“Lago’s food is always fresh and authentic. Try the street steak quesadillas, they are addictive! The molcajete is a must to experience. It arrived in a huge cauldron of roasted meats and veggies with cactus! Absolutely delicious. The service is always great!“

“We have been about 6 times with friends and everyone loved everything we tried. The food is fresh with multiple layers of flavor. The negative ratings are about service or wait times. (Which we have not had a problem with) But the food is what matters! I recommend the poblano rice and plantains as sides. Nachos as an appetizer or entree because it is not a hunk of cheese melted on old repeatedly fried chips we find everywhere else. The guacamole is the best I have ever had. But, as a dessert gal, I have tried them all and there is not one I would not get againm(hint: the chocolate cake with flan on top is my favorite)“

“Paco’s Tacos is THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN LOUISIANA. Not exaggerating. I guarantee you’ve never had Mexican food like this. Try their birria tacos (they have specials on Thursdays for that for a discounted price.) The ahoggados are insane!!! YOU HAVE NEVER EATEN ANYTHING THIS DELICIOUS!! The horchata rice drink is super authentic and their hibiscus drink is sweet and refreshing. I could eat there everyday. Incredible. Thank me later. Don’t wait. Go now! 🤤“

“We are originally from South Texas so we know really good Tex Mex food. A lot of places in the New Orleans area say “TexMex” but have no idea what that means at all!! They still make a very South American style food. This place actually serves a texas tamale and puts a beef con carne gravy on top of the enchiladas and tamales like they do in Texas, not a gross red sauce! The George’ nachos were crispy and delicious with fajita meat on top. We had the Special Mexican dinner plates that gave you a little taste of everything and was under $15.00!!! They even did a special cheese enchilada for us instead of a beef one. Great outdoor patio area as well. The strawberry margaritas were great too. Love this place and will be back again and again!!?“

“I went to Garcia's in Covington for the first time with my mom, sister and neice. Vanessa was our waitress and she was awesome!! The food was really good and fresh. Vanessa was the kind of waitress that I love. She joked with us, answered all our questions, and was a really great server. Service was quick and everything was great. Highly recommended!“

“Wow! One of the best tacos I’ve had on the Northshore! I went a week ago and I picked up some birria tacos, salsa, and horchata. I’ve never had horchata before and omg it was amazing and they gave me a huge cup! So cool! Thank y’all!“

“Thank you to the ONLY place that ever never made me feel NOT handicapped! The entire service industry needs to be taught by these waitresses AND manager on how to treat the handicapped!!!! “i had a misunderstanding with a to go order , when i got there to get my food i realized a few things were wrong, with zero hesitation the manager came out and refunded me for the original order and corrected everything, also let us keep the extras. Not many places have this type of customer service! Food is consistent and so are the employees!“

“I love coming here! Every time I am able to stop by, I do. The employees are very nice, and make me feel super special! I have been noticing two employees that really stand out, their names are Joseph and, Nicholas (hopefully spelling those correctly) They can run the entire store by themselves! “Friendly service, quick, clean restaurant, huge portions. Pick what you want and load it up! I had a spinach burrito with juicy dark meat chicken and fresh toppings. This could easily become a favorite spot for a quick bite to eat. Plenty of healthy options.
Vegetarian options: A lot to choose from!
Kid-friendliness: Even picky eaters can find something. You design your owl, bowl/burrito/nachos. Only like chicken and cheese? Just get chicken and cheese!“
