“I worked there as a young adult and until this day I am the best potato peeler in the family 😉 definitely learned alot in Mr. Floyd’s kitchen and from some of the vets that worked they! I would always walked to the back and see how the crackling was made to. I think it was a good job and I definitely benefit from it years later!“

“i had the catfish dinner and let me tell ya'll, I have been eating, catching,cleaning and eating catfish since I was a baby(didn't start cleaning them til I was 7), and Knotts Cajun Cafe knows how to do it right! It is not overcooked, the seasoning is right on and it's not to salty! ( like alot of places) I will dang sure to stop by every time I am in the area!“

“Food I have picked up to go has been great. The chicken cracklins were warm with a light crisp, the boudin was meaty with good flavor, the fried ribs are always our favorite to chew on, the meat pie (meat) is really good and the crawfish pie is my hubby's favorite. Outside, the fuel pumps are roomy and easy to operate. The diesel pumps on the side are very convenient for my hubby's dually. The staff has been really nice and Mr. Hebert is always accommodating if something is needed. Overall, we give it a great review and we're excited they have come to Jennings to open their business“

“My husband and I travel to southern Louisiana the first weekend in May every year to partake in the crawfish festival. As a result, we like to dine at as many local establishments as possible and we always try to give an elaborate, detailed review. Let me preface this by saying I come from a family that owned a restaurant for 24 years and I have high standards. Since we come to town for crawfish, that is usually the first thing on the menu. It is not my favorite, but my husband loves it. So he ordered the crawfish(platter I think) which was a couple pounds with corn and potatoes. We were offered regular or spicy. Right here is where things get different. We eat a LOT of crawfish down here and we do our own crawfish boils. You can choose “spicy” and obtain that by leaving them in the pot for a few extra minutes to soak up the seasonings and they will be “spicy”. However, there are a few places that try to obtain the “spicy” by adding a powdered heat to it after they have been removed from the pot. If you like that way, that’s fine. We do not. We find that all it does is get all over your hands and face and really doesn’t add very much flavor to the meat at all. Each to their own. On the flip side. The crawfish were cooked and presented well and they were priced right. I had fried catfish. This too presented its own problems since it was brought on a basket, but I didn’t receive any napkins, a plate, or a fork. I did go and ask for them and received all of them. I realize that most people are ok to eat certain things with their hands, but I am a nurse by trade and I know what is lurking around on people’s hands. There will never be a day when I will eat anything with my hands. On the flip side. The catfish was phenomenal!! It was seasoned to perfection! Cooked exquisitely well and served hot! On a scale of 1-10. I’d give them a 7.5. It was good. The things they did good, they did really good.“

“1st we came here with family that is local. We got to listen to Chubby Carrier live. I couldn't quit grinnin'!!!The food and atmosphere is a real delight!! Come on in for your Zydeco breakfast, stay awhile and enjoy the music!! You won't regret it!!“
“K.B’s provided our Holy Saturday crawfish this year. They even boiled them for us! We had 29 family members and everyone was very impressed with the size, ease of peeling and taste! Best boiled crawfish we have ever had, and that’s saying something! We will be back! Thanks Amy!“

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ocean Select Seafood. This is one of the best companies I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and I will gladly return here for any type of delivery, loading, or unloading.
When I was doing a pickup in Houston, Texas, and heading to Louisiana, I called the company in advance to see if I could arrive earlier. They kindly agreed to accept my delivery ahead of the scheduled time, which was incredibly pleasant and convenient.
My experience with this company was truly exceptional. After completing the delivery and preparing to rest, I discovered that the staff had even cleaned the inside of my trailer. I had never encountered such thoughtful service before! If I could give this company hundreds of thousands of stars, I would do so without hesitation.

“The brunch was “the bomb”! Celee our waitress was quite pleasant and very helpful with choices of mimosas. Love love love the blood orange mimosa!!! Manager Chris was really nice and offered great advice on table reservations on our next visit. Overall I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Would recommend to all.“
