“Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. “I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!“

“Great food but lately El Jefe's is taking a hit on bad reviews due to @GrubHub's poor ordering system with algorithm issues which I have brought to their attention, and seems they still haven't fixed since I placed an order months prior. On 3 separate occasions on the same date and time I received my order incorrect. When I compared the order from my GrubHub account against the receipt received from El Jefe's, it was determined I was missing many items from my burrito bowl. I contacted GrubHub in which they kept refunding me, and I also mentioned the issue. I ordered El Jefe's 2 more times and the same error occurred both times. I could see once they mess up the order due to reading it wrong but not 3x. El Jefe's only puts an order together based on the ordering slips they receive from GrubHub, so if something is off with GrubHub's ordering system that is what the restaurant is receiving and thus creating the order from. As much as these food delivery services are ripping off these restaurants, they got a nerve to make the restaurant take accountability for their mess ups and ordering errors. They're already scamming these vendors out of $$$ and continue to affect these companies in a negative manner. Time for these vendors to go back to the old delivery ways and cut the greedy middle man! These good delivery services are a total rip off with their high fees, whacked discounts that don't add up, and lack of customer service.“

“We enjoyed our meal at Judy’s Bay. We got the scallop crudo, the gochujang mussels (great flavors), the lobster roe pasta (good), the oyster mushrooms (relatively plain), and the stuffed hake (very good). For the price, I would have expected the dishes to be a little more complex. We were a group of three and it was a full but light meal, and we paid about $55 per person including tip. The servers were very good - they gave unhurried advice on the menu, they were unobtrusive when refilling our water glasses, and they always preemptively brought clean dishes when we needed them.“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. “My friends and I came in for dinner on a Tuesday night and had a fantastic experience. First and foremost, our server, Davis, was amazing!

Not only was he super friendly and fun to talk to but he also suggested some things for the table that ended up being the favorite of the evening amongst the group. Truly great food experience made even better by great hospitality from him!

“This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. “My family had a wonderful dinner at Mae’s last night. The service was efficient, attentive without being obtrusive and warm. The food was excellent, flavorful, balanced, light. We had number of dishes…pork gyoza (we went back for 2nds on this one), spring rolls, basil fried rice (nice spice level…maybe a little more oil than needed), ma po tofu, general Tso’s Thai chicken, and pad Thai (the star of the show). “Must be the Best Bar/Restaurant/Tavern in Cambridge. Beer is cheap and Burgers are great, also love the shredded brusselsprouts.
It is here I discovered my love for Narragansett Beers, especially the Shandy.

“I only had the opportunity to have a single drink here. It was an old fashioned, which is so eady to make, but still usually screwed up. This was definitely a very good one, almost worth the ~$19 price. I will be back.

But speaking of backs, none of the seats have them -- those of us with back problems can't sit comfortably for long. Hence the three stars instead of five on atmosphere.“

The thai food here was SO good and SO affordable! Portions were really generous.

Overall it was very fast and attentive upon seating. However, the wait to be seated took quite a long time despite being 3rd in line, and when it said that our table was ready online, we still had to wait another 15 minutes. Totally understandable though since it was a Saturday night, just reflecting on personal experience.

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. I've been going to this location for quite some time now, and it never disappoints.

I always look forward to going because of the consistency of the flavor, atmosphere, and the great customer service that is provided amongst the entire staff.

I would like to single out three ladies that always go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to the best standards. These ladies are Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna. They always have a smile on their face, are extremely kind and attentive. They make the experience always enjoyable for myself and my friends/family. It's always a wonderful restaurant experience and with them it feels like I'm visiting family for dinner with their warm welcoming back.

I really appreciate that level of service that Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna always provide. I always look forward to seeing them, and they are a great asset to Happy Lamb in Cambridge.

“We love bagelsaurus! You certainly have the market for bagels in this area. Others just don’t compare. Best bagel sandwiches. Please bring back online preordering for sandwiches on weekends. Online ordering was time efficient for everyone and child friendly in a location that is generally very child unfriendly.“
