“I travel for work and often find the reactions weird when I say I’m a party of 1. The hostess here was so kind. They had a private event but she was able to seat me in the raw bar section and my dinner was excellent. The staff are very kind and don’t make you feel rushed at all. The food quality was top notch and the raw bar was excellent. The service and quality surpass the pricing. Do not miss the opportunity to try this place out.“

“We are doing a world cruise on the Coral Princess and went to Yankee Lobster for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, heaps of lobster in the roll and fries too. My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. But that is not a reflection on this restaurant - as we have set a high bar. The location itself was marked down also. A long corridor style restaurant. Meaning that one side of the table faced the wall. Which made it harder to feel the atmosphere. Take someone you like to look at.“

“Limani Grille was such an amazing dining experience! Mario went above and beyond to make a birthday celebration extra special. Mario helped us to decide which drinks and foods to get based on our likes. He was so much fun!Everything was delicious from the drinks to the entree to the dessert. The Destructed Baklava was one of the best desserts that I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back when we are in Boston again. A 5 star experience for sure!“

“I finally made my way to Penang after hearing good things about it. The menu is huge and I was very excited to try the food. Overall I would say the food is good and the seafood was great, but nothing blew me away.

The roti canai was good! I really liked the texture of the roti -- thin and chewy without being heavy. The chicken curry was pretty tasty as well. I would get this again.

The chow kueh teow had really good seafood -- the shrimp and squid were tender and delicious. The noodles were not that great in comparison -- a bit gluey and quite oily.

We didn't like the beef masak lemak. The beef was not particularly tender and the sauce tasted like sweet caramelized onions? This was a miss for us.

Overall the menu has a lot of options so I'd be open to coming back. I'd try more seafood next time!“

“The atmosphere is like nothing I've ever experienced at a restaurant of this class. The decor is so cool & unique. Our waitress Chantelle was perfection. She rolled with my boyfriend's quips & even had some hilarious responses! The food was incredible! The scallops were the best I've ever had, and I'm from Boston & Quincy Ma where we have some amazing ones! The beef garlic pasta was unbelievable. The wings were amazing. They make amazing cocktails. I had a REAL margarita! Great pour! Hard to find a place without a mix... I really want to go back already! the prices are amazing!!!“

“I was absolutely floored by this restaurant. I deeply regret never having tried it in the past 6 years despite passing by it many times and seeing it packed! We had to wait around 13 minutes after joining the waitlist around 6pm on a Saturday. Ordering is very easy to do through a QR code, and they are very efficient at getting the food out and turning tables around.

We got two mains, one appetizer, and 2 rice for 3 people, and that was plenty (came out to $60 before tip). I liked every single dish including the rice.

The dish that impressed me the most was the fish fillet with pickled vegetables ($25.95). The fish was plentiful and super tender, with great flavor from the broth and pickled vegetables, but there were also glass noodles and 3 different kinds of mushrooms, which I wasn't expecting. This is a 10/10 dish, and I would absolutely get it again.

The house special stir fried tender beef ($20.95) was also very delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, and we liked the bell peppers and cilantro. It was more of a home style dish than the grand fish fillet, but I'm glad we got to try it.

We also got the black fungus salad ($6.95) which was a delightful way to start the meal. The sauce has soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil, and lots of garlic. The rice was also delicious!

Hunan Cuisine wasn't on my radar until today, but now it would probably be my top pick for dinner in Chinatown. I'll definitely be back!“

“The lobster roll at Little Whale is easily one of the best in the city. It has heaps of lobster but it’s cut up small so it’s easy to eat. Lobster aside, the French fries here are absolutely amazing. They taste like McDonald’s used to in the 80s. If you come at off hours walk ins are easy but if you are coming at prime time make a reservation.“

“By far the best, authentic Italian food in the North End. We have dined at several restaurants but the service, ambience and food is the best! They make their own pasta and sauces daily. I cannot recommend Casarecce enough. Delicioso.“

I do suggest getting a warm lobster roll and an 8 oz clam chowder. The 3 dollar markup for the warmth is worth it, but also questionable.

“My second review went less than a week. Got takeout tonight. The food is fabulous. Staff is wonderful. There was a mess up with the toast app. They quickly fixed it. I got to sit at the bar and talk to the bartender. Really nice guy. The food is so flavorful. Usually my wife says I can cook better than the food we eat at most restaurants. (I love to cook. Both grandfathers were chefs in Boston) She can’t say that about this one. The chefs there do a great job. Love to get some of the recipes though.“

“Amazing! What an experience to find this family-friendly (yes, they have a kids menu thank goodness!), inviting atmosphere, social staff, and delicious food! Everything was incredibly fresh and the staff were beyond welcoming and accommodating. We felt like we were dining with folks we’ve known for years. The bruschetta was fresh along with the pink penne vodka and kids meals. We felt so full but beyond grateful to find BenCotto!“

“Wow. This is the kind of place where I’m sitting there thinking, “now this is 5 stars.”

It came to light because at some point we heard that 1) they had won a James Beard award (which is on display right up front), and 2) the Culurgiones (Sardinian stuffed pasta) were to die for.

When we arrived, we immediately appreciated the level of service provided - for example, our coats were taken and hung up. The wine menu is also authentic Italian - I ordered a Nebbiolo rosso.

As a party of two, we split an antipasto, a primo, and a secondo. First was an excellent burrata. Second was the famed Culurgiones (pictured) - so pillowy and tasty. Third was the roast half chicken. This was the best roasted chicken we’d had in quite a while. So juicy and well seasoned.

We finished with the tiramisu (tasty, well-presented, and bigger than we thought) and the cannoli (comes with two).

The atmosphere was lovely and so was our server, Paige.
