“Great karaoke, atmosphere, and staff! There's a sign for an upcoming meat raffle but our fries came with a garlic Parmesan sprinkle - great vibe that didn't take itself too seriously. it was nice to see a decent mix of people for a suburban New England town. Super welcoming atmosphere, and we will definitely be back! Easy to get to from city, only 2 exits down 24. there's a cute patio with bistro lights. My only critiques - 1. they serve crinkle cut fries. by choice, I'm assuming? And 2. If you're sober and hate Pepsi products, you're out of luck. Next time I'll sneak a flask of Coke Zero in my purse.“

Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. “So happy we came here. The service was great and the food was amazing! Our server took seven people's orders by memory and it was served perfectly. The knowledge of the menu made our server make recommendations that made the meal even better. We had a one year old in our party and they made accommodations for us. We all plan to return here.“

“My husband and I had our wedding at TJ Smith's and it was a wonderful experience. They were always so quick to answer questions and assist us. They handled everything the day of and ensured our wedding was a huge success. We didn't have to worry or stress about a single thing. The price is amazing for the value and I highly recommend checking them out. Our wedding was absolutely perfect!“

I am glad we went, blueberry pancakes were really good, the blueberries were so juicy. The Western omelette, even though it was deli style ham, was also very good with lots of veggies. Home fries and toast are not included with the omelette price which is different than I'm used to but the omelette was the star anyway!“

Just ate here last night (Friday 5/2)
Our server Paige was attentive despite having many tables. The drinks were delicious- tried my first Mint Julep! We were bold and went with the PB &J wings to try. They sounded so odd but also so delicious. They did not disappoint!

We couldn’t help but overhear behind us there was an issue with their order. After two visits from 2 different managers the people got up and left. We did ask Paige about it and she did explain the situation in a professional manner. When she felt she couldn’t resolve the issue, she got help from her managers. The people chose not to pay even though it was their mistake. And said they would give a bad review if they were forced to pay their bill. Kudos to Paige and the managers for handling the situation so well.

“We rented out The View’s Tavern for our son’s first birthday party this past Saturday. From the first phone call to the last email, the owner Billy and his administrative assistant Cathleen, have been nothing but kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was perfect for our family and friends (we had about 50 adults and about 12 kids). The patio was closed as it is the winter but I’m sure the room is even better when the patio is open in the warmer months. The cook made some delicious food that everyone loved - especially the meatballs. I chose to do stationary food options but you can also choose to do buffet style or passed hors d’oeuvres. The drinks from the bartender were great as well! Highly recommend The View if you’re looking for a room to rent for a party/gathering.“

“Petra our server was truly exceptional, as were the other members of the staff. Clearly someone has done a good training job. Atmosphere, upbeat and enjoyable, beautiful views, not crowded, could be a bit loud when really busy. The food was very, very good. I recommend the beet salad with the salmon, which had an unusually crispy exterior without being overcooked. The grilled shrimp on the same beet salad were also perfectly cooked and seasoned nicely. . Eggs Benedict were good although we were not fond of the Portuguese bread, but OK. The ruby red mock cocktail was outstanding.
Other than the super service the espresso was best of all!!
