“A must visit for Boston tourists and locals alike. You're bound to enjoy upbeat live Irish music, friendly staff, and classic pub grub, but with an Irish flair. The food is okay - I like the clam chowder/soup options but otherwise i find the food is a bit pricey for what it is. However, the music and vibes are always enjoyable and keep me coming back (and bringing visitors!) again and again.“

“Taylor was beyond professional tonight. what was a very calm, civil election night turned into chaos for a second because of one patron. Taylor was beyond patient and very professional when this man was being very disruptive and she gave him a fair warning as he had been kicked out before. After he escalated by causing more trouble, Taylor calmly told him to leave and he grabbed another patrons purse and threw it at her, thankfully missing, but having things fly from what he hit. Thankfully he did leave and I cannot express how professional Taylor was with this whole situation. I hope he has a perma ban because nobody-especially an employee-should have to deal with this. I will return because of her professionalism and warmth as a barkeep.“

“Had dinner here before a Sunday show and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We started with a cup of chowder—and I can see why it’s award-winning. I ordered the pulled pork special, which was very tasty, and the fries were perfectly crisp on the outside. Finished with a rich chocolate cake for dessert.

Our waiter was attentive but seemed a bit overwhelmed—perhaps they were short-staffed that evening. Noticed quite a few Irish tourists enjoying the weekend, which added some lively energy to the place.

Overall, great food—I’d definitely eat here again.“
