“Took the baby for his first sit down meal and he was so good. Son had the Brisket Fajitas and I had a combination plate. The fajitas were excellent, tender meat. The enchilada, tamale and soft taco was a great combo of chicken and beef and delicious. Started my Grand with fries but he ate most of my rice and beans, he num num after every bite. We all give Cabos a 5 star ⭐️“

“Dinner at Eliza in Baton Rouge felt like stepping into a quietly elegant celebration of Southern hospitality—warm, thoughtful, and deeply delicious from start to finish.
We began with drinks that set the tone beautifully: a Watermelon Gimlet—fresh, fragrant, and perfectly balanced—and a crisp, subtly spiced Basil Cucumber Mule Mocktail in a copper mug. Later in the evening, a smooth Espresso Martini brought just the right note of indulgence.
The Soft Shell Crab Gnocchi was a standout—perfectly crisp and golden, served over pillowy gnocchi with Lake Pontchartrain blue crab, brightened by pesto cream and sauce vierge.
The Chicken Paillard was equally lovely: tender, pan-sautéed chicken with crispy potatoes, Creole mustard sauce, and a peppery arugula salad that brought everything into balance.
Dessert was a perfect finale: a light, tangy Lemon Ice Box Pie with a buttery graham cracker crust and just a touch of hazelnut syrup—simple and satisfying.
The setting itself is a study in understated charm—refined but never fussy. Polished wood tables, bentwood chairs, and candlelight create a soft, intimate glow, while the walls are anchored by a striking print from John James Audubon’s Birds of America—specifically, Plate 217: Louisiana Heron. This exquisite illustration—delicate in form and poised in presence—is more than décor; it echoes the restaurant’s spirit: graceful, locally rooted, and quietly elevated.
And while the food and ambiance were exceptional, it was Amya’s warm, gracious service that truly made the experience memorable. She was intuitive and kind, attentive without ever interrupting the rhythm of the evening—a rare and welcome gift.
Eliza is the kind of place that understands what makes a meal linger in your memory: not just what’s on the plate, but how it’s served, where it’s enjoyed, and the thoughtful touch behind it all.

“I love albasha.. I’ve tried two separate times to go to bluebonnets location. Food is great. Employees not so much. Today was the Second time a young lady named “Angelica” has gave me attitude . Cut me off. Made rude facial expressions and Slick comments. As a person in the restaurant business. I know some days aren’t the best. Inside or out side of work. But No one deserves to be treated a certain way because it’s a “bad day” . It hasn’t just been 1 time either. Also seemed like the other employees are used to her behavior. Love the food. Hate the service :)“

“My husband and I went last night for an early Valentines dinner. “Been here three times, always treated the friendliest, most professional service people I’ve ever met in a food establishment. Today was a very busy day for them, which made it take a little longer than normal to get our food out, but I was in no rush, nor would I ever complain (being someone who had to deal with a busy day with nonstop customers while working at a shopping center taught me the importance of being patient at any business). The two or three servers who took care of us today were very kind and the food was exceptionally tasty, as it has always been. Thank you! I will definitely be back.“

“We’ve been the loyal customer of Thai Kitchen for years and it’s always a pleasure to return to a place that consistently delivers authentic Thai flavors with every visit. Their dedication to quality and tradition truly stands out.
On this visit, we ordered the Beau Nam Tok, Steak Pad Thai, and the Grilled Shrimp Green Curry. The Beau Nam Tok was especially delightful, the perfect balance of sourness paired beautifully with the fresh lettuce, creating a refreshing and flavorful bite. The Steak Pad Thai was just as good as always: savory, satisfying, and well-executed. The Grilled Shrimp Green Curry was another standout, with tender shrimp and a rich, aromatic curry that was both comforting and delicious.
Although the wait time of the food was longer than usual during this visit, the overall experience remained positive. Thai Kitchen continued to be a go-to for quality Thai cuisine, and we look forward to coming back again.“
