“This restaurant is a must stop EVERY time I’m in town visiting family. My Lawd I always get the shrimp sandwich on bun but I got the hot sausage patties po-boy as well this time. Also grabbed a pound of shrimp and a pound of crawfish. I know I was being big eyed because I was hungry but I didn’t regret it because everything was good, per usual. My mom tasted the crawfish and looovvveeed the favor. I got the regular spice level and she said it was just right, not too spicy. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend.“

“Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress barely stopped by to check on us. The food was fantastic. The charbroiled oysters were plump and meaty. The gumbo and coleslaw were both very flavorful. And the fried fish dinner was also fantastic. Is the service was anywhere near the quality of the food I would recommend 100%.“

Went with the grits bowl and it was the BEST grits I've ever had, complete with sauteed veggies, fried eggs, and crispy bacon. Also, the fresh juice was delicious. We already expected great food, but what we got was an experience we’ll never forget. My son got to meet the musician’s brother, who manages the restaurant, and he even came out to take a picture with us. My son was thrilled. “Best brewery I have ever been to with some of the best beers I've ever consumed. The Rubus Cubed was the best sour that has ever passed my lips. This place really ruined other breweries for me. Constant fun free events, great beer, excellent food pop-ups, beautiful patio of tropical plants and disco balls, and even a Nintendo 64 set up with mario kart. Glorious. The owners are lovely people, too“

“Love the bagels love the food love the location. The vegan eat lox bagel is amazing! As is the harvest Moon. Their bagels are the right amount of chewy. If you're going on a weekend go early because they do sell out of most of their bagels by the end of the day. Oh if you like tahini, they have this wonderful tahini brownie like things that are delicious.“

“Worth the relatively short trip from the busy NOLA scene aboard the RTA ferry (ride it and the red and green trolleys for $3/day?!). Quaint and VERY quiet neighborhood walk for about 10 mins. is worth it for a welcome siesta.
