“Delicious Enmi ramen! First time seeing a citrusy yuzu-based ramen on a menu, and it was yummmy! Our server Justin was also so warm and welcoming, subbing the broth out for a vegan one. And the atmosphere is so cozy and intimate, will be back the next time we're in Boston for sure!“

“Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! A must order is the Tuna Collar - I've never had anything like it - it's huge, great for a crowd, bone-suckingly good (literally have done that) served with rice and nori! Also make sure you don't miss Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparking teas - my favorites are the genmaicha and the hojicha - again I've never tasted a drink like this anywhere else. And then you have to end the night with a Basque Cheesecake - I particularly love when Pagu makes a seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake! Pagu's dishes and drinks are across the board innovative but also welcoming and absolutely delicious!“

“We took a friend out to dinner at Oleana last night for her birthday and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. We loved being able to share and sample so many dishes, and each one was a masterful balancing of herbs, spices and flavors. The service was also top-notch. We can’t wait to return! It’s no surprise that it’s hard to get a reservation.“

“This was one of the finest dining experiences we’ve had. We’ve heard about Giulia for months now, reputed as one of, if not the best Italian restaurant in Massachusetts, which meant we had extremely high expectations going in. Combined with the difficulty of getting a reservation due to the popularity (with many nights waiting at 12am sharp hoping that I refreshed fast enough), and finally we had secured a reservation.

The food is heavenly. We ordered the erbazzone and grilled rosemary flatbread for appetizers, and both were so delicious— especially the erbazzone, which was probably the tastiest appetizer I have tasted. I still crave it as I am writing this, and my girlfriend feels the same way. The flatbread was also amazing, though the erbazzone trumps almost anything from the night.

My girlfriend ordered the vegetarian bucatini, and I ordered their famous wild boar pappardelle. Both pastas were excellent, though not as standout as the appetizers. It was really nice to note that they deducted the price for the vegetarian pasta from 28 (which would include meat) to 18, which we really appreciated.

Finally, we ordered the yogurt panna cotta with beach rose, toasted coconut and winter citrus for dessert. Oh my god, this is the greatest food I have tasted in eons. My girlfriend thinks it’s the best thing she has eaten (and we’re both very judgy with food!). Neither of us had thought we would enjoy anything rose-flavored so much, with the taste recurring with each bit of saliva, slowly dissipating with time. It is as if rose bloomed in our mouth, slowly melted to our tongues, and withered away as we bit away and let it wither. The sweetness gave way for the rose, and the rose enhanced the coconut and yogurt tastes. We should have ordered another one.

Overall, this was probably one of the top three meals in my life, and certainly best in the New England area. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go, and honestly it might even be better to just order their appetizers and desserts without pasta. Their pastas are good, but the appetizers and desserts are on a whole different level. 11/10 experience. Also cute seatings outside on a beautiful afternoon. A shame we forgot to take pictures of the appetizers and desserts because they were SO GOOD. Keep in mind the portion size might be a bit smaller than you would like, but in my opinion it adds to the experience. I hope they get a Michelin recommendation at least, if not a star this year.

“The food, atmosphere and customer service is top tier. It was worth every penny. The food feels like your abuela is in the back cooking with love. The presentation is chic and luxurious. It feels like you were transported to Cuba. You greeted as soon as you walk in and the waitress and waiters go above and beyond to make sure you’re okay. This has to be on my top 5 places to eat in Cambridge. I wish I knew about this place before I graduate. I will be back. The ropa vieja is so good. It’s a traditional dish.“

“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Siagon Babylon and it has easily become one of our favorite Boston restaurants. The plates are small and I recommend getting a couple to share (tapas style). “Their pho salad cured salmon (5/5) was one of my favorite foods from my Boston/Cambridge trip. It was a unique dish that I'd never seen at any Vietnamese restaurant before and it was so good! While toppings were cold and fresh, the noodle was warm and it was delicious. Strongly recommend it!

Turmeric golden latte was just okay (3/5).

Everything is self serve here - you get in line, pay for your food, find yourself a seat, and go grab your food/utensils/water when they call you.“

“Cannot emphasize enough how great Mae Asian Eatery is! We recently stopped in for dinner and would definitely return. The food was fantastic -- a Chinese-Thai fusion that was really yummy. The service was also outstanding. It was super fast (especially impressive considering how busy it was), everyone was very kind, and we got to speak with the owner afterward who told us about the food (the secret to how yummy it is? His wife is the chef!) and the history behind the name. Just an all-around great experience and cool local business we were happy to visit.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. I really appreciate pavement/harvard’s willingness to let folks hang out in their lobby /dining/ seating space, particularly folks who may be experiencing tough times. I’ve chatted with a few strangers in the lobby that have disclosed their housing insecurity to me. Even recently, when a woman was unsure whether her card would go through as we near the end of the month, there was a quiet offer of still enjoying a coffee if it didn’t. I’ve completely stopped going to the sterile waiting areas of similar places like Starbucks because we all need a little more community care for each other. As an aside to great staff and customers, I love (too much and too often) getting their rosemary bagel that they always hook up with lots of cream cheese. Keep it up pavement- you make me proud to be in Cambridge alongside businesses with staff that value the humanity that they can bring to others’ days. I hope they are compensated for the extra (and so so necessary) love they give others.“

“Very unique restaurant that does some super cool things! Pros: - Any of their baked goods are TO DIE FOR. - Lovely environment - Nails the diner theme - An experience!! Cons: - I’ve been here three times now and honestly I just don’t think their actual entrees are super memorable. I tried their clam chowder, their jackfruit bowl, and the chicken waffles. And only the chicken waffles stood out as being good (still not fantastic) the others were meh 🤷 - wish it was all vegan. Seriously, y'all, Tatte Bakery at Harvard Square is my absolute favorite! Every single time I step through those doors, it's like a little slice of heaven. 😍 From the moment you walk in, you're hit with that amazing smell of fresh-baked goodies and perfectly brewed coffee – it's pure magic! ✨
This last visit was extra special because I treated myself to two of my absolute faves: a smooth Cortado and, get this, a Pistachio Coffee! 🤤 Both were ridiculously delicious and hit just the right spot. The Cortado was perfectly balanced, and that Pistachio Coffee? Mind. Blown. 🤯 It's the kind of drink that makes you want to do a happy dance.
And it's not just the drinks! I also snagged one of their famous Almond Croissants – flaky, buttery, and packed with almond goodness. Seriously, it's a masterpiece. 🎨
