“What a great new spot! I’m always on the hunt for good ramen and this place certainly hits the mark. It’s a small place with a cozy atmosphere and an open kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. The food isn’t cheap but it’s not exorbitant either, and you certainly get your money’s worth. Service was speedy and we didn’t feel at all rushed taking our time over our food.

If you’re looking for a lower key date night or an extra delicious dinner with friends this is the perfect place!“

“Food was wonderful — we had a boatload of tapas, no entrees. Service was impeccable — friendly, timely, kindly. My first time sitting in the basement level. They've squeezed people into every nook and cranny down there, which could lend a festive air to the experience but mostly just feels too crowded and noisy. “My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Siagon Babylon and it has easily become one of our favorite Boston restaurants. The plates are small and I recommend getting a couple to share (tapas style). We loved that each dish had classic southeast asian flavors, but was so unique. You will not find dishes like this anywhere else in Boston. Excited to come back for more!“

“The food is amazing! I totally forgot the name of the dish but the pork with noodle dish with the fried rangoon was amazing def recommend 🍜. Crispy chicken basil is also good and I recommend it with the sticky rice 🍚. The Hor Mok (salmon, shrimp, etc. curry inside a coconut 🥥) is pretty good too! The mango sticky rice is a go-to dessert 🥭“

We had gone earlier in the day, but their chef's were not doing ala carte orders yet (they had just opened). But the store has a good selection of grab-and-go items from sushi, to drinks, to other merch like soy sauce and snacks.FOOD:~Chef's Sampler (5/5) and Signature Set (5/5): each of these sets came with 5 pieces of nigiri, and they were all so good. Each of them were topped with a unique seasoning/sauce, and they accompanied each of the fish so well!Salmon don (5/5): came with a great assortment of salmon, all of it very fresh (salmon belly was my fave). But the star of this dish to me was the ikura and the cucumbers. SO DELICIOUSGreat quality sushi, great portions, delicious flavors, and affordable prices! Definitely a must visit!“

“Not variety of options for vegetarian people, but my non veg friends loved their foods! The fried rice is just average.

Editing after been here tens of times, this is my favorite Thai place around. Their thai tea- oh wow, super. Khao soi and drunken noodles are my favorite. Fried rice is my go-to option for Thai cuisine, and theirs isn't just as good as their other items mentioned above.

They make you wait until the full group has arrived, so prep if you don't want to wait in the cold.“

“I had just missed my flight back home and after 5 hours at the airport things began to look rather grim. I then decided to take a walk and by complete luck happened to use this location as a pickup spot for my Uber. What started as me wanting a small snack then turned into a newfound appreciation for Somali cuisine and an eating experience I will have yet to forget. Tawakal Halal gave me the best food and service in about 14 minutes than other establishments have managed to give me in an hour, so great in fact, that I wouldn’t have forgiven myself if I didn’t go a second time before I left. The food by itself is beyond amazing and I could write a whole review entirely on how great the food is, however, my personal favorites were the Goat Biryani and the Halwa as an excellent dessert option after. In addition to the food, the service here was amazing as well. The staff were always making sure I had everything I needed and doing everything they could to make my experience there a pleasant one, even offering me tea as I waited for my Uber. All in all, the best way I could describe this café to anyone wanting to know more about it is that it is truly everything you could ever ask for in a dining experience: fantastic food and amazing service. It even no longer made me upset that I missed my flight that day for if I hadn’t, I would have never been able to find this gem of a café. As for me, a stubborn black coffee drinker (no sweeteners or cream EVER, I'm old fashioned I know, I know ?!) I got a bagel. I ordered The Harper... sweet Mary and Joseph of the Holy Bible! Hence the "wowza"! The lemon and dill cream cheese is to DIE for. It's fresh, it's savory... it's amazing. Not to mention the quick service. Also it being in the Smith center means it's got the good AC (you know what I mean if you went to Harvard ?). Pavement is so convient and delicious, perfect for a light/ medium lunch. And my son (7 M) was ALL over the little chocolates they have. Now every time we walk in Harvard square all I hear is a rat in my ear going "Papi! Papi! More pavement chocolate!! Papi!!!!!" That's kids fer ya amiright ??.

“Good dining experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. My server replaced a dessert I didn't like with no change- which was very nice of her. Did the tasting menu which was nice. Next time I'll prob try the a la carte menu.

Parker House rolls:
Pillowy soft. Slightly sweet with a light dusting of salt on top. Butter was creamy and tasty too. 4/5

Potato pave
Like a giant French fry. Crispy outside nice and soft on inside. Topped with cavier and shallots which added a nice saltiness and savory flavor combo.

kampachi crudo-
Topped with basil, radishes, and cherry pepper drops
Good quality fish, slightly acidic flavor went well with the basil and radish. Cherry peppers added a light spice. Overall lacked flavor though 3.5/5

capitelli- topped with a Gremolata and capers, olive oil and eggplant
Very savory and well cooked. This was tasty 4.5/5

Pork loin with celery figs and peppers
Very tender and flavorful. Nice sauce with savoriness and a sweetest added by the figs 5/5

Dessert was a pear sorbet-
So good! Very. Tasted exactly like a pear. No added sugar no additives. so good! 5/5“

“A great small-plate restaurant near Harvard. We ordered four dishes and were not able to finish all of them. My favorite was the popcorn pancake. I also liked the secret burger. The grilled broccoli was big and should be cut into smaller chunks.

The service was excellent. I would love to come back sometime to try something else next time.“

Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even single person get treated nicely, which is very good. However it is not friendly for vegetarians, due to the lack of clear indication in their food selection area (some of them might seem to be vegetarian while contain animal products) so be careful.“

Highly suggest Ginger Scallion Fried rice, Mulan Fish, Pork with Mustard Green, and classic Bitter Melon with Salted Egg. Always busy. Do yourself a favor, invite people, family style sharing dishes and get full.

“Living nearby, Kantipur has become my go-to every week for quarantine takeout. I've tried all the chicken dishes about 3 times by now and I still can't decide which is the best! But my favorite menu item is the vegetable pakora appetizer. Dip it in the chutney sauce and you'll understand. 🎁🎊“

“The ice cream is above average. It can be a bit expensive though. Service is a hit or miss, sometimes you get a smiling and friendly cashier, sometimes you get the unfriendly one (I do turn around and leave when I get the latter). The space is kind of small so when it gets too crowded I have seen people eating their ice cream standing up, outside.“

“Literally the best hotel I think I have stayed at! First off, very easy check in with just being able to use a code and not have to hang onto a keg your whole trip. The bed was nice and big and it was easy to connect to WiFi. Two blocks away from the Red Line and a block away from the bus stop. It’s on such a cute street that is filled with plenty of food and drink options and even a small Target. The restaurant below has a great vibe if you are looking to get a nice bite or a drink at the bar. Overall 10/10 stay!!“
