“This was my first time here and it was amazing! The bbq ribs fell off the bone and the collard greens were flat out delicious!! I would definitely recommend! The portions are great for the price too. The staff was really friendly and the service was fast. It is cash only so bring some with you, you won’t be disappointed.“

“I had a very good ribeye there for a lunch, juicy and tender. Mashed potatoes were a great addition to it. It was a good idea to update the menu (previously there was a sirloin, average at best). Thumbs up for very reasonable prices of food in general.

“Food was outstanding as usual. Items very reasonable priced. Very loud, hard to have a conservation for two. Felt like my appetizer was rushed due to the main course coming out too soon. Waiter very attentive in the beginning but later was distracted serving a large table that ordered several bottles of wine. My husband said it was the best Old Fashioned he had ever had. Always on my list of places to eat when I visit NO.“

“I was looking for a lowkey place for dinner after working all day and this was the perfect choice! The ambiance was great, food was top tier and the service was exceptional. Mason was my server and he made amazing recommendations. I had the gumbo, brisket, and a desert to go. All were amazing! Even other servers were kind and welcoming (hi Jimmy!). I can’t recommend this place more, and I will definitely be back!“

“My favorite New Orleans restaurant. The food is always fresh, flavorful and delicious. Frank keeps the menu seasonal and world with what's fresh in the market. New Orleans is home to many fine dining restaurants but none dinner than Brigtsen's. it's friendly, distinguished, welcoming to all. I'm not a fancy person and I've never felt out of place here. You won't find a better place to dine.“

“I’ve gotten dinner here twice now and planning on more, fried chicken and stewed chicken are absolutely delicious. Love their dinner rolls, collard greens to die for. Got orders for three people and barely went over $40. If you love your friends or family take them here, and if you love yourself you must go, no life is complete without a visit ❤️❤️❤️“

“I visited the location on Ponchatrain in Nola last night _ I will NEVER dine in late at night - The host was outside playing with the managers dog in the parking lot - She walked in the side door and greeted me picked up the menu and NEVER sanitized or washed her hands. The server complained about it being slow- My food came out cold- The manager on duty last didn't care- They put my side dishes in the microwave They served me the same cold chicken I sent back and just put it on the grill for a few minutes. Horrible customer service experience and the quality of the food was worse.“

“This was our first time eating here ( we're visiting from Kansas City). We've been to about a dozen restaurants and this has been our favorite! we've been disappointed by other restaurants boasting about their Cajun dishes only to find out they're bland. We got the "Conflict resolution" because we couldn't decide what to get. We were not disappointed! So yummy!!!!!“

“My bestie and I visited Monday during Essence Fest Weekend and had the best server Centorrey. She was very attentive and honest from the time we sat down til the time we departed. Her customer service was A+++ Centorrey made coming to this restaurant a joy that I had to see her manager personally and verbally tell him what an amazing job she did. Thank you so much Centorrey and Hadji (Manager) for a great experience. The food and drinks were on point as well just removed those little airplane fans because that do nothing for that NOLA heat. I'll see you guys on my next visit“

“Zea Rotisserie & Cafe on Hickory Avenue in Harahan (just a stone’s throw from Elmwood) offers a solid dining experience that’s hard not to appreciate—even if it doesn’t quite knock your socks off. The rotisserie chicken is reliably juicy, the Thai ribs have a nice kick, and the roasted corn grits are a comforting side that rarely disappoints. I recently had the Honey Island chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Absolutely recommend the hummus.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual lunch or low-key dinner. Service is generally attentive without being overbearing. While some menu items might not dazzle every time, the overall consistency and friendly vibe make it a dependable go-to when you're in the area.
It’s not revolutionary—but it doesn’t need to be. Zea delivers exactly what it promises: good food, good service, and in a welcoming environment. Sometimes, that’s more than enough.“

“I forgot about this place, but now I'm back. Grabbed the Wednesday special, which was pretty good, I asked the waitress if it was white or dark meat. She informed me it was white, she was wrong. My mechanic scored from that. We did go back Thursday, I got the hotdog on french with homemade chili. Food is good, and the seasoning was good. We will be regulars!“

“We were directed here by one of the airport staff during a long layover. We were a large group from Florida and were taken care of very well. The gentleman we were told was the owner’s grandson, was working the floor and in spite of being short handed did a great job accommodating us. I had the fish and grits. The food was delicious. Everyone stated that their food was great. Shrimp and grits, jambalaya, fried chicken, sandwich, every meal was seasoned and cooked with perfection. I look forward to visiting again.“
