“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. Thank you, Tawakal Halal, so much for giving me an experience I will never forget and know that when I return to Boston, you can bet the first stop on my itinerary will be your café. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Online ordering was time efficient for everyone and child friendly in a location that is generally very child unfriendly.“

“Very tasty almond croissant inside the heart of Cambridge. Praline is the perfect place to grab a coffee and a pastry and crank in a couple hours of work.

Praline is a French bakery in Cambridge (I could hear their staff speaking French which is always a good sign!). Their pastries are all beautiful, but as always, I had to try their almond croissant.

The croissant itself was light, moist yet still crispy on the bottom. The almond paste filling was very generous and evenly spread throughout. The paste tasted very natural with a strong nutty flavour.

In my opinion, the almond paste lacked a bit of a “praliné” taste (it’s in their name after all!), and could have benefited from a bit of salt. Still overall a delicious croissant, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their pastries!

p.s: Iced latte was also very nice, perfect combination with the almond croissant!“

“This place is AMAZING. I’m very picky with my coffee so I ordered a basic hot latte with vanilla syrup and it was so good and the latte art was so cute. My friend got a matcha and she said it’s the best she’s ever had. The cashier was super nice as well.“

“I can praise Henrietta”s table enough! The choices are amazing all healthy and sounds delicious and fresh! Having gluten and dairy allergies it’s hard to find a restaurant that is kind and respectful and understanding is hard but here they will make sure you have a fabulous safe meal. Been here a few times and last night we had Brit who was absolutely a doll helped me get out of my scrod box and try the salmon. I HIGHLY suggest for all. Thank you Brit much appreciate it“

“As someone who has searched for the best boba in Harvard Square since 2017, I am telling you this is the best spot. It's the classic standby. It's been here for years and it will continue to last, no matter how many other bubble tea shops open (and inevitably close) in the rest of the square. It's consistent, it's very decent boba and tea, it has a nice big menu and great weekday specials, and it's pretty fast.

Ten One is expensive, overcrowded, and inconsistent quality-wise, with a limited menu and slow service; the only thing it has better than Kung Fu is their branding. Tiger Sugar is terrible; the last time I got milk foam there, I could literally see it curdling in my tea.“

“One of the best cafes in the Kendall Square area. The banana cream cold foam ice matcha was one of the best barista drinks I’ve ever had in my life and they also have a lot of food options including a lot of healthy stuff like salads, real fruit smoothies or rice bowls. The staff is always really accommodating and helpful even in the most busiest times of the day which is something I personally considered very admirable having worked in the service industry.“

“the server that waited on me his name is Kevin. he was checking on me constantly i didn’t have to look for him to ask for anything when he saw that i needed something he was right there. the food was great full of flavor and spices. the bartender the drinks that he made was very good and the place amazing the patio nice and organized good decorations it really gives you that Mexican vide.“

“One of my fav places to grab a coffee and snack! It’s always so busy here but it’s because it’s worth it! The Ube Phin is great, with coffee and Ube flavoring coming through really nicely! The Ube milk tea is not bad but very milky, not a must try.

Pandan bun was very fluffy and had great texture! I just wish the Pandan flavor was stronger, even with the top part you could barely taste it, so it was more just a nice sweet bun. The food here looks so good though, can’t wait to try it and some of their other drinks next time I come!

Edit: Came back for the Breakfast skillet and it’s 100% worth it. A whole baguette with pickle on the side goes perfectly with a Vietnamese sampler platter of meats, egg, cheese, and tomato sauce. It’s a lot but so incredibly good!“
