“We were visiting from out of town and were recommended by a friend to try this cafe out. It was absolutely amazing. The prices were extremely reasonable and the pastries themselves were fantastic. They looked incredible and tasted wonderful. I was able to get a decent London Fog in Boston (which is something I had a hard time finding). I got a coffee bean pastry which had an amazing chocolate/coffee mousse flavor (and texture)! My son got a cinnamon roll which he loved. My other son was having a hard time choosing and the person behind the counter was so sweet and gave him a cream filled pastry that they had extras of. This cafe is high end, but without the high end price tags. If I’m ever in Boston again, I will definitely come back. 1000% would recommend.“

“I’ve been meaning to write this overdue review of how much I love the Hi‑Rise Bread Company. Today I finally did because my visit captured exactly how I feel. It’s called Hi‑Rise—not just a bakery that lifts bread, but a place that lifts spirits.

Despite missing my scheduled make-your-own salad because work spiraled out of control, the Hi‑Rise team stayed calm and kind when I called to explain why I missed picking up my order. They even waited for me after hours because I arrived a few minutes after the bakery closed. They didn’t just hand me my salad—they tucked a bag full of cookies, a muffin, and a scone into my order, on the house, enough to feed my whole family.

After a day that felt impossible, that unexpected generosity tasted like pure grace. The baked goods were divine, but it was their kindness that turned a terrible day into a story I’ll tell again and again. Ah—wow! I highly, highly recommend Hi‑Rise Bread Company! “I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it“

“This Tatte location has a shorter menu than other Tatte cafés, and some dishes we wanted—like the Croque Madame and lamb shakshuka—weren’t available. We ordered the regular shakshuka and a breakfast croissant, but honestly the food tasted pretty average and felt a bit below the standard of other locations.
