“Chef Trevor is the kindest! The sushi is Amazing! I recently visited The restaurant for dinner after a long day of school my grandkids. And work myself. We were told by the hostess that there was an hour wait and that there was barely anywhere to sit so she advises that we could sit at the bar which we did the sushi bar that is. After waiting for some time Chef Trevor noticed that we were not being really engaged. He then asked me if the kids and I would like something to drink so what you said yes the hostess one of the waiters chef Trevor’s prompting, served us drinks as well as kept our cups filled Thank you! we were very grateful for the kindness that was bestowed upon us. The Hostess. After advising of the long wait, didn’t offer a drink of water nothing. Never engaged, never updated nothing. It was busy so I didn’t panic. We just waited. Chef Trevor was very attentive. Updating and very engaging! He made our visit a pleasure. Thank you Chef Trevor! I hope that you were able to Kater Annex sushi party!❤️❤️❤️“

Been coming here with my family since before i could walk and it stands as one of our oldest traditions to have dinner or lunch here at least once a week. The staff are the absolute best! “Very nice restaurant, the Pho was good but not excellent. The soup was just ok, but the meat/ round was good. I have tasted better Pho than this restaurant. The size of the bowl was ok, not as large as other pho restaurants. The price of the soup was on the higher side because of the location. Overall experience was good. Thank you for the super attentive waiter. She noticed I needed a fork and immediately brought it to me.“

“Inflation is real. I hadn’t been in here in 3 plus years so man oh man have I been living under a rock.

Anyway, the food is still pretty solid (been here several times in the last decade). It’s mildly westernized bc the slice of carrots, radish are pretty thick by Vietnamese standards (note: I was in HCMC back in March 2025—HoChiMinh City). The chargrilled pork was 1/4th charred compared to the motherland but still solid in flavor. $14 for chicken spring rolls? Seemed pricey but they are super thick so not as shocking. I could have ordered two for $7.

Overall, $19 for a plate is pricey for the Westbank and would have thought I was uptown where rent is 2x. Idk. The volume is good for the price but I guess inflation is warping my perception. Overall, I still enjoyed the food and recommend them still esp if this is the new norm.“

“Food was average to good. Considering it's a chain restaurant, my expectation is never high. The service was great. However, the ladies room for dinner service was atrocious. Trash on the floor and water everywhere. The restroom didn't get checked at all that day. Good thing I went on my way out. It was extremely displeasing and made me wonder what the kitchen may look like. I won't be back anytime soon, but my granddaughter likes their Chicken Alfredo, and that's the only reason I dine there.“

“I love their food. I had Lamb shank one time, then I came back for beef shawarma. When it comes to Chicken shawarma, that was rocking I have never tasted Chicken shawarma like that before, I got addicted, I do A/C work. “We ordered online and our order was over 43.00. According to the website when you have an order for over 35.00 you get free fried dumplings. We picked up our order gave them a 50 dollar bill to include a tip and we did not receive the fried dumplings. The rest of the food was good and made to order, but don’t say you’re going to get an order of fried dumplings for free with orders of 35.00 or more if they aren’t going to honor that. When I called to mention this the person I spoke to was a little combative about it saying if it’s not on the ticket they won’t make it. Then you need to fix the problem bruh.“

“Good rolled sandwiches. Very hearty and nutritious. Hard to beat their speed and quality in the CBD area, especially for the price. Plenty of ingredient options from the “roll your own” menu. The ladies here are very sweet, accommodating, and make an effort to learn their customers.“
