“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “The staff was AMAZING!!! As someone who worked in the restaurant business for 28 years I was completely amazed at how the staff handled the crowd at the Freezin for a Reason fundraiser on Jan 1st. The place was completely jammed and they were so calm and accommodating. Someone was always there to take a drink order or whatever else you needed. We were there for the fundraiser, but we will absolutely be back to visit again! Thank you all so much for the great experience!!“

“A great place to socialize with veterans and civilians alike. They have a luck of the draw every Friday night which can be from anywhere from 15 to 60 people playing darts. The drinks are amazing. Staff is incredible. I recommend booking a function there if it’s available. Fantastic space with handicap parking out front. And a great place to visit overall and they have room in the back for smokers!!

I waited about five to ten minutes for literally just a today refill. and yes two people walked past as I flagged them down.“

“Went tonight based on a recommendation from a friend. I had the watermelon martini which was delicious. The artichoke appetizer was perfection. I hade the ribeye which was flavorful just a little overcooked. I tend to like steak very rare either way I would try it again. My boyfriend ordered his filet medium which was a little closer to well but he still enjoyed it. Our server was very attentive and hard working. She frequently checked to make sure we were happy. We will definitely go back.“

The waitress was very accommodating having made a suggestion when I could not eat the vegetables offered due to dietary restrictions. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only negative was that it was a very very warm evening and there were no fans or AC on the deck or even in the inside dining room. So we were all a bit uncomfortable. However, we managed to enjoy our meals and would return again on a cooler evening.“

“We went to dinner and decided 7.00 Lobster Quesadilla for an appetizer, they were very good. We had.Baked Haddock Sauteed zucchini with roasted potatoes. It a classic, our favorite entree. We had New York Cheesecake drizzled with Caramel Sauce. Outstanding Mona was our server, she friendly, helpful and attentive. A charming woman, I hope have her an our server next time we go for dinner.“
