“Not variety of options for vegetarian people, but my non veg friends loved their foods! The fried rice is just average.

Editing after been here tens of times, this is my favorite Thai place around. Their thai tea- oh wow, super. Khao soi and drunken noodles are my favorite. Fried rice is my go-to option for Thai cuisine, and theirs isn't just as good as their other items mentioned above.

They make you wait until the full group has arrived, so prep if you don't want to wait in the cold.“

“Very welcoming. I got there about an hour before closing so I picked my food quickly. I had the Creamy Tum Yum and added a little chili oil to it for some spice. It is a great dish for someone who wants flavor with little to no heat. There was plenty of pork and two shrimp tails. I also had the Thai Tea which from the picture in the menu I was worried was a premade mix. Instead it came out fresh and required me to swirl it around to blend the cream. Perfect flavor and temperature. Not overly sweet like some places make it.

The atmosphere was laid back with some cool art work on the walls. Definitely gave a college town feel. The bathroom could use some work. It wasn't scary. It was clean and well stocked but it is definitely on the back burner when it comes to decorating.

I'm surprised they don't have merchandise. Their logo would be a cool patch on a hat. Seems like most restaurants are doing this now and I'm here for it. Better than buying shot glasses.

“The food is amazing! I totally forgot the name of the dish but the pork with noodle dish with the fried rangoon was amazing def recommend 🍜. Crispy chicken basil is also good and I recommend it with the sticky rice 🍚. The Hor Mok (salmon, shrimp, etc. curry inside a coconut 🥥) is pretty good too! The mango sticky rice is a go-to dessert 🥭“

“Food and service here are amazing. The food here is cooked by a lovely Taiwanese ahma so it is clearly authentic Taiwanese food! This makes me miss the food at home. 非常道地又好吃 yummyyyy. “My partner and I came here on Valentine’s Day with pretty high expectations based on the great reviews and how new/trendy it looked. While the food and service overall were good, there is plenty of room for improvement. The menu is pretty small and limited which I was not expecting based on it being an Asian fusion place. We ordered the Pork Egg Rolls, Shishito Peppers, Pork Gyoza Dumplings, Garlic Edamame, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Chef’s House Fried Rice to share. When we gave the order, our waitress said those were amazing choices and we wouldn’t be disappointed. The pork egg rolls were solid, nothing special and lacking flavor in my opinion. Especially for the price, I wouldn’t order them again. The shishito peppers were good, with a nice salty citrusy flavor, but no dipping sauce. I would recommend them. The pork gyoza dumplings were similar to the egg rolls in that they were solid but lacked flavor. I felt like I could make better ones at home, no sauce with these either other than the sauce on top. The edamame was very disappointing. I am not picky at all, but they were overcooked and soggy, and completely wet from the sauce. They were literally hard to eat because when you put them in your mouth they fall apart and you can’t separate the beans from the shell, causing you to have to pull out the shell from your mouth. Not pleasant. We ate some but gave up on finishing them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The spicy tuna roll was OUTSTANDING. We eat a lot of sushi and we HIGHLY recommend the tuna roll. The pork fried rice was good, a lot of ingredients which I liked but it also could have used more flavor. It felt like it was missing something. It also weirdly came with a sauce which was good, but why do you need sauce for fried rice? For drinks we ordered the Japanese sour (solid), the lychee mojito (good), the yuzu martini (I loved it, my partner was meh) and the valentine drink special which was also good. The service was good, the waitress checked in on us like 5 times while our food was coming out but then when we actually wanted to order the second drink round, it took her a while to come back. The water-filler-upper was on his game, filling up our water the second it got halfway empty 😂. They gave us chocolate covered strawberries on the house for Valentine’s Day which was nice. I wish they had more sushi options, as I would like to come back to try those and the other items on the menu we didn’t order. Also, the vibe was great. The interior is very cool!“

