There's a sign for an upcoming meat raffle but our fries came with a garlic Parmesan sprinkle - great vibe that didn't take itself too seriously. it was nice to see a decent mix of people for a suburban New England town. Super welcoming atmosphere, and we will definitely be back! Easy to get to from city, only 2 exits down 24. there's a cute patio with bistro lights. My only critiques - 1. they serve crinkle cut fries. by choice, I'm assuming? And 2. If you're sober and hate Pepsi products, you're out of luck. Next time I'll sneak a flask of Coke Zero in my purse.“

Cute environment service was decent food was absolutely disappointing, ordered buffalo Mac and cheese it was so watery and tasteless I decided not to complain or send it back. When we were ready to leave the older waitress asks me if I wanted a box. I declined politely and was then asked if I was full???? Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. “We used Tasetfully Done to cater our daughter's bridal shower. We were thrilled with the quality of the food and the service! Everything was delicious, and beautifully presented. As we had guests with gluten and dairy allergies, we needed to modify the menu and Jimmy was very accomodating, ensuring that those guests would be able to have choices on the menu.
Jimmy is great to work with, very helpful, lots of good suggestions when deciding the menu, and delivered the food to our home. We will use Tastefully Done again, and highly recommend it to all!“

Just ate here last night (Friday 5/2)
Our server Paige was attentive despite having many tables. The drinks were delicious- tried my first Mint Julep! We were bold and went with the PB &J wings to try. They sounded so odd but also so delicious. They did not disappoint!

We couldn’t help but overhear behind us there was an issue with their order. After two visits from 2 different managers the people got up and left. We did ask Paige about it and she did explain the situation in a professional manner. When she felt she couldn’t resolve the issue, she got help from her managers. The people chose not to pay even though it was their mistake. And said they would give a bad review if they were forced to pay their bill. Kudos to Paige and the managers for handling the situation so well.

“A friend and I got some food to go here a few weeks ago at night and I must say that the food was very good. It did take about 20 minutes for it to come but it was made when we ordered so I know it was fresh. The service was great also very kind people that work there. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.“

“We rented out The View’s Tavern for our son’s first birthday party this past Saturday. From the first phone call to the last email, the owner Billy and his administrative assistant Cathleen, have been nothing but kind, helpful, and accommodating. The room was perfect for our family and friends (we had about 50 adults and about 12 kids). The patio was closed as it is the winter but I’m sure the room is even better when the patio is open in the warmer months. The cook made some delicious food that everyone loved - especially the meatballs. I chose to do stationary food options but you can also choose to do buffet style or passed hors d’oeuvres. The drinks from the bartender were great as well! Highly recommend The View if you’re looking for a room to rent for a party/gathering.“

“We decided to take the ferry over to Hingham and have lunch. The Beth was a nice surprise! We started with blueberry lemonade and a peach bourbon drink. We chose the burrata caprese for the appetizer and shared a slow roasted turkey BLT. It was all delicious! Our waitress, Kasey, was awesome. We didn’t feel rushed, we were able to enjoy the view of the harbor from inside. We would go back, great place for casual dining.“
