“First hands down shortstop is #1 in po-boys i guarantee it beings that it's the longest place I've eaten my po-boys beings my grandparents lived i grew up 4809 Eagle st one block over I remember my mom and Dem sending me there to make groceries before they were a football shot they were a grocery store they did sandwiches in the back are on the side but then they went to all po-boys can't say I blame them best in the city and surrounding area they're good in quality quantity hospitality and service but let me just say this the people in there are sweet and kind is going to be and most respectful give them the utmost please and yes sometimes you'll catch one who may have a slight attitude but just know there's nothing towards you and it's nothing personal 2 minutes later they'll be the sweetest soul there is you got to understand that human too yeah but that's very rare short stop is apart of the city I don't know how my life would have been without them seriously there not just a restaurant they treat you like family especially if you are a regular and always come in there oh and I say this for me and most of everybody I know that goes there this is for the tourist and those who have never really been there you can not have a shortstop poor boy without a barques root beer I guarantee you and da family will pass a good time oh and yes I wanted to add it is a very family orientated and family environment again with all due respect is mind your manners and you will fall In love enjoy chef Mac“

“If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Upon entry the staff is extremely welcoming, warm hearted and kind!! I was having a pregnancy craving for a homemade burger at 930am and stumbled upon this gem on the westbank. And this was by far one of thee best burgers I’ve ever had in my life! Baby was satisfied and dancing in my belly while I ate lol! I loved everything about this place, hospitality and staff, and the food! They even gave us a sample of their famous “Weenie Sandwich” which my 4 year old loveeee with an added touch of French fries ! Thank yall so much, I’ll definitely be a forever customer !“

“Under new ownership. Same menu, different faces. Tastes the same tbh but the service can use improvement. All the same equipment but a new, far more convenient point of sale card machine. The fountain drink machine needs to be calibrated, there waa way more soda water rather than syrup. All minor inconveniences that im sure will be remedied. I am hopeful these guys can live up to the legacy of the nice couple that ran this place as long as I can remember. I'll check back in a few months.“

Our catering order was a hit - we got the Big Luca, a delicious Caesar, veggie tray and the chips!! The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone loved it. “My first time visiting a Jersey Mike’s. The Elmwood staff was polite and playful. Based on their suggestion, I ordered 2 “Big Kahunas” grilled onions and beef, cheese and peppers. (One for me and a co-worker) Wow… it was perfect! Being from New Orleans, we’ve had our share of delicious Po-Boys… This may be my new, favorite sandwich! 🤩“

Prices are rising for everyone and the coupons are beneficial to consumers who eat at your location. The coupons even reflected the increase in prices.If a decision was to be made to stop taking coupons, it could have been considered after the expiration date on the coupon. This at least let's consumers know your location no longer accepts them after the date on the coupon.“

“I frequented McAllisters deli about 25 years ago when I was a kid. Apparently my parents really enjoyed it as I recall the large club sandwiches and the spuds.

Today when I saw tmobiles free offer, I placed an order online for a club on wheat, club on white, and a Rueben for 12 pm.

I arrived at 1155am and was greeted when I walked in the door which set the expectation for fantastic service and makes the customer feel appreciated! Walked to the take out area and a friendly female began assisting me. She retrieved my order and thanked me for the business.

For the food, the wheat club looked (for someone else) fantastic. Also, my Rueben was delicious and I would definitely order again. It was piled high with soft rye and delicious sauce. The potato salad was a nice portion and had a good taste. However, I was disappointed that changing the wheat club to country white was seemingly like a regular sandwich. As in, it wasn’t toasted and it was not cut into 4 triangles like the traditional club. I’m unsure if I clicked something wrong, if they made a mistake, or if that’s simply the way it comes.

“Work across the street and grab a sandwich maybe twice a month and sometimes will run across the street for a quick cup of water. They are always kind and know how to make a sandwich. Clean, fast, and friendly. There’s two ladies who work there if you see one of em when you go in, game over 10/10 sandwich“

“Parking is horrible, but not much they can do for where they are located. Store does a good job, but manager needs to catch up with the rest of Subway. I ate the Rib Sandwich on July 1 that has been advertised at other New Orleans Subways since June. Went here on July 13th for supper and they had not even heard of it yet. It is the Subway sandwich for July and July is almost over. You are the closest location to where I live so please get with the program. Thanks.“

“I went to the one on Vets. Parking is not ideal but hey, you should be in and out, so no biggie. I got a toasted sub, but they were running late on my order, so I think they pulled it early because it was slightly warm, but not melted and definitely not toasted. I thought the Italian one came with shaved parm and provolone, but all I had was a bunch of meat. I was hungry, and it's usually not my experience so I'm gonna give them a pass. The one on Poydras is amazing, but it's pricier. Worth it.“
