“This place has the best coffee in town. Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for. Lunch menu is just as good. Cookies, scones and muffins are all delicious. The owners Peter and Siri bend over backwards to please their customers. The register and serving crew Lisa and Isabel are great.“

“Got the classic Benedict with beef brisket plate. Solid all around with the highlight being the bread. Poached eggs mixed with the Brazilian bread was great.

Atmosphere is a standard cafe where you have to find your own seating after ordering. It gets quite filled on the weekends.“

“Their pho salad cured salmon (5/5) was one of my favorite foods from my Boston/Cambridge trip. It was a unique dish that I'd never seen at any Vietnamese restaurant before and it was so good! While toppings were cold and fresh, the noodle was warm and it was delicious. Strongly recommend it!

Turmeric golden latte was just okay (3/5).

Everything is self serve here - you get in line, pay for your food, find yourself a seat, and go grab your food/utensils/water when they call you.“

Some days they have music blasting at a headache inducing volume so it’s not a reliably great place to work or meet friends.“

“Cute French bakery in East Somerville serving some delicious pastries and bread. About as close to a French bakery as you’ll find in Boston.

Small bakery in East Somerville, not the easiest to get to, but at least that means there won’t be a big queue!

I tried their almond croissant and their baguette. The baguette was superb: crispy, the perfect amount of chewiness, honestly I was transported back to Paris. Extremely authentic.

The almond croissant was very good (and beautiful!) One small criticism which prevents this from reaching 5 stars: I felt like the almond paste could have been more flavourful, and the croissant itself could have been slightly crispier. But still overall solid.“

The meats and cheese were delicious and the olive garnish and herbs enhanced this unique taste experience. We took the sandwich to go but the restaurant was clean and relaxed atmosphere. “I started going here in 2020 and slowly became obsessed. Best bakery and cafe in Somerville. The vibes of the staff are phenomenal but additionally the food and tea are to die for. I always get the London fog with vanilla and the vegan egg cheddar sandwich. Don’t forget to try to banana tajin muffin!!“

Not only was the food amazing but the workers were all so kind and even told me if I did not like the chai I could get something else. The cafe is gorgeous and just encompasses friends completely. My only criticism is that they need more help - there were 3 people in line and only one person serving customers. I could hear more people in back, but had to wait quite some time as the person in front of me had a large order.“
