“This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. Even the tea was good. Bathroom was clean. Food was fresh. And try the thousand layers honey cake. I think everyone will find something to like here. If I am ever in Providence, I will 💯 go again.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“Happy Lamb in Cambridge is my preferred location in Massachusetts.

I've been going to this location for quite some time now, and it never disappoints.

I always look forward to going because of the consistency of the flavor, atmosphere, and the great customer service that is provided amongst the entire staff.

I would like to single out three ladies that always go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to the best standards. These ladies are Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna. They always have a smile on their face, are extremely kind and attentive. They make the experience always enjoyable for myself and my friends/family. It's always a wonderful restaurant experience and with them it feels like I'm visiting family for dinner with their warm welcoming back.

I really appreciate that level of service that Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna always provide. I always look forward to seeing them, and they are a great asset to Happy Lamb in Cambridge.

“Toscanini's has been my favorite ice cream spot for over 20 years. Even as I've moved around and lived in other cities, I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in the Boston area. But a recent experience cemented my loyalty for life.

On Presidents' Day, our family showed up around 5 pm, not realizing the shop was closed for the holiday. When we couldn't open the door, we started knocking, thinking it was just stuck. Gus, the owner, came out and let us know they were closed for the day, but then asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were hoping to grab a pint, and he told us to wait just a moment. A few minutes later, he came back with a big bag full of different pints and let us walk away with two of them, suggesting we could come back and pay another day when they were actually open (or perhaps he didn't care!). We came back and paid two weeks later.

“Went there last night after daughter's graduation with her boyfriend's family and her other friends. The bar was loud and very busy as expected but the servers and hosts were kind enough to accommodate us. But it was one particular bartender of Asian origin (I am an Asian myself) who was flustered the entire time we were there and we were not even ordering from her. It was a different bartender who was nice. And when I wanted to close the tab, she asked me something I couldn't hear and when I asked her again, she snapped so viciously, I was aghast. That was beyond rude and more like a criminal behavior towards a patron. I didn’t escalate it and left quickly but this perhaps is a repeat behavior from her and her attitude didn’t seem new. I hope the management/owners take notice of this. The way she behaved and looked flustered the entire time warrants termination, no less. This has nothing to do with the pub, the servers and bartender there are nice, except that one person who shouldn't have been employed.“

“These are excellent cookies! They're fresh and warm when you buy them. They have an extremely wide variety of specialty cookies with different compositions and flavors. The specialty cookies available change regularly so there's a lot of different types to try.“

“A modern take on Mexican food, definitely a bit pricey but if you get the 6 Gallitos for the table not a bad deal since you can probably make about 9 tacos with what they give you. The Sopes were great as well! If you want to try something new give it a try it just might surprise you ✨!“

Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. “A hidden neighborhood gem we discovered while visiting Boston this past weekend. Our hotel was situated in a bit of a no-man’s land that made it difficult to do our usual walking to find good coffee in the AM but I’m glad we persisted. I found the Black Sheep Market after a refusal for settling for DD coffee. This spot was a brisk 10 min walk from our hotel- we got there shortly after doors opened on Sunday and while coffee drew us in we quickly discovered their incredibly solid selection of store made donuts and baked goods. I am going to be dreaming about the Boston Creme donut I left with for some time. Nothing better on the planet when it comes to donuts than that one right there. My husband ordered a cinnamon and sugar donut which he exclaimed melted in his mouth, and for our son who had been studying French- a chocolate croissant- delectable! The coffee - the reason we went at all- was hot, fresh, and delicious. Also warmed our hands on the cold walk back to the hotel for a bonus! The shop itself offered a wide variety of other goods - which we didn’t need that particular morning, but I’d love to have just around the corner if I lived in this Cambridge area neighborhood.

“The cafe is ok, the reason for my review is that now the second time my coffee order was either forgotten or it took the other time 20 minutes to get my cortado. I saw it standing on the counter for 10 minutes so it was already cold. Got though a new one after complaining. So…kind of good service“

While waiting, I stepped back and watched the team at Fresh Boston – Cambridgeside build my sandwich. The cleanliness, care, and attention to detail were immediately obvious. Everything looked organized, fresh, and intentional.

The sandwich itself was packed, fresh, and absolutely worth the price.

“Saw this cafe near Cambridge and decided to try it with some friends 😛✨

. What drew me in initially was the ube tiramisu, which is something I’ve never tried before. It was quite good and the ube flavor prevalent, but the only thing is the cake felt too cakey and not as soaked/moist as a tiramisu typically should be. However, the banh mi was SO good and the meat perfectly flavored. The bread was perfectly toasted and you could hear the slight crispness from biting into it. The Nutella walnut cookie was slightly too hard, which could’ve just been because it was overbaked or stale. However, the matcha was solid!

Service: It was quite packed in the cafe but the workers were so efficient, quick, and nice.

Atmosphere: It was quite hectic and crowded when I went on Saturday around noon. It gives very bustling busy cafe vibes and is the perfect place to chat with friends and study. Lots of windows and sunlight, cramped but abundant seating.

Overall, highly recommend this spot for a casual meetup and/or to get some quick studying done! Food was overall good!“
