“Kevin was our service provider this evening. He is absolutely fantastic. He has been our service provider prior to this - and even though we haven't been here for a few weeks - he remembered who we are -and what we usually order. Everything was perfect. He makes the dining experience excellent“

“What an amazing place. In these times when we are still not comfortable dining indoors this place rocks. The chef behind these dishes knows a thing or two about bringing beer garden food to a totally new level. Thank you chef and staff in front of the house.“

“Asia Mei is easily one of the best Chefs in Boston. I've eaten here several times, but I can't believe that I haven't written a review before now! My husband and I had brunch at moonshine 152 last weekend and told friends about it. Next thing you know, the four of us were in there around noon time today having brunch again. We shared three starters, alongside sharing all four entrées and everything, I mean everything was to die for! Ms Asia herself delivered some of our plates and she is just as delightful as she is talented. Needless to say, dinner is amazing here as well. The vibe in the restaurant is so easy and you can tell that the staff get along very well together. What I can't believe is how this place wasn't fully packed today or last weekend even. Definitely a good amount of patrons, but I've had brunch at places that are hard to get into and left much less satisfied.“

“Interesting arrangement of lively front-of-house bar and quiet white-tablecloth dining room a bit further in. Each has its own menu although some items show up on both. We were seated in the peaceful dining room, a romantic room decorated with vintage French posters and fresh flowers on the tables. My husband and I chose the crispy potato pave' with truffle from the sides list to share as an appetizer; it was delicious. I had the Scottish salmon with flageolet beans and Brussels sprouts, which were all excellent. My husband had the roast duck breast and loved it. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. Overall it was a lovely experience, with delicious food, close to South Station.“

“Xavier was the best! We came in on a quiet Sunday night to celebrate a birthday, and he brought us a delicious tres leches cake with a candle! It was an awesome surprise. We loved the Good Vibrations drink, it comes with gin but he had it replaced with vodka to better suit our tastes. Xavier is a great server, very intuitive and attentive.“

“Always make a priority of coming here when in Boston. The service is excellent and they’ve come to add an even more personal touch as I’ve gone back again and again. Sitting at the counter viewing the kitchen is a must. You see all the action and gorgeous plating as it takes shape.
Absolutely recommend the wine pairings. They are always interesting but also approachable, sophisticated but never intimidating or overwhelming.
Also recommend opting in for the foie gras special when they have it. It changes with the seasons (as does the rest of the menu) and I’ve loved it every time.
Overall a great experience and fabulous meal every time!“

“Great place in Boston for dinner and drinks with friends before a game or concert. The Baja shrimp tacos were surprisingly amazing. Our espresso martinis were made delicious and dark. Lemon pepper tenders were crispy and tasty. Ordering drinks on the tablet was extremely convenient and fairly hasty. I really liked that as some great spots take a while for cocktails.“

“POE-LENTA RESTAURANT REVIEW:
Poe-lenta at the Time Out Market in 401 Park is a place that really impressed me. The portions were exactly right, filling without being overwhelming, and the flavors came together beautifully. Every bite felt balanced and carefully prepared, turning a simple dish into something memorable.
The service was outstanding. My food was ready within two minutes, which is incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. They even took the time to show me photos of the different meals before I ordered, which made the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. That kind of personal touch made the visit feel special.
One thing to keep in mind is that they only accept card payments, no cash, but for me that was a small detail in an otherwise excellent experience.
Overall Poe-lenta is absolutely worth trying if you are visiting Time Out Market or spending time around Fenway. Between the perfectly portioned dishes, the rich flavors, and the welcoming staff, it is the kind of spot you want to return to again and again.“

“An otherwise unassuming hotel lobby bar, Kestra offers live jazz several nights a week. We live in the neighborhood and were passing through the lobby as a shortcut on a rainy night, and noticed the music emanating from the lounge so made a plan to return to try their menu and musical offering. Kestra's menu is limited but not unusually so for a lobby bar. We had their charcuterie board, the delicious chili cheese biscuits, and a prosciutto flatbread, all of which were satisfying. Where Kestra exceeded expectations that evening was in the music. A trio of local musicians included bassist Jon Burr, guitarist Sal DiFusco, and violinist Mark Russell. All were exemplary, in particular Russell, whose career has been inspired by Stephane Grappelli, one of my long-time favorites. What a treat, to happen upon such high-caliber talents in a hotel lobby bar (and with no cover charge)! Besides wishing for a few more choices on the menu, we'd have loved to get a table closer to the musicians. For whatever reason, tables for diners are amassed around a fireplace and far removed from the entertainment, as if to relegate the music to the background. All that said, we'll be keeping Kestra on our radar as an easy-going option for casual bar snacks and top-flight local jazz.“

“Went there after a movie and had reservations, so seating was great. Also this was during a football game. Consider the day and time you go. My party got two burger dishes and mac n cheese and all were great. Also a pretzel app and that was great!! With a few drinks.“
