“It was an enjoyable lunch overall. The wait initially between placing an order and the appetizers coming out was a bit long but once the appetizers came out, the rest of the meal came out quickly too, with generous portions. All three of us left VERY full and barely could finish the three noodle soups and two appetizers!“

“This Thai restaurant in Cambridge, MA was a fantastic discovery! The food was exceptionally delicious, and we enjoyed every dish we ordered. The vegetable salad with blue rice was a delightful surprise, with its vibrant colors. The service was also excellent, with smiles all around. The only downside was the need for improvement in their furniture seats and decor. Nonetheless, we’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit to Boston for the marathon.“

“We've been going to Cha Yen regularly since they opened, and their Thai food is a blessing to the Watertown community! The food is always delicious and fresh, and they are excellent at accommodating substitutions. We normally do takeout, but dine in is also great and we can't wait until they open their larger space across the street. If you are looking for excellent Thai food, give Cha Yen a chance!“

“Loved it here! Such a cute unassuming place near downtown Dedham. So many menu options. We had the roti bread appetizer and shumai which were both delicious. The bread was crispy and chewy like a scallion pancake and came with a delicious chicken curry on the side. I ordered the beef ball noodle soup which kind of resembled pho. Delicious and huge portions for every dish. My friend wanted khao soi which she found under a different name on the menu. I believe it was called curry noodle soup. Service was prompt and not overbearing. Thai iced tea was delicious. I would certainly come back again.“

“It was Ladies' night for us, and we popped into Banyan. We love the décor, atmosphere, drinks. We instantly loved Jimmy who gave us the warmest welcome like we were old friends. We ended our night in Banyan and are eager to go back for a meal!“

“First of all, I can't believe we waited so long to go back to this place, since we live less than half a mile away. This is such a unique place in Chinatown, with very creative (and well made) cocktails and a menu for just about anyone's palate. After seeing a segment on TV, I really wanted to try the burger and it might be one of the top 5 burgers I've ever had (and I have had thousands). The Bao bun is just so good, as was the sauce and the pickles. Top it off with a side of duck fat fries and you have the perfect burger. We were there on a Monday night around 6:45 and the place was packed. The bar too. No pictures but I wish I had. Will definitely be back to try more of the menus.“

If you want authentic Chinese food you must order off the dinner menu.They are a Szechuan restaurant so I would recommend ordering dishes like the peppercorn chicken or the Szechuan beef. Szechuan string beans are also really good.“

“The food was excellent so I'd give 5 stars just for that but they went above and beyond to cater to our kids food allergies, which is always difficult when you are traveling and have to eat out.The lady then took time to speak with our boys, ask them they're name and wrote it out in Thai on a piece of paper for them to take home as well as teach them how to pronounce it. “Truly a phenomenally spiced burger, and it was high quality meat (no tiny hard bits of cartilage or whatnot, which I find quite common in burgers, even at the Cheesecake Factory and other nice restaurants).I have never had a grilled pineapple alon my food before but this was so tasty too!I also appreciated the couches and arm chairs and my waiter was super kind and polite.The artwork and music were fun too.“

“Kokeshi is in residency with Bambolina (a wood-fired pizza joint, also delicious) and it's perfect! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. “Soups here are very good and flavorful. The service is quick (implied by the name 10 second delivery) because the prep is done in advance. If you get takeout, expect noodles and most toppings to be packaged separately as trays to one container. Parking can be found on the side road. It's located behind Wollaston station.“

“We decided to try this cafe. Very small but the food is delicious. Ordered the rice rolls with liver (for you who like liver, it was yummy!) but they certainly had loads of choices of fillings. The Chow Fun (we had chicken instead of beef) had plenty of bean sprouts as it should be. Yummy homemade wanton soup warmed us as it was a rainy day and our last dish was the pork rib in bean sauce clay pot. “Finally tried dining in at Phu-Ket after only having it via takeout after all these years. It's small from the outside, but cute and intimate on inside: quiet, more tables than I expected and clean, so I was blown away. I came here for dinner with my dad, and we got the Pork Tenderloin with Sticky Rice appetizer, Spicy Duck Fried Rice, and Seafood Pad Thai. All delicious and a great portion for the price. The price for all the items was about $40-$50, which is very reasonable. And with the takeout rice I got, that was still under $70. The service was a bit slow to start, but there were a lot of tables and takeout orders the whole night. So it's definitely popular, and I can see why. Even had a lovely chat with hostess and chefs after. I'll definitely be back! Bring your appetite and be willing to try new things!“

