“Tried for the 1st time today for lunch at work. I got the special which was half a shrimp poboy and a cup of corn and crab soup. Soup was packed with meat. Shrimp were FRESH and not over breaded. I definitely enjoyed all of it. If you haven't tried this place yet, I would recommend for sure. Can't wait to try other things.“

“Long day of fishing out of Sweet Water Marina (Da Crow). Decided to take a recommendation from YouTube personality Outside the Levees and eat Lunch at Dat Kitchen. We walked in and were greeted by Chef Medah with a smile. She gave us a run down of the special and that’s what we got. A seafood stuffed potato with fried catfish fillet topper. “My husband and I decided to try this based on previous reviews during a quick trip from Pennsylvania..so glad we came here. The food is AWESOME! I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the Shrimp Etouffee. He also had the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo as an appetizer. We shared a side of Red Beans and Rice....all were delicious! And to top it all off for my birthday, I ordered the Tiramisu...it was a huge piece and also delicious. Our server, Mason, was so attentive and polite. It came with 3 huge tenders and fries. Price is on point with the food. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. I was only going to order to go but the place was extremely clean and just had to sit down and eat. Restrooms were clean to the max with a hit of clean smell. The place was spotless. “Hole in the Wall restaurant worth ordering from. We were in the area after visiting the Katrina Memorial Museum (Also worth the visit!!!). The Garlic Butter wings were insanely full of flavor & crispy. The combination fried rice was a special kind of good, not overloaded with soy sauce, Just "Damn Good"!!!!!! “We were fortunate to get a recommendation to this hidden gem on Frenchman from a local artist. There is literally about ten tables, and they don't take reservations, so I it's recommended to get there when they open. For an appetizer, we ordered the mussels. They were delicious! For entrees, we had the steak special with Ocean Sauce (creole based) and the Veal Ocean (veal, crabmeat, crawfish, and capers) in a croele sauce ---literally couldn't stop eating it! Did not order dessert, but observing from other nearby tables, it looked outstanding! It was one of the top meals we had while visiting! Highly recommend!“

I had the chopped salad, interestingly including goat cheese and crispy okra. I probably should have asked about the okra. Danielle was kind enough to serve house made Cajun ranch on the side; was very tasty. Would have enjoyed a little more goat cheese. Crispy okra = fried okra, which blew my mind - warm fried okra on top of my fresh salad. I put all of the okra in a small bowl on the side and ate it separately. I think getting someone's attention to check out probably was the slowest part of the process. Drinks never went dry, and pricing is reasonable. Not sure we will return, though, just because there's nothing outstanding about the food; it's just good.“

So far I have sampled the BBQ brisket, a brisket bomb, their burger, their Rueben and of course the crawfish. NOLA Crawfish King has some of the spiciest and best crawfish I've had in a long while and since Big Fisherman closed on Magazine Street the current champ of having the best seasoned crawfish in New Orleans is the NOLA Crawfish King as measured by my taste buds. “We went on a rainy day so the place wasn't to busy but the vibes were still there! The vibes were so great that we were there long enough for our a lunch date to turn into a happy hour date. The music was amazing! Made me want to keep drinking! I only had small plates and everything was delicious but the star of the show was the hot sausage tacos. They are not pictured because I ate them so fast. The customer service was awesome. And the owner was so friendly and welcoming. I will be returning to Justini soon.“

“Hands down, B & J Seafood's crawfish is the best!!! We have been eating their crawfish since the 1990's when they were on St. Claude Avenue. The flavor is not too spicy, not salty it is just right. The lines are always long and you have to order ahead to get it, because it really goes fast. They have not changed the recipe for years and I hope they don't.“
