“First, my apologies for not posting this sooner.

We had a Day-After brunch last month following our Class of 75 reunion the previous evening. I had reserved space for twenty, but only half of us were able to attend.The outdoor seating was perfect as was the weather. The service and food were excellent (I have been going about avocado toast all wrong...that was wonderful).

Anyway, my classmates and I enjoyed our time together there. I would not hesitate to go there again.

“A GREAT Hot Dog and a cool and tasty Italian Ice. Fresh, soft buns for the dogs with a huge assortment of fixings. I selected a half and half Ice of Strawberry and Watermelon. The strawberry was refreshing and delicious but was NOT sickly sweet. The Watermelon was wonderful and did not have that chemical taste that so many watermelon-flavored products have. It was very natural tasting and was really awesome with the strawberry (I recommend it). A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDS, or for a first teenage date! Also, a perfect place for day workers in Sudbury to get quick and delicious lunch.“

They have a great selection of seasonal specials and drinks as well as staples on the menu that I come back for over and over. Had to excuse myself walking back to my table i notice the door to the kitchen was open saw the chef was cooking i told him that the was outstanding chefs never hear the good only the bad he told me his name was Paul. “My colleagues and I visited this establishment directly following our performance at GrotonFest, which was held nearby. The staff was very courteous and obliging. Lauren, our server, was particularly pleasant. We shared some lighthearted conversation, and our food was served promptly. “Not normally a solo eater, I stopped by the Club Car Cafe in W. Concord, yesterday, and had the most delicious lunch. I ordered the veal parmigiana sandwich which came with fries and, on a 90+ degree day the iced tea I ordered really hit the spot. The veal parmigiana was as good I’ve had at many Italian restaurants. The portion was generous and the price value relationship was excellent. Club Car Cafe has an extensive breakfast menu which is served until 10:45. I had originally planned to go for breakfast but didn’t make it in time. Next time, I will start out earlier. I did pick up a blueberry scone and blueberry muffin, on the way out, and we enjoyed them for breakfast today. Club Car Cafe is a family run restaurant and Bianca and Ron made me feel so welcome. If you’re in the West Concord area, I would definitely recommend having breakfast or lunch at the Club Car Cafe. If you have a little train lover, he/she will enjoy seeing the real trains going by as well as the toy train set , high up on the wall, traveling round and round the restaurant. The menu is extensive and I am fairly certain the Club Car Cafe has a Childrens menu. Handicapped access is something I always look for. There is a ramp on one side of the building!“

I was curious about what sets 99 apart from similar chains like Applebee’s, and the answer I got was simple: “They think they’re better and charge more.” While neither is glaringly obvious, the menu does offer a few standout dishes, like the Shepherd’s Pie - a refreshing option compared to the usual burgers and fried food lineup.

Next time, I’ll try sitting at the bar - it looks like the kind of spot where this place really shines. For a casual, satisfying meal, 99 in Hudson is worth a visit.“
