place is really cute, it’s kind of small, but I highly recommend it. We had the pork belly, steam buns and chicken steam buns, as well as and shrimp and avocado spring rolls. We also had the crab wontons. We ended up not ordering anymore because it was so much food, but I highly recommend it. My husband loved that bread sauce, that was in a cup on the table. Service was impeccable. They were very attentive to our needs.“

“Ate here for the first time today. And I must say, their pho is amazing. I had shrimp pho and their broth is the best I’ve had. Not too much cinnamon or anise flavor. Which a lot of places do. My daughter had the pork chop platter and it was also very good. Atmosphere is great, very clean environment and our waitress with the nose ring was very fun and polite. Definitely recommend this place.“

“Pho Sunrise offers a truly authentic menu. I have lived in Saigon and enjoyed Vietnamese Cuisine in many places. Pho Sunrise brings back wonderful memories like hopping on the motor bike with my wife and stopping for a delicious bowl of Pho while on the way to the market in Saigon. The family who owns and operates this restaurant is customer service oriented and very friendly. I am from Biloxi and working in Kenner for a few weeks. I will definitely return to Pho Sunrise whenever I am in the area. I recommend Pho Sunrise without hesitation. Bác Sammy Tăng-Arrington“

“I had the tenderloin and oxtail pho and if it wasn’t for the slow service I would have given this restaurant 5 stars. The broth was full of flavor and the meat was fresh and very good quality. The ox tail was melting off the bone. The restaurant was very clean and staff was very nice just very laid back. It is a little pricey however the quality is well worth it.“

“So I thought I wanted a PoBoy… this is my second time in New Orleans and felt obligated to get the local sandwich staple. However this little HOLE IN THE WALL spot came highly recommended. When I walked in I was overwhelmed and the cashier helped me pick the perfect order. I decided to pivot and do a Banh Mi, and I got the Bugolgi Banh mi and it was incredible! Let’s face it a banh mi and a PoBoy are essentially the same thing. Let’s start with the spring rolls, paired with a nice peanut sauce. The sandwich itself was so flavorful and just the right amount of food. It’s pretty much outside seating only if you want to eat there so just know that going in.“

“Loved their po-boys. They got a tiny ghetto white girl (I mean that in a good way) over there who was cool as all to be damned when I had to ask her what's all in my sandwich because I've never had Vietnamese/Cajun hybrid food. Think her name was Theresa.Anyway, whenever I'm in the area this is my go too place.“

“This family owned restaurant just reopened their inside dining (summer 2024) after being take out/catering only for several years. We have been regulars since we moved here 3 years ago. The pho is our favorite- so flavorful! I also love the vermicelli noodle bowls and the hubs likes the orange chicken and general tso. This is our GO TO for tasty, affordable Asian food! And the portions are HUGE! I’ll try to add pics on a future visit, usually too hungry to remember!
Parking: This is a historic building in the French Quarter. It is typically difficult to find parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a historic building in the French Quarter. Not wheel chair friendly unfortunately.“
“Seriously had no idea what to expect with this Yakamein but every expectation I had was blown out of the water. My first sip of the broth was full of flavorful explosion. I can’t recommend enough. If I lived in New Orleans I would make a trip to get this soup once a week. Absolutely delicious.“

“10/4/24. Cozy little place. Not open like typical Asian restaurants. Hubby ordered #L13 Shrimp Hot Garlic sauce and one Vietnamese coffee. I ordered #N11 Grill over pressed Vermicelli with Nem. Hubby said his dish is alright, just not as good as other places he had before. Mine came out in a humongous serving platter with rice paper to make wraps that is enough for 2. However, they gave me grilled pork instead of grilled nem. Instead of leaving the plate and just grilling me some nem, they took the platter back and said it would be awhile for the grilled nem. Anyway, the platter came out not too long after, and it was delish. I could only eat half and had to take the other haft home. It was raining heavily the whole day so I guess that's why there weren't many people during lunch. Oh, I do not recommend Vietnamese coffee. It tasted too much like powdery/instant coffee with sweetenter milk, unlike typical coffee that is prepared with a coffee fin over a cup of condensed milk and a separate glass of ice. Service could be better as the waiter never checked on us even once if we needed anything. Had to flag him down a few times. Price wise is reasonable for our dishes. We will be back to try other dishes.“

“My wife had pho and I had cubed beef on the servers recommendation. It was awesome! It’s kind of unassuming and undersold but we really enjoyed it.“