“It’s a tiny place with a line of seating facing the wall and a few more facing the window/street. Stoves where the noodles are cooked are right next to the seats. There are two self order screens for customers to place orders, so the servers can be spared from taking orders— they are too busy. They are short with servers so there’s a bit wait for the food and for them to clean the tables. Everything is crowded. Also You have to go through the back kitchen prep area to get to the bathroom which is clean. But the food is great. Had hand pulled noodles with lamb, sour soup hand pulled noodles and pork Chinese burger 肉夹馍 all good! 肉夹馍has decent amount of meat.“

“This restaurant is so good, it is my first time here and I am impressed. The flavor is very authentic Asian, my favorite was the mango crispy duck and the pai thai. The pai tai tastes sweet and sour, the flavor is clean and refreshing. The duck is tender, the skin is crispy, and the sauce is similar to curry, and there is only a hint of spicy. I also like the fried chicken, it is crispy and juicy, and the sweet and spicy sauce just add a perfect layer of the taste. The curry were also really good, we had red curry with beef and green curry with seafood. I didn’t try the red curry but my friend love it. And my green curry is a definite recommendation, the seafood with curry taste perfect, there is a hint of spicy although it was mild. We had Ice Thai tea, both regular and green tea ones. And I love the green tea one, it is new. The service was really good, love it.“

“It was Ladies' night for us, and we popped into Banyan. We love the décor, atmosphere, drinks. We instantly loved Jimmy who gave us the warmest welcome like we were old friends. We ended our night in Banyan and are eager to go back for a meal!“

Shared it all between two people and took home all leftovers, and I can’t believe I’m writing this but NO complaints. I have a hard time with beef/chicken often tasting a little gamey or subtly foul at other restaurants. It’s something that with enough seasoning, I don’t think most pick up on because I’ve usually been alone in that observation. However, the meat was clearly clean, seasoned with ginger which helped enhance all the other flavors, and then the beef with broccoli sauce. It was just amazing.

Parking: You’ll usually find street parking, might take a loop at most but if you’re having trouble, park at the paid parking lot off Walnut Street and walk 2 blocks.“

“Very decent Chinese restaurant. About as good as you’ll get in Boston. The pork fried rice is excellent, with generous meat and great consistency. Salt and pepper ribs are solid, string beans are as you would expect with nice heat. The Shanghai noodles were pretty good but I preferred the other items on the menu. “Beautiful dining room. I ordered take out this evening using the Toast App. I mistakenly added a $500 tip instead of a $5 tip because the order went through too fast. I called and explained what happened. The manager called me right back and assured me that he would fix it before closing out. He was so kind, even though they were busy. “Fusion Taste is a great spot to enjoy solid Chinese food, a huge sushi bar, or grab a drink at the full bar. There’s table service and the bar can provide beer, wine, and a variety of Asian cocktails or traditional cocktails. You will not be disappointed. I would recommend a visit or even takeout!

“It’s an authentic family owned Cantonese restaurant and they speak canton. The clay pot and house chicken are great. The young couple are nice and give wonderful service. The dining area is small but clean. The food price is very reasonable and food portion is large.

Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

“This little cafe/restaurant is nestled in an alley next to a general store, it gives speakeasy vibes. The place is small, but clean and welcoming. I want to say it’s family owned, but I am not sure.

Their menu has breakfast/lunch/dinner options, plenty of options for vegetarians as well. We started with some scallion pancakes, they were crisp and delicious.

We ordered their drunken noodles with vegetables and basil fried rice 🍚 with egg and tofu. Their noodles 🍝 were saucy( I like when they are not dry, so I loved it) it also had the perfect level of spices, lots of veggies like broccoli 🥦 🫑 🍄‍🟫 🧅 🥕

The basil fried rice was okay, I have had better basil fried rice for sure. The taste was good, but I had higher expectations.

The Thai cold coffee🧋was the highlight of our meal. It was so perfect, that I would have had another glass. Strong coffee with low sugar, just how I like it.

The noodles were also quite good even though I got a delivery and so they couldn't serve the noodles in the broth, I had to add it myself after reheating it.
