“Delicious sandwiches at reasonable prices. We got the pastrami sandwich and a bacon egg and cheese and both sandwiches were fantastic and generously portioned. My husband said his pastrami was so good that it's going to make the rent go up. Highly recommend, we definitely will be returning.“

“My opinion is 9.6/10. Came here because of man vs food did the 2 lbs burger. This place till this day has the juiciest burger meat I ever had was literally dripping down my arm, but not only juicy flavorful and highly enjoyable. “Have been here a few times for lunch and I see why it is a staple in South Boston.

I'm a sucker for chicken cutlets so my two experiences and now go-tos for sandwiches were the Mamma Mia and Chicken Americano. The bread was so soft and fresh. Same goes for the chicken cutlets. Additionally they were thin, but hearty, crispy, yet juicy. Not only was the sandwich delicious, but was it filling. I am not a small guy and I had to wrap the second half of the sandwich up for later. This doubles the value as each sandwich is about $12, making it $6/meal if you split it in half, which will be a necessity if you add some chips and a beverage.

One small negative is their pizza. Being me, I have try a cheese slice wherever I see one available. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great either, however, it's clear to me that you don't come to J Pace's for pizza.

If you're visiting Boston or live in and around Southie you got to stop by for a sandwich or maybe two. I'll be back soon and often!“

“Great locally owned spot for breakfast. The food was fast and fresh! And a great value! I had the 3 cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes, they were skin-on reds! Went to Mike and Patty’s in high rise and they had no bacon so we left and found this place. 2 egg, toast, homefries and bacon with coffee for two was $20. Total.
