“Best Burger I've had in a long time, you know that mouth watery feeling when you take bite and all the flavor hits your tongue and you just lean your head back and go ummmm, thats what that burger did to me and i just got an original single add bacon and was delicious. When i travel i like to find the best burger joint in town and I think i found my favorite! I'm from way outta state in Columbia, Missouri, but I'll buy a Burger from them everytime I come to New Orleans from now on!“

“The strawberry milkshake was good! I was a little worried I wasn’t going to like the Brussels sprouts, but I actually ended up really enjoying them!

We originally wanted to dine in, but we walked in around 10:10 thinking we’d still be able to sit and eat and we had just come in from out of town. Most of the tables were already put up and the lights were dimmed, so it felt like they were closing, and we kind of felt like we had to take it to go.

The cookie was good, but it wasn’t warm—we had to go back in and ask about a fork for the Brussel Sprouts. The queso on the fries was AMAZING though! Burger was amazing too!! The fries themselves were decent, but the queso really made them stand out. Wait time was very short and service was great!

“Phenomenal food and even better service. The food is like the rich comfort food of old school hunting club restaurants but elevated/updated and more chic. The beef Wellington was excellent. The hostess, bartender and Chris, our server were all wonderful- we felt so taken care of and both the bartender and our server had a very extensive knowledge of the drink and food menu and helped us find exactly what we were in the mood for. Atmosphere was really fun and cozy too. Be sure to stop by the lux totally mirrored bathroom in the back. HIGHLY recommend.“

“As a local, Backspace Bar is one of my favorite low-key spots in the Quarter. The playlists are peak millennial emo in the best way. The kind of music that makes you sing along and remember your Warped Tour years. I’ve never heard anything in here that wasn't on point.
Its location near several major music venues makes it an ideal stop before a show for a drink and a quick bite. Easy, convenient, and way better than wandering into a random tourist bar.
The menu is smaller, but everything is done really well and the portions are massive. The Brussels sprouts are my go-to and easily big enough to share with at least three people.
The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe feels like a true locals bar hiding in plain sight among the overpriced BS.“

“I've eaten here before and the food is to be as expected. It's chicken, fish and fried rice. Simple food, so you know what you're getting. I have no problem coming back again and again. What I do have a problem with is that you can't make a phone order. So, if I wanted 1000 pieces, I'd have to wait for them to fry 1k wings? That would dang near take over an hour of wait time to fry that instead of letting me pay for it over the phone and just picking it up at a stated time.“

“Today is my son's 13th birthday and he's been a hothead/heat seeker for as long as I can remember. For perspective, he finally convinced Santa after 2 years to gift him the One Chip Challenge when he was 7. Today, his special request was to eat the hottest wings we could find, so my hubby found this place online last night. It's a short drive from Metairie, so although he wanted to do the Bayou Beast Challenge, we only had time to get a to-go order with all the other birthday errands we were running. We got a 6 piece of the Bayou Beast flavored wings. The gentleman checking us out was an absolute stand up guy who was equal parts concerned and impressed when he realized the order wasn't for me, but for the short kid standing next to me who told him he didn't want or need a dipping sauce. He even offered him a birthday coke (probably as a piece offering to the gods as an apology for what was going to transpire in my bathroom later🤣). Now to the fun part. I normally do these challenges with him, but today he wanted to fly solo. So I prepped the counter for him as usual with milk, yogurt, wipes etc. When I opened the box? YALL! The smell burned my eyes and instantly gave me PTSD from when I ate Da Bomb wing in the Hot Wings Challenge last year. My newly minted teenager the proceeded to smash all 6 in 5 minutes and did it like a pro without even a sip of water. I managed to get a single bite before they disappeared and I can guarantee you, the bathroom will be your sanctuary. I would not survive more than 2 as a grown adult. Maybe he's a glutton for punishment. Maybe he's a mutant. But what I do know is my dude is determined to beat that challenge and get that shirt and picture on the wall, so we'll be back very soon!“

“Went here my first time in college 1977, age 22, walk in a girl grabbed my hand and had me dance with her. I was fairly awkward young guy, so this really boosted my confidence . It was such a memorable experience. I just remember having some beers and eating some delicious chicken wings and always coming here on a regular basis. I’m 69 years old. I will never forget this place. I hope it stays here forever.“

“Amazing service especially for the middle of Mardi Gras. The food is good not anything to brag about selection wise but it's fresh and quick. The only draw back about this location and it's not a bad thing it's just everytime I have been here it's freezing . They got the AC on so freaking high but I wouldn't change it just make sure you bring a sweater and if you are at the tables next to the stage be prepared to freeze. Staff is amazing tho if it's too cold for you they have no problem relocating you. Amazing job Hard Rock NOLA!!!“

Food was excellent, tasty and hot, 5/5 . I had an oyster on bun dressed combo. Paid $13 I think. Service was 4/5 . Not bad but not really any customer service at all, not rude but definitely not the nicest lol. Ok so the place itself just needs a nice lil update.“

“What a treasure we stumbled upon on our recent trip to New Orleans. We rode the Ferry to Algiers Point with the intent to go to the recommended English Pub. Since they did not serve food and we were starving, we went in search of food. The Drift Inn Diner is charming and cool and decoratef with red and white and the perfect shade of blue- very retro. Heidi waited on us, and she was so friendly and took great care of us. I had the patty melt- swiss cheese, grilled onions, beef patty on light rye bread and it was delicious. The seemingly homemade pickle slices were really good. I also had a side salad with the perfect homemade roasted garlic vinagrette dressing. My hubs loved his Ltop burger that came with a mound of hot shoestring French fries. We had to try the also homemade soft serve ice cream. I'm still thinking about the in house celery soda that I didn't try. I highly recommend!“

“Was home in 2020 for vacation from from Tennessee where I am living nowadays. Knowing a lot about the bar and restaurant industry before I retired. Was taken here by cousin to celebrate my birthday. The staff, food, drinks and atmosphere was A-1.“

“Pretty decent breakfast. They do a three-egg breakfast, which I really appreciate. Bacon was perfectly cooked. Coffee was good too. The grits, however, were slightly undercooked. They were ok, but they would have been much better if they were cooked about a half-hour longer. They required a lot of salt. Take your own sweet-n-low.“
