“This is my favorite Subway. Not here to rate the food, though I’ve never had a bad experience with it. I go here once a week for a quick sandwich, and the reason it gets 5 stars is because of the man who makes your sandwich, Shem. He is incredibly kind and genuine and has the best customer service. He works open till close 7-days a week (often alone) and supports his big family here as well as India. He’s always quick, reliable and happy to see you. So if you get bothered by one too many pickles on your sandwich or can’t eat there with your wife when it’s closing, I’m sorry your life is so hard. Shem is the best part about this place and earns all 5 stars every time.“

“had a wonderful experience at this Subway! The restaurant was spotless—from the sparkling floors to the neatly organized food prep area, everything looked well cared for and hygienic. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every employee I interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. “I didn’t catch the gift of the working gentleman’s name, but I’d be a wealthier man if I did (11/30/25 evening shift, around 8:00P). He was timely, friendly, and his sub crafting skills were superb. Every nuanced request of mine was met- nay; exceeded- to the fullest extent of my wildest Eat Fresh dreams. I asked for light salt and pepper: he actually listened. I asked for extra pickles: his demeanor said “say less”. This man follows through. Next time you’re passing through Slidell, make it a point to slide into Subway during this man’s shift. “I travel all over the country and this Subway makes THE best sandwiches. I’ve actually never been to a better subway. The bread is always fresh. Same with the veggies. I had to talk myself out of ordering multiple sandwiches each day! This isn’t really a dine-in location since it’s in a hospital. But takeout would be worth it.“

“The owner is hands down a truly good person. I have skepticism over the safety of a delivery I received and not only did he want to remake it he wanted to personally deliver it. I declined and he insisted yet I picked it up my self and he still surprised me with extras and apologized. Ive never seen a chain store more properly ran than theese.“
