“Stumbled upon this little gem of an Italian restaurant in Sulpher while driving back to Texas and what a treat it was. Restaurant and restrooms were very clean, music stays in the background (like it should), food was delicious. I believe it only took like 15 minutes to get a chicken parm and a chicken piccata to our table and it was a little busy in there but the kitchen was obviously there to work. Our server, Charlene (I hope I spelled your name correctly) was gracious and very helpful. We will visit again!“

“My wife and daughter and I went to Luna's yesterday, as my wife grew up in Lake Charles and said that Luna's was THE local hangout when she was growing up. With good reason, I found out. The restaurant was a delight. The food was amazing (I had a fantastic hamburger and a really good salad), and the atmosphere made me smile (all around us, throwback posters and paintings from 80s music and 90s movies). Plus the wait staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a good restaurant to do dinner with family and friends, this is the place to go.“

“We love Victoria’s and go there every time we are in Lake Charles. Never had this problem before but today music volume was turned up to the max. It was way too loud!! I had to stuff napkin in my ears or go eat in truck. I went for stuffing pieces of napkin. Why was music blasting??“

“The Ember Team was wonderful. I enjoyed a solo experience on a slow Sunday evening. Nicole gave me a tour of table options then provided outstanding service in a large comfortable booth. I appreciated the recommendations, environment with soft instrumental music, and fire in the background. Food was prepared perfectly. Fried green tomatoes were my favorite. I will definitely come back if given the chance.“

“******Highly Recommend ****^ My 87 year old mother, my sister in law and I had lunch at Augustine’s today at their grand opening. The lunch was fantastic! We started with delicious appetizers-crab claws in butter, onion soup, and truffle fries with Parmesan cheese. Absolutely delicious. We then enjoyed the fried oyster salad with cornbread bread crumbs (yummy!) and the chicken flatbread with balsamic vinegar and I think honey. You had to roll us out of the door as we ate every bite! I really encourage Lake Charles to support this new, locally owned and operated restaurant in downtown Lake Charles!!! Mary Shaddock Jones“

“Tonight we enjoyed our dinner at El Paso Grill! My husband had Steak Fajitas and said they were top-notch and some of the best he could remember. My Steak Chimichanga was really good too! 2 for 1 margaritas topped off our meal! Marlon was singing and was very pleasant and we could still visit while eating. Thumbs up El Paso Mexican Grill!“

I didn't care for the smell of the facility.It was like an old casino smell that didn't quite cover up the cigarette smoke. There is a casino connected to the restaurant btw. But other than that, I had a great experience. ☺️“

“It is always so unbearably cold in there. We bring sweaters etc, but last night I shivered through my meal being unable to enjoy it. And the waiter was rushing us through the meal. Arrived at 515p out by 540p. The food is always delicious but the atmosphere killed it. Very fast loud music, difficult to hold a conversation at the table.“

“Items were fried and seasoned well. Longer wait time than I expected, but everything was fried to order so that was a plus. I asked if the fish was catfish and was told that yes it was by the employee at the window. It is very obvious that it was NOT catfish. That’s disappointing. In fact I believe there is a Louisiana law that’s requires restaurants to post and provide identification and origin seafood. I also find irony in the restaurant’s name and logo that implies catfish, yet doesn’t serve it.“

“Quick lunch stop. Prices are really good. You get plenty to fill you up, and the flavor was good. The fried rice was a little bland, but mix it with the broccoli chicken, it is better. Restaurant is very clean and waiter was so nice and attentive. Might try something different next time.“

“Raja’s donated lunch for teachers at Dolby Elementary on Friday. I’m not an adventurous foodie, so I’ve never tried Indian food. I had butter chicken, rice, and naan bread. It was SO delicious that my husband and I ordered more today. Still just as yummy! We will definitely be back!“

“I have a dairy food allergy, Chef Benny and his staff made sure that my meal was safe for me to enjoy! My steak was perfect, they cooked my sides completely separate so that nothing was cross contaminated. I am beyond grateful to have had such a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend. “My husband introduced me to this place this evening and man! My new favorite spot! It was so good! We both got the orange chicken with rice and egg roll! Cooked fresh to order, so much food for your money, and such a great taste! Food was ready quickly. Friendly staff! 10/10 recommend!“
