“New Orleans is nortorius for not separating checks. I find this very inconvenient to the customer especially when you have party larger than two. Then it's very embarrassing to see customers passing the hat to pay for their portion of the meal with cash trying to figure out tax and tip. Everywhere I've been, there is no problem separating checks. I've been to New Orleans and requested separate checks and the waiters seem confused and then it becomes a huge delay. It's sad this restuarant has good food and atmosphere with this type of service and doesn't make it easy for customers to do business with them. They make easy for themselves but not for the customers. Go figure“

“I will start with the seating, it was a terrible make-shift area where they happened to place a table right where everyone passes including patrons, servers, and ancillary staff. The draft was quite annoying. Secondly, we were so rushed by the staff that it made us uncomfortable. They completely stopped serving or refilling our drinks. They boxed our food mixing appetizers. Tuna with spicy shrimp and BBQ shrimp with crab cakes. The flavors are very different but mixing them made one overpower the other. We decided to order appetizers to go and asked to box them separately. Thirdly, we asked if we could hold onto the menu as we like to order entrees to go for the work week. Our server, as we were discussing options with him, grabbed the menu and walked away with it. We were shocked. Fourth, we hadn't decided if we wanted dessert at that point so we asked for the dessert menu. The waiter, Chase, stated that he could just tell us the desserts and starts rambling off the items then stand there as we had to make a decision. We both opted for the cheesecake because we felt rushed and weren't able to view the menu. This experience has turned me off, because of the amount of money we spend or have spent, on making reservations here ever again. We will be looking into other options for our date nights. Sidenote: on another occasion we had made reservations and as we were walking to the table he was told to take his epoch hat off and as we looked around later in the evening we noticed men with baseball caps and other various hats at the tables. Last night as well. So is there a dress code or is it random?“

“Had a large group of 12, business dinner. This was the 4th time here. Food quality was great, especially the massive seafood sampler. The servers took care of getting nice portions to everyone so we didn't have to fumble around with everything. Service was supurb. Plenty of attention to details, never felt like we were waiting for anything. Very curteous professionals. They have a piano singer, good vibes. Sometimes it was loud and difficult to hear.“

“I booked a private party for 25 people for my dad’s 90th birthday. Ms Carol Gales was so easy to deal with and very helpful. On the night of the event everything was as promised. The food was great and the service team was spot on. The whole event went beautifully. I cannot thank you enough. Highly recommend. Also pricing was super reasonable!“

“We were in search of a nice dinner to celebrate our engagement and after a terrible experience at Chemir a la Mer the night prior, we decided to give Dickie Brennan's a shot. I am so thankfull we were able to secure a reservation...they filled up very quickly. We were greeted with congratulations and even had a ballon at our table. Deja was so, so friendly and attentive. Our steaks were cooked just as we requested and so delicious! The sides werr just as great. We look forward to donong here again the next time we are in New Orleans and we will highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans. Thank you for such a great celebration dinner!“

“So, this wasn't a standard dining experience. This experience was a champagne dinner event. Ruth's has annual wine and or champagne dinners scheduled and I have been to at least 30 of these over the years past. This was absolutely the best dinner event I have attended! The chef and the staff knocked this one out of the park!!“

“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.“

“We dined here the second evening after the restaurant's reopening on Magazine St. The decor provides for a romantic setting with a well appointed bricked interior. Our meal was flawless as was the service (Susan). Recommend the shellfish bisque and broiled oysters (Bon Ton oysters on the menu). This will be a regular stop for future New Orleans dining.“

“First time at NOLA Steak. The Filet and NOLA Strip steaks were both cooked PERFECT! Seasoning was spot on. Baked potato was giant and came loaded…delicious. OMG you have to try the beignets for dessert!!!!! No words for how good they were. Our waiter, Robbie, was very attentive, had a great attitude, respectful, and knowledgeable of the menu. “Honestly, I can't really rate this place because I couldn't even get in this establishment. I'm assuming by the crowds of people that are always here that the food is really good. I wish I could've experienced it, lol. It just makes me think, how's the quality of the food and service. The prices are reasonable, but if you come here expect a wait. There really needs to be another Texas Roadhouse, here in the city of New Orleans. This is a popular food chain again with reasonable prices.“
