“I can't recommend Korean Momma enough! We ordered an OG Burnt Basque Cheesecake for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was honestly the best Basque cheesecake we've ever had. The texture was perfectly creamy and custardy with that beautifully caramelized top, and the flavor was incredible, not overly sweet and just absolutely delicious.

What made the experience even more special was how kind and accommodating Su Jean and Duly were. They were able to make a special order for us outside of their regular drop schedule, which completely surprised my boyfriend and made his birthday so memorable. They even included an extra slice of their chocolate Basque cheesecake, which was such a thoughtful surprise.

If you're looking for a cake outside one of their scheduled drops, I'd absolutely recommend reaching out to ask about a special order. They were wonderful to work with, and the extra effort meant so much to us.“

“We were visiting from out of town and were recommended by a friend to try this cafe out. It was absolutely amazing. The prices were extremely reasonable and the pastries themselves were fantastic. They looked incredible and tasted wonderful. I was able to get a decent London Fog in Boston (which is something I had a hard time finding). I got a coffee bean pastry which had an amazing chocolate/coffee mousse flavor (and texture)! My son got a cinnamon roll which he loved. My other son was having a hard time choosing and the person behind the counter was so sweet and gave him a cream filled pastry that they had extras of. This cafe is high end, but without the high end price tags. If I’m ever in Boston again, I will definitely come back. 1000% would recommend.“

“We were visiting Boston and had heard a lot about Mike’s Pastries, so we decided to give it a try. One of their specialities is cannoli, with pistachio and chocolate chip being the best-sellers and most highly recommended. I opted for the Florentine, though, as it had a slightly different shell.

The Florentine shell is made from a sheet of caramelised almond, which makes it less dry than a traditional cannoli shell. The ricotta cream was delicious, and the combination with the chocolate chips was a real winner.

“Enjoying a delectable grilled turkey sandwich with a bottle of Alain Milliat strawberry juice, I was briefly interrupted by some rain falling (gently but persistently) in the generally delightful outdoor seating area. I brought it inside to resume my meal, now in a notably quiet (just about as though soundproofed) environment, taking into account outside the occasional roadwork as well as the occasional heavy traffic. For that matter, I enjoyed a little more completing that wonderful repast indoors. The relatively little service needed was consistently cheerful and pleasant and professional. I can scarcely wait to try a brioche something next time!“

“Hi Rise Bread Company has become one of my favorite stops at the Copley Square Farmers Market. Their bread is exceptional, and Harri is always so kind and welcoming. Harri actually introduced me to the semolina baguette, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

And watch out for the demi baguette covered in sesame seeds. It is absolutely lethal, in the best possible way! Their sourdough bread is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made, with the kind of crust and texture that makes it very difficult not to start eating it on the way home.

“These are excellent cookies! They're fresh and warm when you buy them. They have an extremely wide variety of specialty cookies with different compositions and flavors. The specialty cookies available change regularly so there's a lot of different types to try.“

“This is a very good cafe right on Harvard square, part of a larger chain for people visiting who haven't seen it before. I enjoy the food at the Tatte chain in general, but the service and atmosphere here make it particularly highly recommended. I really like the pull steak sandwich on Reuban. I've always gotten take out here, which is easy with apps. The workers here got me my orders efficiently and were extremely polite.“

“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. “I was pleasantly surprised by this Paris Baguette in Cambridge! The cakes and pastries all looked amazing, so it was hard to choose. I finally went with the original cheesecake and Swiss roll—both were delicious, light, creamy, and not overly sweet.

The real surprise was the Lavazza coffee. It paired perfectly with the pastries! Great coffee, beautiful pastries, and just the right level of sweetness. Definitely coming back to try more“
