“It's the perfect setting for a night out with someone special, a friend or otherwise. We sat outside, had a beautiful view of the mountains, seating was quaint, and they had some soft music playing in the background. The food was not every-day fare, it was creative, delicious and perfect. I recommend the striped bass with sweet potato puree, and a sauce made from a plum wine. I paired with the strawberry rubarb wine..... every sip and every bite was perfect!“

“Absolutely the best N. Y. Sirloin I have ever tasted. It was thick, tender and favorable, served with a chicken-of-the-woods reduction that was perfectly paired with the steak. Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. The food is consistently excellent, and their prime rib special as well as their clam chowder are the best in the world, and that is not an exaggeration. The atmosphere is cozy and down-to-earth. We sat at their bar set up overlooking the grill. The gentle man next to us had these massive plates of food. I decided to order what they had. My dish came with steak and an additional option of protein. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested the shrimp. I'm not a huge shrimp fan but let me tell you these were fantastic! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The steak was well seasoned and grilled Perfectly. It came with a very generous portion of sauted vegetables. Delicious rice, homefries and eggs sandwiched between 2 corn tortillas. Homemade gauc and some black beans on the side. I was given the option to try their homemade hot sauce! My wife got the chorizo enchiladas . Sooo good! Don't miss out on this place !. We will return!“

Appointment and I didn't have a breakfast, so I happen to spot this right around the corner, and I have to say, I've had the best onion, bagel sausage, egg and cheese, sandwich that I've had. In a long, long time and home fries were really good too. The staff was wicked friendly and I felt very comfortable in there.I would recommend it 😎👍“

“I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to a place we all know and love… Dean Park Pizza!! 🍕 I had ordered pizza from another shop in town for my son’s birthday party at school today because they had the option for delivery. When they driver hadn’t shown up 45 mins after the expected delivery time and the owner of the first pizza shop telling me “it’s not his problem” and hanging up the phone on me.. I called Dean Park in a panic because at this point I had a class of 20 hangry preschoolers that needed to eat and get to sleep. They not only made my 5 pizzas in 15 mins but gave my son a free bag of chips for his birthday!! The pizza was delicious as always but nothing compares to their customer service!! “I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“
