A little pricy (what isn’t nowadays) BUT they have a nice weekly (Thursday?) chicken sandwich special if you’re cost-conscious. Only detracting mark: beware the appetizers that use the cute little cast irons, I have a hunch (I.e., 2x time food poisoning last fall) that someone might accidentally be using grandma’s classic “wipe down” method instead of typical restaurant grade sanitization on their CI😅 But otherwise this place slaps so still 5-starred🤷‍♀️“

“I just had the hottest meal I’ve ever had. The waiter said “That is very very spicy”…I told him to say “very” three times to warn customers. The meal was AWESOME!!! Thank you 👍“

“We love this style of Asian fusion cuisine so we came by for dinner and were not disappointed. Staff are helpful, attentive, and super friendly. The cocktails are great, and the food was incredible. It's a higher end spot in a wealthy area so you have to expect costs to reflect that.“

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“Disappointed in the small bites, limited menu. Not enough choices. This was a great place to bring a group for a nice dinner, but there is nothing on the menu for a picky eater anymore. The old burger was excellent. Cauliflower and Hake were my favorite dishes. Beef cheek was a big disappointment.“

“Upstairs the atmosphere is 5 stars and I’m really knit picking here but downstairs in the dining rooms (not near the bar) it can be hard to hear your party due to the other patrons. This restaurant is amazing though, the food, the drinks and the staff are top notch. The building is a historical piece of art as well. Highly recommend the flip fantasia drink (upstairs) and the eggplant.“

“Simulators are legit and it feels like you are outside playing on the actually course you've selected. It's a nice vibe and a great bar to watch games or golf on and the pizza is amazing. (get the sweet heat, it wont disappoint) They also offer leagues and spots for parties/events. If you're looking for a spot to work on your game this winter, grab a beer and watch some sports I highly recommend Birdie Bar!“

“We went in a large group of 10 people. They were able to accommodate us seamlessly event though they probably have about 30 seats. The food came out quite quickly. All the dishes were all very delicious. We had chicken satay, spring rolls, larb chicken, fish cake, grilled squid, crying tiger, padthai, duck curry, chicken basil leaves, pad si ewe, Tom ka seafood, fried rice, hadyai fried chicken with sticky rice and mango sticky rice. Everyone really enjoyed the food. The service elevated our experience of eating here. I decided that this is my favorite Thai restaurant in Boston. Highly recommended.“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed.The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded - I think because it hasn't yet been discovered as it's off the beaten path, tucked behind the Alewife T station amidst the apartment buildings there. They have a lovely ambience with spacious outdoor seating and a fire pit as well as a spacious indoor dining area that doesn't make you feel crowded next to strangers. The restaurant offers a small menu but with very interesting flavor combinations - especially among their house cocktails - and there was something for everyone (vegetarian or carnivore). We ended up splitting several shareable plates and each one was a winner. And all of the servers were pleasant and attentive. It's now on our list of go-to places.“

“This is the best restaurant on Moody! My wife and I came on a whim when they opened a few years ago. We have been coming almost monthly ever since. The food is fantastic. The variety is incredible. Service and atmosphere wonderful and inviting. And the drink menu is extensive, both in delicious cocktails and a sake list we are still working through to this date. Any time we have friends in town, we bring them to Shiki Shabu Shabu as a treat to ourselves and them. Casual dinner at the bar is fun and groups at tables is an experience. This is what Moody has been missing!“

“We had a wonderful experience and have returned a few times. All of our dishes were tasty except for the ninebark salad. It was delicious although for the price they were extremely skimpy with the lettuce, and I finished my salad and watched everyone else enjoy their dishes. If you charge that price point for a salad I believe you should be generous with the foundation of the dish which is lettuce.“

“What a great meal at Branch Line! This was my first visit, my companions had dined here before. Very lively with beautiful warehouse-vibe decor. Our server was amazing, charming and attentive. The food was delicious, highly recommend the Crab Louie app, tons of crab. Presentation of all items was spectacular. Only complaint: two of us had the risotto with scallops added—the scallop was chopped into tiny pieces and was most likely only one on each plate. That was disappointing especially for such a class act restaurant. But still yummy.“

“A wonderful restaurant that more people need to know about. Very pleasant ambience , and once seated you are served wonderful rolls with delicious herbed butter. We started with their home made tomato soup. After, My husband had bolognese with chicken meatballs, that was outstanding. I know that for a fact as I keep stealing bits of it. I had the shrimp dish special , also wonderful. Our server, Brian was fabulous, and attended to all our needs. Bazille has a very varied and interesting menu, can't wait to return to try them all.“

“My friends and I went to try out their trivia and it was an ok experience for that. It’s definitely more of a sports bar that just happens to do trivia weekly. It felt like trivia wasn’t the focus of the hour even though most groups were playing. The host was solid and questions had good variety but the pace was rather slow. For food we ordered some dishes to share and a couple of personal plates and I can say across the board it was really pushing the line of being a bad value. The taste was solid but the small portions were a real disappointment. For example the tacos were so small you could easily finish each of the 3 your given in 2 bites or even 1 with little problem. The atmosphere was energetic and staff were kinda but at the end of the day it’s not for us.“

“Service was incredibly fast & personable. Food was prepared very fast and so fresh that I had to give it a few minutes to cool down. The best part was how exceptionally tasty the food was. My spicy steak tip skewer was cooked to rare perfection with every bite seemingly juicier than the last. My chicken teriyaki rice bowl was also the bee's knees. Prices we very reasonable and quality of our experience was terrific.“

Table service was a little slower than I would personally prefer, but overall solid. Cocktails are top notch!!!! Fantastic presentation on the drinks and absolutely delicious on top of that. Even if you're not hungry, would recommend stopping in for drinks!“
