When i travel i like to find the best burger joint in town and I think i found my favorite! I'm from way outta state in Columbia, Missouri, but I'll buy a Burger from them everytime I come to New Orleans from now on!“

“As a local, Backspace Bar is one of my favorite low-key spots in the Quarter. The playlists are peak millennial emo in the best way. The kind of music that makes you sing along and remember your Warped Tour years. I’ve never heard anything in here that wasn't on point.
Its location near several major music venues makes it an ideal stop before a show for a drink and a quick bite. Easy, convenient, and way better than wandering into a random tourist bar.
The menu is smaller, but everything is done really well and the portions are massive. The Brussels sprouts are my go-to and easily big enough to share with at least three people.
The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe feels like a true locals bar hiding in plain sight among the overpriced BS.“

“I've been hearing about this place and I finally got to try it today for lunch. It's a neat little joint with cool art, good music, and an overall chill atmosphere! I got the classic burger with fries. It's a pretty simple menu, but there is a board with daily specials. The burger was super delicious!! The patty was juicy and seasoned well. The bun was soft, tasty, and grilled just on the inside. The regular fries are simple, but tasty. These Nerds know what they're doing!! I'll be back!! 😉“

“I've eaten here before and the food is to be as expected. It's chicken, fish and fried rice. Simple food, so you know what you're getting. I have no problem coming back again and again. What I do have a problem with is that you can't make a phone order. So, if I wanted 1000 pieces, I'd have to wait for them to fry 1k wings? That would dang near take over an hour of wait time to fry that instead of letting me pay for it over the phone and just picking it up at a stated time.“

“Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣). Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!“

“Went here my first time in college 1977, age 22, walk in a girl grabbed my hand and had me dance with her. I was fairly awkward young guy, so this really boosted my confidence . It was such a memorable experience. I just remember having some beers and eating some delicious chicken wings and always coming here on a regular basis. I’m 69 years old. I will never forget this place. I hope it stays here forever.“

“Amazing service especially for the middle of Mardi Gras. The food is good not anything to brag about selection wise but it's fresh and quick. The only draw back about this location and it's not a bad thing it's just everytime I have been here it's freezing . They got the AC on so freaking high but I wouldn't change it just make sure you bring a sweater and if you are at the tables next to the stage be prepared to freeze. Staff is amazing tho if it's too cold for you they have no problem relocating you. Amazing job Hard Rock NOLA!!!“
