“We toured their little distillery today, however do not be fooled by the size of this place. It has a rich history and some incredible infused rum. Our tour hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. A place to visit and experience, I recommend the Bananas Foster rum!“

“Celebrated my cousin’s birthday here with dinner and drinks on the rooftop this past weekend. We had an amazing time! Our reservation was for 530 but we arrived about a half hour earlier and were allowed to wait in the seating area/lounge which was connected to the hotel’s bar (located in the Pontchatrain Hotel). I absolutely loved the decor because it was a concept that was welcoming, nostalgic, and upscale. Whoever designed the space is a genius. There are plenty of Instagram worthy areas to take pictures and the menu was outstanding. My cousins and I each ordered a different dish where we took turns sampling plates. There were 6 of us and we ordered the pork cheeks, fish in a bag (flounder), crawfish risotto, broccolini, braised pork ribs, and cauliflower soup. I also ordered the “hibis-kiss” drink and a lemon drop martini. We lounged around a bit before the waitress told us about the rooftop bar “Hot Tin Roof.” All on the same hotel with a beautiful view of the NOLA skyline. The hotel is located on the RTA line and we took streetcar 12 from Canal street to Josephine and St. Charles. This was a perfect way to see more of the city and embrace the culture.“

“We were in New Orleans celebrating a friend's milestone birthday and decided to try an Indian restaurant for dinner. We picked Saffron based on yelp reviews. The entire dinner was an amazing experience - right from the cocktails to the appetitzers and then the entrees and dessert, each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity. We had ordered the fish which came with a dollop of curd rice and pickle! We loved it so much that we asked if they could send us seconds of the curd rice. I would like to throw and big shout out to our amazing waiter Landon who always had a smile on his face and was spot on with his recommendations. The highlight of the day was the chef who graciously came out and checked in on each table. You can see his passion reflected in each of the dishes served today. It has been an amazing experience. If you are in NOLA or visiting, do check out this gem of a restaurant.“

“Hunter, our server, made the entire experience delightful! I'd like to shout out the bartender too, as these were by far the best alcoholic beverages we had the entire weekend! I can't wait to come back and look into staying at Maison with my hubby! We hope Hunter is still around, as his personality sold the experience ??.“
“My husband and I came for the Tasting, Tour, and Cocktail class and went on a Sunday afternoon/evening in March. This distillery may be small right now, but it's got a lot of heart. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, with great suggestions for drinks. Our tour guide was Emily, who was absolutely impressive in both her knowledge of the product as well as her teaching ability. She has an obvious genuine interest in the company and the products it produces. Freaking amazing. Definitely recommend giving this place a go for locals and tourists alike.“
“My husband and I came down from Boston for a long weekend in New Orleans and this is definitely worth a stop! We had a tour of the distillery with Alyson and she was very knowledgeable, funny and witty. We tore a lot of distilleries and wineries and breweries, and they had an excellent and very high-quality selection of bourbon available. They also offered some unique vodkas. You can't really go wrong here at all. After our tour, we ordered some drinks at the bar while we were purchasing some bottles to take home, and the bartender made some excellent recommendations of signature cocktails on their menu. Very good experience and highly recommend“

“Recently indulged in the hot salmon breakfast bagel at Flour Moon Bagel, and it was a delightful experience! The flavors were on point, and I especially enjoyed pairing it with the Sirius Raising alcoholic drink. The combination elevated my brunch to another level. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere added to the positive vibes. Definitely recommend trying this spot!“

“If you have gone to New Orleans and haven't gone to Commanders Palace, you are missing a piece of history and a great experience. Started with walking through the kitchen to get to our table. I hope you realize how confident an establishment has to be for you to see their kitchen. The wonder started there and kept going. The jazz brunch was awesome doesn't matter what you order the food was spectacular, the service staff is second to no one, and the way to finish it was a bread pudding souffle. Thank you for the experience, and the history of my first time being there under your first female executive chef. She is an artist“

“My friend and I experienced the Chloe for lunch last week 10/12/23 and it was absolutely the best lunch from start to end I have ever had. The goat cheese, pepper and garlic starter is so full of flavor I can’t even describe how happy it made my taste buds. Every bite of food I had was simply perfection. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful in their recommendations. I honestly am planning another weekend trip simply to dine here again. This is a MUST eat while in town. Thank you all for this memorable experience.“

“Great service, tasty food and a lively atmosphere. Our waiter gave us wonderful suggestions. The sides are just as good as the tacos. The Bacon Smothered Greens and Ancho Mashed Potatoes were so good and different than anything like them I've ever tasted! We also shared the Banana Bread Pudding and took a bag of cookies home to snack on tomorrow. We plan to return to The Rum House again and try some other tasty food.“

