“We loved the variety of the banchan and they paired great with the fresh bbq meats! The tteokbokki and seafood pancake were also amazing appetizers. Most importantly, they took the sesame allergy in our party very seriously!

Food: I loved the more authentic flavors all around! I’m disappointed by the recent trend towards sweetness in Korean food so I’m really excited to have moved so close to Koreana. The meat was very high quality but I really really liked the tteokbokki and seafood pancake. The pancake was so crispy and fluffy, while the rice cake was nicely spicy and chewy.

Service: The staff was super kind and accommodating to our sesame allergy. They were very informative and gave concrete answers on the allergens. They all cooked the meats perfectly!

Atmosphere: I think this restaurant has a cozy/homely feel. The decoration is more laid back so it’d be great for a group for a celebration or afternoon drinks. The lunch menu also makes it an affordable lunch stop!“

“Came in on a weekday for lunch. Ordered Lunch Course ($27/person) with Set C meat and garlic spanish + fried dumplings and ice cream, together with 3 2--BBQ-items lunch combo ($14.95/each). There are parking garage nearby with plenty of space. The restaurant is big and have all the same chain quality of this restraint chains. The grill was not oiled and the first set of meats kept sticked to the metal grill, which is very unpleasant experience. However, one thing that is more disappointed is that they don't have green tea ice cream, one of the main reasons I ordered lunch course. This is not quite acceptable for a Japanese restaurant. They can only offered vanilla ice cream; however, the top was freezer burned. That put a bitter end to this visit, unfortunately.“

“Decided to go out for dinner with a few friends and it was delicious. I liked the citrus dressing on the avocado salad. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. For dessert, green tea ice cream is a must!“

“The pulled pork was very flavorful, no sauce necessary. The ribs pulled off the bone with ease and were yummy! The mac 'n cheese was very cheesy and cooked well. The presentation was excellent, especially for a BBQ joint. So here's where the 4 comes in. The sweet and spicy cole slaw is actually too spicy for generic white people (like me), but maybe I'm not the audience. I'd have been okay with that except the wait staff told me it was not spicy. Additionally, the corn bread was dry. The caramelized banana pudding taste no different than banana pudding, so don't expect more than that. Don't get me wrong. I could have two servings! Wait staff was so on the ball! Ambiance was classier than a typical BBQ joint, but not obnoxious. Bathroom was clean. Plenty of parking. Easy access from the road and highway. Overall, would eat there again.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“We stopped in just before 5pm on a Saturday and thankfully we did because the place got busy quickly. There was plenty of staff working to handle the night. One of us ordered a 2 meat tray with brisket & pork belly. The chosen sides were basement potato salad and Mac & cheese. The other ordered a pulled pork tray. Sides were coleslaw and Mac & cheese. Both had sweet tea and shared a bucket of biscuits w honey butter. The best part was the pulled pork. It was wicked moist and flavorful. I feel the brisket was a bit dry, but there are 3 sauces on the side. We loved the biscuits with honey butter and the Mac & cheese was good. Our meal came to about $77, before tip. The staff are mostly efficient but our waiter could have been better. He didn't ask what we wanted to drink when he greeted us, he wasn't very personable in comparison to another waiter who gave very detailed descriptions of the specials when speaking to a table next to us. We asked for a sweet tea refill and didn't get it. Seemed sporadic, but not new. We'd go back though to try it again.“

“I love coming here! My finance always bring me here for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, and today he surprised me with my fav spot. The meat are always served in good cut and high quality. I did the $40 premium meat and it was so worth it especially the galbi. My daughter tagged along and is a picky eater but she loved everything especially the pork belly“

“The food was great and the quality of meat was good. They also had several banchan available that was self-serve. Service was great - the food came out very quickly and they constantly changed the grill without us asking.

We were put in a private room (with one other table) which was nice since it was quieter. They also had an odor eliminator spray, hair ties, and other items at the front of the restaurant, which is considerate of them. Unfortunately, I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I'd come back again!“

“Friendship BBQ is a Chinese skewer restaurant located right outside of Packard's Corner.

Staff are friendly and explain the process well. They're very knowledgeable on recommendations and can help whenever needed.

The food is good. We got a wide variety of skewers, as well as a few appetizers. The skewers were flavorful, not too gamey but of a good and consistent quality. The price is a bit high for the portions they give, but not too outrageous.“

“This is the best churrascaria in the area. Every time I eat here, the meats are cooked perfect, their feijoada is incredible, and the caipirinhas are always good. It may be a small restaurant, but it’s everything you’re looking for in a Brazilian churrasco. I’ve enjoyed the food each time I’ve gone here. “It might sound strange to some, but I want to thank SGD for having some of the best rice in the area. A lot of restaurants go for cheaper rice options to save on costs. SGD using better quality rice really does elevate the meal, and helps it stand out among other Asian dining options. Thank you for this attention to detail!

“I have been going to M&M BBQ since they had a food truck on Colombia road and Geneva st since 1999 they are hands down my favorite bbq joint their sauce is so good that I told my wife if I die just pour some in my mouth and I will come back to life there is no words to describe how great the food the service everything is perfect the corn bread delicious potatoes salad to die for and the ribs even the chicken I am not a chicken guy but my god you put that sauce on anything and I will eat it I hope you guys try it you won't regret it“

“first time eating at K-Town after work in a Friday, absolutely amazing food, everything I expected it was. good food, amazing music (BTS!!!!!!), absolutely amazingly polite, helpful, personable staff, huge variety of meat and seafood to BBQ. the service is impeccable, the served really care about the experience you have. every single server came by to help us, talk with us, and check on us. I can’t wait to come back, this may be my new favorite place. 1000 stars“
