“Best banh mi in this area, and the competition is significant! I've tried every place in the neighborhood and this is by far my favorite. Yes, the sandwiches are cold -- this is how they should be, and they're an absolute dream on a hot day. Also, super affordable. Just remember to bring cash, no cards!“

“Ordered a cake from here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing!!! Ordering was simple and communication was easy and great as well as friendly staff. The cake was so pretty that I didn’t even want to cut it! Received so many compliments from looks to taste! I had a strawberry cake with strawberry filling. Will definitely order again for future parties. Thank you guys so much for my amazing cake!!!“

“The most delicious pastries ever. If you love pistachio the way I do you will have trouble choosing and it is ALL great. But I particularly love the savories. The Palestinian bread and the flatbread with the green topping (forget what it's called) is a family favorite. We adore these; the flatbreads are a great quick lunch. But so so delicious, fresh, we are so fortunate to have you here!“

“Went today with my girlfriend, we had the most amazing baklava and Turkish coffee/matcha latte. The owner is the friendliest man you can find in Boston. Delicious coffee and pastries aside, I would visit this place simply for the hospitality; it was an outstanding experience.“

“Thanks to google maps, this sparked our curiosity. Highly recommend. Wonderful selection of fresh made breads and pastry eats. We ordered quite a bit since we wanted to try as much as we can. Our stay was short but we'll be here again if we're in Boston.“

“Weesh and owner Elyse are treasures! The tarts are a delight (brown sugar is my fave), and her cakes are seriously amazing. Best chocolate cake I've ever had. Perfect cake to frosting ratio. So beautiful (and no fondant, yay)!“

“Cute French bakery in East Somerville serving some delicious pastries and bread. About as close to a French bakery as you’ll find in Boston.
Small bakery in East Somerville, not the easiest to get to, but at least that means there won’t be a big queue!
I tried their almond croissant and their baguette. The baguette was superb: crispy, the perfect amount of chewiness, honestly I was transported back to Paris. Extremely authentic.
The almond croissant was very good (and beautiful!) One small criticism which prevents this from reaching 5 stars: I felt like the almond paste could have been more flavourful, and the croissant itself could have been slightly crispier. But still overall solid.“

“I come here once a week w/ my roommate. We are obsessed. On the edge of my seat waiting to learn about the new jam and muffin of the month. I’ve got my mom who lives out of state ordering muffins monthly. People are tired of hearing me talk about how great this place is!“

“My coworker drives from the North Shore for these croissants and I’m glad I finally tried them. I think the almond croissant and regular croissant are very good. The apple turnover was okay. I’m sure the canele is good too, but I think mine was very slightly underbaked. Will definitely come back.“

“Katie was the absolute BEST to work with for our wedding - we can't recommend her enough! She developed an assortment of mini cupcakes and macarons that perfectly matched our wedding colors, flavor preferences, and accommodated the groom's allergies. She was so organized and easy to work with and handled all of the day-of setup and breakdown flawlessly. Our desert table felt so personal and we got so many compliments from guests. We can't wait to have another excuse to work with Katie!“

“Overall great food in a nice atmosphere. Busy brunch service with single line for pastries and eat in brunch orders. Cold brew was good but loaded with ice, wife's ginger summer drink was really good with a lot less ice. Lamb hash was full of flavor, but nothing exciting for brunch level with ground meat as the hash instead of pulled or shredded. Wife's muesli was delicious with fresh fruit. Counters and tables did not seem to be cleaned between patrons and we had to skip a few seats to find one clean to eat at. The brioche toast was delicious and we wish we could have grabbed some more pastries, but it would have been another 30 minutes in line.“

“Go old school…. Get off Hanover, go up Salem, around the corner on Prince and you’ll find the real deal bakery. Incredible breads, pizza, pastries in a tiny little place that cranks out so much. No frills, just what you’d want from a real bakery.“

“What an amazing place. In these times when we are still not comfortable dining indoors this place rocks. The chef behind these dishes knows a thing or two about bringing beer garden food to a totally new level. Thank you chef and staff in front of the house.“

“Got the Melon Pan, Chocolate Croissant, Iced Matcha Latte, and Iced Latte.
The melon pan was really good and I enjoyed the sweet crust. I just wish the inside was a bit more “cloudy”/fluffy (less doughy) like traditional melon pans. The Chocolate Croissant was amazing. Really liked the chocolate filling and the flakiness of the croissant.
The matcha latte was pretty good, but a bit too sweet. The coffee in the iced latte was a bit too acidic for my taste. All their baked goods are pretty cheap tho!“

“I highly recommend this small business bakery! Miss Wanda recently made a firetruck-themed birthday cake and cupcakes for our son's 3rd birthday party and they were a hit! Plus their everyday pastries are delicious - I buy some for my coworkers all the time and they love them!“

“This tiny place packs a powerful punch with some really delicious cookies. We ordered a dozen mixed between the all year staples and the seasonal flavors and we immediately ran back in the store to get another dozen. Special shout outs to the black and gold, chocolate chip, molasses, and sugar/Funfetti cookies. If you like a warm gooey cookie and they’re not just out of the oven, all these need is 10 seconds in the microwave. Fresh and fabulous we will definitely be back!!“

“The waffle was just ok. I think the toppings and their pairing werent just to my liking. The oreos were overly sweet and the raspberries were a bit old and did not add any tartness to the dessert. The service was a little slow as there were only two people managing the whole operation and they were making everything to order.“

“By far one of the best cakes I've had.
Fresh or canned fruit are delicious options they have. It's an angel food cake with a airy light frosting not too sweet. The fruit itself is the sweetness.
They are very kind and kept my order in the fridge until my Lyft came.“

“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“I am so grateful that a place like this exists. As someone with a severe peanut allergy I can never have baked goods. I also have a severe allergy to peas and pea protein which can be a common pairing of allergies. I did find that there are vegan pastries in the same case that are made with butter that contains pea protein so I didn’t feel 100% safe eating the baked goods. If they were to be more separate or the vegan baked goods didn’t contain peas, I would be here every single weekend. The staff was SO nice and went over the top to ensure I knew ingredients. Highly recommend but with caution if you have a legume / pea allergy like me!“

“Food was good. However, I didn’t blow me away. The pupusas I was looking forward to, but mine was not cooked all the way through so it wasn’t that pleasant. I’m sure it would’ve been delicious if it had been cooked properly. Definitely do not go to dine in. There are a few Chairs next to the window and that’s it. It’s pretty much a takeout place. I would try it again, but probably not anytime soon.“
