“This restaurant is a must stop EVERY time I’m in town visiting family. My Lawd I always get the shrimp sandwich on bun but I got the hot sausage patties po-boy as well this time. Also grabbed a pound of shrimp and a pound of crawfish. I know I was being big eyed because I was hungry but I didn’t regret it because everything was good, per usual. My mom tasted the crawfish and looovvveeed the favor. I got the regular spice level and she said it was just right, not too spicy. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend.“

I think I lived on wedge salads and the French onion soup. The staff was so nice and accommodating to us. Sitting and chatting when the afternoons were slower. “A friendly local joint. The personable bartender served tasty beverages and conversation about the history of the bar, including the celebrities and movie productions that have been in the bar. Spent an hour and was inspired to daydream about living in the area and have this be the bar where everyone knows my name. If you need a break from the city, this is it.“

“I’ve been to Barracuda on Tchoup before a few years back and I wasn’t impressed at all. But this time around in Algiers the food is incredible so good I had to comeback within 2 days. The Broccoli taco is superb, it’s juicy, well seasoned, and vegetarian friendly. Definitely something for everyone!“

My dad lived in Germany for 8 years in the 70s, and was excited to see a place that served the food and beer he missed so much. A plus was the outside seating and the beautiful day.