“If you are in Metairie Bar Tevs is a great spot to meet up with friends or watch a game. Great location off of Airline in Metairie away from the hustle of the city. The owners always make a fun atmosphere on game days or any day! And the food pop-up’s are on point!“
“We spent a few nights at the hotel above Dovetail and frequented Dovetail during our stay, and it was great! The drinks were fantastic (gotta shout out the Espresso Martinis on tap) and the atmosphere was wonderful (bar-side seating always made for fun conversations). “Just wonderful. Amazing food and great staff, I went there with people that are not fluent in English and they were very patient while I interpreted for them. Our server was a kind young lady that made great suggestions so we could try creole food and was overall very attentive. The food was amazing as well, we had a fantastic roast beef po boy and some great red beans and rice. A great restaurant at Magazine St!Dietary restrictions: I informed them of my shellfish allergy and they helped me choose food to accommodate for this. They were very kind and informative.“

“The food is great, but the service is what takes it over the top. Amber holds it down every single time. Never had such consistently amazing service. Every time I come here, she’s so positive and energetic. If you’re ever uncertain about the menu, she kindly assists and makes excellent recommendations. I have never seen her not smiling. Sounds like something simple, but there are very few who manage to do this job as well as Amber. She deserves a raise!“

“Breakfast and service here was so great. It was St Patrick’s Day parade weekend. They were busy but had no problem accommodating our party of 5 at the bar. The eggs sardoux had generous crabmeat and flavor. The pancakes were cooked to perfection with crispy edges and warm syrup. We sat at the bar and I was impressed with the amount of attention the servers were giving to the food presentation. The drink menu for St Patttys was awesome. Entire meal bloody Mary’s, frozen Irish coffee was delicious (recipe right on the money)..we can’t wait to bring our friends here.“

“After a few miles of wandering around New Orleans, we were parched and hungry. We tried Picnic Provisions & Whiskey on a whim (I'll admit that the name drew us in), and we weren't disappointed. We ordered inside and snagged a sunny spot outside. The food took a little bit longer than we expected, but it was tasty, as were our beverages. We'd happily return when we're in town again!“

“I'm uptown, and with Snake and Jake's just around the corner, it's hard to imagine going to the CBD for a drink, what with the hassle of parking, and generally the traffic jam in the area. BUT, I would WALK there in order to have one of Jeremiah's creations! He is a craftsman of the first order, not just a master mixologist, but an artist who pursues flavors to the extent of crafting his ingredients, whether botanicals, essences, or other alchemical potions! Trust him to craft an unforgettable wonder in a chilled glass! Additionally, the bar has a really cool vibe, with a bar area, an outside ground floor patio, and a rooftop patio engineered for your relaxation. Food wise, the empanadas were good, but the arepas were exceptional, and I know, as I regularly make them myself. You MUST visit and stay awhile for the superb libations, conversation, and comestibles! CHEERS!“

“We went in Sunday morning and we were limited on time. Haley was super great and got us out quickly. So we went back on Monday and had a great time. Haley was our waitress again, I can’t say enough about her, when you go to the Red Slipper ask for her.Now for the food. The beignets come out fresh out of the fryer and are so good, this is one that you shouldn’t pass up. The grits and cheese are delicious, one of the best grits I’ve had. (I grew up in north East Tennessee eating grits)Biscuits and gravy, what can be said about this classic? Well you can say freshly baked biscuits smothered in sausage gravy, that will make you wish you could have them everyday. The bacon is perfectly cooked and the applewood smoke is just the right amount. The fried green tomatoes are cut to the perfect thickness and the cornbread coating is just the right thickness, then fried to perfection.I can’t finish this without mentioning the coffee, they have a blend made just for the Red Slipper and it is so good.As you can tell I’m very impressed with this place and you will be too. Between the staff and the food this place will become one of your favorite restaurants.“

“Came by here one night randomly for some drinks. Love the look of the place, has such a fun vibe. Enjoyed a few cocktails, an old fashioned, mai tai, and the prize fighter. As a home-tender, I appreciate a good cocktail done right. I will say they're a bit pricey so I recommend their happy hour. We were greeted immediately and seated, waiter was nice and attentive to us. Definitely a place I will revisit to try out more of their menu.“

“I didn’t see any flying burritos … except the one that flew into my mouth!I stopped in here on February 4th 2024 and grabbed a burrito to go (brought it over to Oak St. Brewery). It was Sunday afternoon and the place was packed! There was a wonderful energy to the place.I had their flagship Flying Burrito. It comes with grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken. It was very good, and more that one person should consume at one sitting. But, of course, I ate the whole damn thing! I couldn't put it down!I can't wait for my next visit!“

