“This is a small cozy place. The food is really good. The wait staff are super friendly. Often there are live local entertainers. Reservations are recommended but we have gone several times with none and got seated.”
“Great pho spot. I go there twice a week. Spring rolls are fresh. Vietnamese tacos are amazing. Pho is delicious, so rich and flavorful. I like to add chili oil to make it spicy. It's damn so good!”
“Our group ate a pre-fixed menu. All was ok. A bit slow, since it was at lunch and they didn't have a separate area for us, so our group had to wait until tables were available. Their regular lunch crowd was very busy so our group was a very long time being fed. Got there at noon and some of us never got fed until 1:45. Food was tasty once we got it. We had made arrangements prior since this was a large tour group.”
“The best little coffee shop around! They always make my coffee exactly how I love it. The atmosphere is also very mellow. Love stopping in & sipping some good coffee here as much as possible! The food is also really good!Kid-friendliness: I often bring in my 3 year old. They always make him a chocolate milk to match moms coffee ?”
“This has easily become my favorite coffee shop. The people are sweet and always have a smile on their faces even through a rush. My coffee is always right on (especially when I ask extra caramel!) amazing business here!”
“We had the best possible time and service here. The onions rings were much more than just onion rings and the fried shrimp was immaculate. The dessert special was beignets, the best of which we’ve ever had. Love this place, love these people.”
“This place has a huge menu with excellent food. Everything is fresh and well prepared and they have very generous portions. The staff is friendly and service is great. 2 for 1 margaritas and they don't water them down to make up the cost.”
“By far the best dessert spot in Lafayette! The owners/ staff are so warm and welcoming, it makes supporting this small business so easy! On top of the great customer service, their cookies and brownies and the best I’ve ever had. They are always fresh and have so many flavors to pick from, everybody can find something they love!”
“I brought friends and family all the way down from Ohio to eat here. This place is the real deal! Excellent food and lovely staff! A hidden gem. Worth the ride.”
“What more can I say.. This place is home cooked Cajun food at its finest. If you want true Cajun cooking, come to this place. The staff is fast and helpful, they do plate lunches and let me tell you... It slaps like will Smith at an awards show ”
“I'm only giving a 4 for atmosphere because it was dead on a Sunday night... otherwise the place was awesome.... I got real lucky that they had birria on the menu! Guacamole wad ”
“You will not find better food or the proportions served anywhere else in this little town! They have the biggest best burgers and is all worth the money! Nobody in this town serves the size they do! They have plate lunches fresh everyday and give nice sized proportions as well! Family owned, wonderful and good people! You could never go wrong by stopping in and grab you a bite to eat with the best food in Saint Martinville!”
“Ton’s is the perfect example of a classic local spot that’s been here for years and it’s obvious why they’ve stood the test of time their service, food and reputation are great! It’s a great spot to grab breakfast, their burrito hands down one of the best around. The staff is so polite and courteous makes you wanna come back for more! Thanks Ton’s for always providing. Your service for the community!!!”
“My friends & I stopped in for a birthday celebration. Josh our server couldn't have been friendlier & attentive. The food was amazing!!! Would definitely eat here again.”
“Y’all. Their boudin is THE BEST. …would be even better if they laid off the red pepper just a bit, otherwise it’s better than any other boudin around here.”
“Surprisingly great food! I saw people mention this place and their birria tacos on FB so we decided to give it a try. Man I'm glad we did! My girlfriend and I both said these were some of the best birria tacos we had ever had. We also got my daughter some take out and for a simple rice/chicken/cheese dish it was very good. It's also very affordable with food for 4 coming in under $100 with tip. I would highly recommend La Fiesta to anyone looking for a birria fix.”
“Ohhh Weee! Look- sometimes it really is just those roadside stops that provide for the best food- and this place did NOT disappoint! We treated ourselves to a variety of their offerings- including 3 types of boudin, their fried chicken & fried gator. When I tell you that I feel like I need to thank someone's ancestors for that fried chicken- I am not lying! Lol. It was juicy & fried to perfection! The gator was also fried perfectly & they're doing some magic in there with that batter - bc it was seasoned in all the right ways. The boudin was also great- we got a link of each; traditional pork, gator & a link of the crawfish. I personally didn't care for the crawfish- but that's a me thing- (gotta have my mudbugs separate! lol) but the flavor of all 3 was great. This place has themselves on the map for a reason, between the fantastic food & southern hospitality- don't miss this stop! 5 stars!”
“We stopped in for breakfast and we were warmly greeted by Michelle. Miles prepared an excellent omelette for us.We highly recommend this restaurant for the good food and great atmosphere!”
“I stopped the first time on the Saturday before Easter and I just left after not seeing anyone and the lane being closed. Later I found out they were closed that day for only catering order pickups. So this past weekend I stopped once again. I'm definitely a BBQ enthusiast and that smoke smell just draws you in! I grabbed two egg and potato tacos on my way to work with their salsa and BBQ sauce to try. Maaaaaaaaannn! That says enough, and I will be back to try more breakfast and lunch items from the menu! The service was great and super quick.”
“I am from out of town but when I come to Louisiana it seems I can't find a good Chinese restaurant...K-Asian hit the spot. We will be back. The food was flavorful and the staff was super ”
“Incredible food and incredible service! The best crawfish boil we've had in our visits to Louisiana. We were passing through Breaux Bridge and came across this spot and so glad we did. We will definitely be back!”
“Found this hidden gem by word of mouth. The service was friendly and the food was good. They had plate lunch options that we will have to go back for.Grilled Chicken & Shrimp with Carrots & Red BeansCrab Burger and Fries”
“They know how to cook seafood. Classic porboys and other choices.Wheelchair accessibility: Three old steps up with no visible ramp. Parking area mainly on street.”
“Very cute, vintage, old school genuine diner. Great service, great food, and loved meeting the owner. Hard workers. True Americana. Love their slogan “God bless Mel’s and God Bless America!” ??Will definitely be back when we’re in the area.”
“10/10 great place to go have some good food! Ask them about their signature Angelle’s Cajun Seasoning, just made some salmon with lil bit of Angelle’s and needless to say the results are crazy good ?”
“I, Carlos Webb & Cyndi Vincent-Fawvor danced to the GOOD music that band, the 4 HORSES provided. We enjoyed the Good gumbo, potato salad & cakes.Everyone was nice & friendly. Lots of QUEENS of all ages & different towns to see. Smoke-free, enjoyed everything. Bartenders were friendly, Great & busy.THANKS TO Luther Arceneaux for inviting us.”
“Never realized that Parish Brewing was right there in Broussard until couple weeks ago when celebrating my bday. Came upon Canebreak by good friend and is my favorite beer. The staff was very down to earth and friendly. Plan visit again.”
“Found this gem via Google while in Breaux Bridge and I instantly loved the atmosphere walking in.Our bartender Shaneil was great! Even when the place packed up, and she was the only one on bar, she continued to rock the service ?Food was good. I had the filet ( it was a little overcooked for my request of medium, but the flavor was still there and it cut nicely). My husband had the Zydeco gumbo and spicy scampi....both were also wonderful (yes, I had to try it LOL).We will definitely go back if we ever return to Breaux Bridge!”
“Place was a little overhyped didn’t really have much in it had a small diner but no precooked food so unless u have time to wait better look elsewhere for food. The place was very busy tho maybe there’s something I missed. it happens.”
“I make it a point to visit this place every Sunday I’m in town for the BBQ. Hands down the best Best BBQ around!! DJ and his family really make you feel more than welcome! Great find.”
