“Went with my parents for lunch today. We each had a fresh, crisp salad. My parents had catfish. It was fried to perfection and nicely seasoned but not too salty or spicy. I had the corn and shrimp bisque. It was thick, creamy, and delicious. This establishment serves delicious food for ridiculously affordable prices.“

“You were recommended by a friend. I came and purchased several bags of the shrimp etoufee and the crawfish Julie sauce for our tailgate party. Both sauces were a huge hit, extremely flavorful and not salty. They were delicious. I will be back soon and sooo worth my drive to the north shore! Thank you!!!“

“Lago’s food is always fresh and authentic. Try the street steak quesadillas, they are addictive! The molcajete is a must to experience. It arrived in a huge cauldron of roasted meats and veggies with cactus! Absolutely delicious. The service is always great!“

“They came to our office with the food truck. Tyler was extremely accommodating and got it all done very efficiently. The food was great and our staff were very happy. Prices were reasonable, and the staff in the truck were friendly. I would definitely use Creole Tomateaux again!!“

“This is a quaint restaurant on the lakefront in Mandeville. I had the Killer Quesadilla with shrimp. It was great. The sweet potato fries were very good. These were waffle fries which added to the crispness of fries. The queso was a little think but was good. Service was good also.“

“i had a misunderstanding with a to go order , when i got there to get my food i realized a few things were wrong, with zero hesitation the manager came out and refunded me for the original order and corrected everything, also let us keep the extras. Not many places have this type of customer service! Food is consistent and so are the employees!“

“I have eaten and taken out food here several times over the last 2 years. Everything has always been amazing! The staff is so kind, and this might be the cutest and quaint restaurant around. The bar is the perfect stop to eat in or have a drink while you take food to go!“