“I came for an event and came back for the atmosphere. I got the chicken tenders and fries combo and a vodka and cranberry. The pool table is usually free and takes quarters. I enjoyed the laid back feel and the fact the pool and darts are in the back so I don't feel like I'm bothering others.“
“I have been to this place twice and the food is phenomenal. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I also love the decor and atmosphere! If the chocolate cake is on the menu, order it! I’m usually not a fan of chocolate cake, but it was the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t stop eating it.“
“Wrong! Don't ever trust a tourist from Missouri to know anything about NOLA dive bars. This was NOT Anthony Bourdain's favorite. As any local -- or anyone who has read Tony's second book -- knows, it was SNAKE AND JAKE'S CHRISTMAS CLUB LOUNGE "where naked people drink for free," per Tony. (But no longer since Tulane frat boys messed up that tradition.) Also, Missouri Dude, there's a new thing called Google: Jeeeeez. And to think I used to believe everything I read on Yelp. . .“
“We came here as part of a bachelorette and it was, by far, the highlight of our whole trip. The venue was amazing, Camille was so entertaining and knowledgeable, and the drinks were delicious. “Experience overall was wonderful, we were able to be seated fairly quickly and had very attentive service- the cocktails were wonderful, highly recommend the specials on the blackboard! The appetizers and pizza were flavorful but did not leave you feeling heavy- the only regret was we did come hungry so we should have got a pizza each versus splitting one! The Diavola was a wonderful option if you enjoy a balanced kick in your pizza! Not pictured but would highly recommend the strawberry shortcake when available- it is not a traditional strawberry shortcake but such a showstopper to close the meal!“

“Very good drinks and the food options were surprisingly complex in a way that was bot surprising and delightful. I got the daily punch, candy remember what was in it but it was delish. We ordered a bunch of small plates and happy hour items, all were winners. The cauliflower was both crispy and spicy with a delicious cabbage in it. The potatoes were huge, but savory. There was some kind of cheese bread, v good. Overall highly recommend.“

“Bayou wine is a staple and my friend groups hang out rotation. It's always so chill even when there's a crowd. How enjoyable it is to be out in the fresh air courtyard during the day or later evening, sipping my wine or frosè under the twinkle string lights. I especially enjoy visiting during crawfish season. The crawfish is always so good! On a nice weather day, it's really hard to beat the vibes at Bayou Wine. Other food items I enjoy is the mussels & garlic parm fries, boudin balls and fish and chips. I plan to get a charcuterie board next time I visit (after the crawfish). Parking can be frustrating in this area and the streets are pretty terrible so just be conscious of that. There is a parking lot across from Bayou wine- it's usually packed.“
“Stopped infor the first time yesterday and couldn't believe what I have been missing! I had the BEST Bloody Mary I've had in years, and the frozen concoction they were serving tasted like heaven. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.“

“Extremly friendly staff! I visited this restaurant on 10/9/22 on a late night about 2 am.. I thought this bar sold food, I was extremely hungry, but only had drinks. I wish I would of got the two friendly waitresses name. Thank y’all! We will be back.“
“Cask is a nice little bar in Lakeview right near the cemeteries. It's got a little bit of a higher-end selection of liquor than the Bulldog or Parlays. The server when I went was super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is a little more upscale, but the arrangement of the tables is a little weird. I feel like they're a little confused about what they want to be, but it's a nice little space.“

“Had dinner here on a Monday night. The kitchen was out of several items and the beer selection was down to just two options. While it didn't look like much from the outside, I was absolutely blown away by the food! The chef here takes their craft seriously and you can tell immediately after you take the first bite. The shrimp were simply some of the best I've ever had in New Orleans and the fried ribs are a must if it's your first time. I'll definitely come back here and try the catfish and the wings as well, as it seems like they're particularly proud of those dishes.Really loved the service and the vibe inside as well, the DJ played some great tunes and the bartender went above and beyond to make sure my lady and I had a great experience. “So glad I finally tried this Mexican spot! My Yelp BFF and I love Mexican food and this place has been on our list for some time now. Very cute vibe and a nice ambiance. Love that they have indoor and outdoor seating, perfect place to hang when the weather is nice. You order your food and drinks at the bar and they will bring it you. I ordered the house margarita, elote (corn), fish taco and a birria taco. The wait was not long and the service was great. The House margarita was just ok, it got the job done though. All of my food was good but the standout was the fish taco. That was the best fish taco I've ever had, and I've had plenty of fish tacos lol. It was made from red fish and seasoned to perfection! I will definitely be back soon. Great location on Tchoupitoulas but there is not a parking lot and very few spots in front the building so be prepared to park on a side street.“