“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

“Tried it while in the area based on Yelp reviews. Got the springs rolls and pan fried dumplings as appetizers. The spring rolls were okay not great. The pan fried dumplings were really good. for entrees we got the Vegetarian Delight, the Basil Chicken with eggplant in Garlic sauce, and Chicken in black bean sauce. The vegetables in the Delight were excellent, the sauce was one of those sort of Chinese American white sauces that I am not really a fan of but was still decent. The Basil chicken dish was quite tasty, really good sauce and the eggplant was really, really good. The chicken in black bean was a simple but excellent dish. The serving dishes might have seemed cool in concept but perhaps had a flaw in actual use because they seemed to have a tendency to easily overflow due to design that has weakness on either end. Simple order at the counter and they bring to your table in the small dining room. Seems to be primarily a take out place but the dining room was clean and the service to the table good. They checked in on us. Bathroom was nice and clean.“

“Very good food. We got Spicy Bamboo with beef which was very tasty. The vegetables in the dish were yummy. The beef could have been cooked till more tender. It was too chewy for me. We had an appetizer, golden triangles, that were okay. I bet they would be better if there were 2-3 larger ones rather than many smaller ones. They reminded me of tiny Indian Samosas. The sweet chili sauce was perfect. The service was great. Atmosphere is that of a small place with about 10 tables. I would return for sure.“

“I had a large combination pho for take-out. It was very good and had all ingredients I expected, with good meat. They are nice. The atmosphere is peaceful with pleasant music in the background. The price is a great deal; I paid much more at another place in Woburn. If I lived closer I'd go here every week as I guess they also have Thai food. You can't usually park right in front; close to lunchtime I just parked close by on E. Nichols (the street where the fire station is).“

“Favorite Thai Takeout in Wakefield. I order from here very regularly. It's a cute hole in the wall type place with excellent food. Service is always great - friendly and quick. Few of my favorite meals: Charm Thai Fried Rice, Pad Woonsen, Drunken Noodle, Red Chicken Curry, and Green Chicken Curry. Everything is fresh and flavorful, not overwhelming or bland and the portions are great - I usually get two meals out of it. They are not stingy with the protein either. The Thai Iced Tea is also made really well here. It's right on Main Street - when you can snag a parking spot right in front/on Main Street it's a dream, but there is a parking lot and (side) street parking right around the corner. They also do delivery if you prefer or need that. There is only one maybe two tables inside so it's definitely a takeout joint, not an eat-in kind of restaurant, but if you are craving Thai food and want something delicious, this is the place to go!“

“I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“

“A decent option for Taiwanese and Chinese food in South End.Lured by their UE promotions, I recently decided to give Yummee a try, despite being initially hesitant due to its lower ratings and reports of long preparation times. As mentioned by other people, food prep took about an hour, and our delivery took over two hours. Food arrived somewhat cold, but the food itself was better than we expected.Some of the standouts were the Taiwanese Braised Minced Pork Rice and the Crispy Fried Chicken. I especially liked the kick of acidity from the rice bowl topping, which managed to capture the essence of Taiwanese cuisine quite well. On the other hand, the Braised Pork Belly was disappointingly dry, and the Mega Ramen, while ambitiously topped, suffered from a lackluster broth.While Yummee may not top the charts in its category, the food somewhat defied its modest ratings. “It's fine, maybe 3 and a half. I think it is not as high quality as some of the places around here and you know it's a take out place, not a fancy sit down restaurant. I think it would be ideal for hanging around with some folks, drinking a couple of beers and watching sports or something. The prices are great, the portions are great, the food, well it's good not great. I still reccomend and it is a great addition to Melrose long term. The tempura (and there is a lot of it) seems to be more like you would get for the breading in a sweet and sour recipe at a standard Chinese American storefront. Only five minutes from the Montvale Avenue exit....just past Leonard field on Washington Street. Only drawback is parking, but you can park around the corner on Harvard Street....or one of the side streeets across the street up on the hill. There's a couple of spots up front. (Can be a bit tricky to back in and out of during rush hour). - Other than that. Its an awesome place. If you order for new years be prepared, they require pre ordering and they cut it off at a particular time when they get too many orders. You have to order a day or so in advance, for new years, and pick it up on new years.“

“Got a takeout order and was really impressed! The mojo ramen broth was extremely flavorful and the chashu pork was tender and delicious. The noodles were also quite good even though I got a delivery and so they couldn't serve the noodles in the broth, I had to add it myself after reheating it.
