“First hands down shortstop is #1 in po-boys i guarantee it beings that it's the longest place I've eaten my po-boys beings my grandparents lived i grew up 4809 Eagle st one block over I remember my mom and Dem sending me there to make groceries before they were a football shot they were a grocery store they did sandwiches in the back are on the side but then they went to all po-boys can't say I blame them best in the city and surrounding area they're good in quality quantity hospitality and service but let me just say this the people in there are sweet and kind is going to be and most respectful give them the utmost please and yes sometimes you'll catch one who may have a slight attitude but just know there's nothing towards you and it's nothing personal 2 minutes later they'll be the sweetest soul there is you got to understand that human too yeah but that's very rare short stop is apart of the city I don't know how my life would have been without them seriously there not just a restaurant they treat you like family especially if you are a regular and always come in there oh and I say this for me and most of everybody I know that goes there this is for the tourist and those who have never really been there you can not have a shortstop poor boy without a barques root beer I guarantee you and da family will pass a good time oh and yes I wanted to add it is a very family orientated and family environment again with all due respect is mind your manners and you will fall In love enjoy chef Mac“

“Under new ownership. Same menu, different faces. Tastes the same tbh but the service can use improvement. All the same equipment but a new, far more convenient point of sale card machine. The fountain drink machine needs to be calibrated, there waa way more soda water rather than syrup. All minor inconveniences that im sure will be remedied. I am hopeful these guys can live up to the legacy of the nice couple that ran this place as long as I can remember. I'll check back in a few months.“

I had a wonderful experience at Chicken Salad Chick! I ordered the Chicken Salad Melt with pimento cheese salad and grape salad as sides, and everything was absolutely delicious. My meal also came with crackers, a pickle, and a cookie—which was a nice surprise.

What really stood out was the customer service. There was a small question about how I wanted my sandwich prepared (since I ordered online), and they actually called to confirm instead of guessing. The tragedy is that I only ate half and the other half was poached by one of our drunk friends.

Prices are rising for everyone and the coupons are beneficial to consumers who eat at your location. The coupons even reflected the increase in prices.If a decision was to be made to stop taking coupons, it could have been considered after the expiration date on the coupon. This at least let's consumers know your location no longer accepts them after the date on the coupon.“

“We were so happy to see a second McAlister's open! The first time we visited we enjoyed the food and service so much. This visit was just as pleasant. The staff here were so nice and accommodating. We needed hot sauce, but since we were traveling, they put some in a cup for us and wrapped it up so it wouldn't spill. I can't eat onion, so they were able to make my sandwich without the black bean relish which normally comes on the spicy southwest chicken sandwich. Our food was delicious and filling, so I highly recommend!“

Now I don't know if this is just how Jimmy John's does it or if it was just my sandwich but it was cold so if cold isn't your thing don't come here. “For those reading the comments on this, use my comment as a reference to judge this amazing place. I’ve both been a customer here and worked here for a period of time as well and I can say this much. The owner is one of the best people I’ve ever worked with as a boss. She doesn’t cut corners, she focuses more on high quality services and food, she’s always on top of her game, extremely hard working and efficient, knows how to run her business and what she wants. And she’s extremely fair to her employees, rewards and punishment come equally depending on your actions not her feelings. People also need to remember that not everything is the owner’s fault. There’s only so much control she can have over her employees and in that she does a decent job. The food quality is very high. She’s the kind of person that would rather throw out an entire pan of food if she sees the slightest sign of spoilage despite the loss rather than scoop the bad parts out to avoid making a loss. She doesn’t mind taking major losses if it means the customer gets good healthy food and is satisfied. We also need to remember that employees are still people not robots. A lot of them work double shifts. Some even open and close the store every week if they have to. She discourages it usually because like I said she’s fair and a very good boss and cares about her employees. But i also knew some co workers, I myself had to do it sometimes, who begged her for more hours because they badly needed the money. So imagine someone who has worked from the store opening, dealt with all kinds of customers good, bad, polite, rude, angry e.t.c. Didn’t even have lunch because she’s too busy serving customers and doing everything she’s meant to in the back. And then 5 - 10 minutes till her closing time when she’s cleaned the bathroom and other places and you walk in and say give me 3-5 footlong sandwiches. True she’s being paid to provide good service and should always provide it no matter what but again employees are not robots they are humans who have their own emotions. Especially for those who come in towards closing period within 10 minutes of closing. You need to be mentally prepared that the employee might not have had the best day and you might not get the best service especially with the time you’re coming in and that is not the owner’s fault. There’s only so much control she has over her employees and even when incidents like that happen, she deals with them so thoroughly that the employee will never want to repeat such a mistake. All in all, this is one of the best fast food places to go to in New Orleans. It ranks at the top in terms of hygiene, food quality, customer service and reliability.“
