“This place is great! I visited in the fall and had a couple Cape Cod Mules and some buffalo shrimp and it was delicious. The bartender Beau was friendly and was doing tricks behind the bar the whole time. The vibe was beachy but local, the people at the bar were all friendly and talkative.
And to top it all off the beach is right across the road. The whole atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. As someone visiting during the off season the staff made me feel like a local.
Come here for a casual lunch and go for a walk on the beach afterwards.

“High quality food at a fair price. Food was out in 12 minutes. Healthy portions. It’s clear that lots of thought goes into this food. The lady who served me was super nice. Will definitely be going here again.“

“The Dog House is a must stop if you are visiting Dennisport in the summer. The food is very well made, staff are always friendly. The Lobster Roll is one of the best I've had on Cape Cod, very well prepared and tons of Lobster meat (see photo). Great drinks as well, great outdoor dining. They are open seasonally, so check their website for hours.“

The food was amazing across the board... the service was charming (thank you, Duet!) and the desserts were awesome too. (Try the Sandbar - a concoction of Graham cracker, chocolate, Reese's and vanilla ice cream that is just out of this world. Two giant thumbs-up - we'll definitely be back!“

“Excellent all around. Scott the owner does the cooking so there’s that personal touch that everything that comes out of the kitchen reflects his personal pride and pocketbook too. Hi wife waits and buys us along with a very efficient crew. Pride is no one. They lost one of their wait staff( Jean) who had a smile permanently engraved on her face. God rest your soul Jean. “Visited for the first time after making a phone reservation more than a week ago - this place is very popular! Super friendly welcome, peaceful and calm atmosphere. We had two pasta mains that were very well made, al dente pasta, flavorful sauce. Very cozy on a chilly night. Service is perhaps a little slow but they want to make you feel comfortable and not rushed. Will definitely come back when we visit cape cod again!“

“This is a nice place to go for a quick little meal. It has high ratings and was close to the place we were staying. Plus it was open after tourist season. We arrived around 8 on a holiday Monday morning in November. The only customers were a handful of older men at the counter with their newspaper and cheerful banter. 2-3 employees were working the floor and sitting down at a booth to chat with one another or do a crossword between orders. It was a layed back atmosphere. The wall/mural painting is old but looks wonderful. The walls contain antiques which make for fun conversation starters. Food came out fast and cooked nicely. It wasn't over the top, just ordinary and good. Straws, butter and syrup were provided without having to ask. Our bill was given to us mid meal and we paid at the counter. Part of the business is a small store where you can get candy, soda and other stuff you'd expect at a gas station.“

“Been hoping to get here for a little while now..girls trip seemed perfect to try especially since my friend has a gluten free diet to adhere to and that can be so very challenging while dining out...first off we learned an order of fried clams can be made in a GF way and fried in separate oil...they were just delicious, crunchy, light. I think my friend Kathy said...you dont know how happy I am right now...that was awesome❤️...we had the most amazing server..never caught her name but she couldn't have been more accommodating and informative...they offer an early bird special between 4 and 6 with many options along with the addition of salad or chowder to start along with their incredibly interesting menu to choose from..chowder was flavorful and very creamy...warm rolls served also...yummy...we all had something different ..steak tips, BBQ Ribs, pork tenderloin and chicken..and as pedestrian as that may sound...the dinners were perfectly cooked with accompanying lovely sauces, homemade whipped potatoes and veggies which were cooked exactly how they should be...crunchy not soft and seasoned well...something simple done with a skilled hand is perfection...desserts...I am a dessert snob..I love to bake and I now only order dessert if they are made in house..and they are here...we had the unfried ice cream, the key lime pie and the smores in a jar...well...those were all stellar...my friend could have the unfried ice cream as it's made in a GF style..so nice to be able.to see her order food that isn't just salad and a bunless burger..so happy for the owners here that are pouring their hearts and souls into a fabulous new dining destination for the Yarmouth area...they have also done a beautiful job with the redesign and decor..cozy and inviting..can not wait to return...open Tuesday thru Saturday for dinner...get here and compliment the chef...he is rocking this place❤️“

“We love OYI! We are a family of eight. All of our meals were perfectly prepared, and so delicious! The staff is so attentive. The owner and staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The fish, pasta and beef dishes were all scrumptious, as were the delicious blue cheese dirty martinis. OYI is the perfect place to go for a family get together, or for a romantic evening.“

“Very friendly waitress named Deborah. Loud restaurant. Our scallop dinners were good. The mushroom risotto a bit undercooked. Clam chowder tasted great. Never had a blueberry white chocolate bread pudding. That was delicious and enjoyed by both of us! The tea service was elegant with a pot and cup in one.“

“Excellent golf course layout with a fun but challenging course which is in excellent condition.Bunkers are strategically placed making the approach to greens also challenging.You will not be disappointed.After golf you can go restaurant on property for a beer or meal.I played many rounds and keep coming back.“

“We were pleasantly surprised to find Helen's Diner open during our last visit. We've always enjoyed the great food & service in a fun 1950's decor setting. Clean and friendly place for breakfast though we were sad to learn this will be their last season since planned renovations to the Tidewater Inn include changing the diner into a restaurant with a bar.“

Everything was excellent, food, drinks , waitress I have to say thou how impressed we were with your host. What a nice young man, very polite and well mannered. Kudos to his parents. I forgot his name, but it was around 2ish.“

“We had the rueben and some chicken wings. Both yummy. Great fries and not too many. Hot and crunchy. It was a rainy night and the AC was blowing on us. I'm guessing it's a good atmosphere for a warm summer day but for us cold, not helped by a table of heavily drinking golfers who were loud, and super crude. The hard surfaces amplified their noise. It’s the kind of meal where you talk about the taste, keep sharing bites and keep eating long past when you are satiated because it just tastes and feels so good. So many places fall down on the wine list and pairing knowledge, this is not the case at The Pheasant. Texture, taste, ingredients, presentation, wine pairings, all were spot on!
