“We just started ordering from Gold Chopsticks because my daughter recommended them. We’ve ordered delivery from them 3 times! Their food is really good compared to other Chinese restaurants. We ordered a PuPu and it was juicy and delicious. The egg rolls are larger and not dried out. The beef teriyaki was the best. The meat was thick and juicy and the sauce was not too salty or greasy. The same with the boneless pork that had no fattybits, not over cooked and not greasy. The meat was meaty and not dry. They delivered to us in Chicopee too despite the restaurant is in West Springfield.“

“I’ve been searching for some good Chinese food lately because I stopped eating it for a while. The places I’ve been to so far have been mid. What caught my attention on this place was that everyone kept saying the rice was brown & not yellow, which is my preference because that’s what I grew up on. I ordered chicken fried rice & chicken and broccoli. I did not order the wings because I saw that they just fry the wings with no flour or anything to make it crispy which is what I prefer. When I got there I ordered a small order of chicken fingers to give them a try. Some places have too much batter and they’re soggy. I’m glad I tried theirs because they were perfect! Golden & crispy! My meal was delicious! I think I might just stick with them for Chinese food!“

“Went with my daughter and we got to plates and two sodas. Paid over $50 for food that was ok but not great. The service was fast but its really more of a take out place. We dined in and it felt like we were eating in their back pantry. The table was so wobbly we decided to make a game of it to see who could eat without spilling. Would not go back again.“

“I have been patronizing New King Yen for at least twenty years, and truly enjoy their food. It has been consistently delicious, and of quality. One of my favorite dishes is the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. I also enjoy their Wonton and Egg Drop Soups, and seasonal Shrimp and Asparagus. When dining in the restaurant, the chef will accommodate preferences if able. The two young ladies who are sisters are very kind.“

They’re ALWAYS busy but manage to prepare your order in a timely manner.Personal favorite is letter M with a substitution of beef lo mein instead of vegetables. I rather take a 20 minute drive to this Chinese restaurant than a few of the local establishments.Despite the airy clear film divider, the area where they prep our food appears to be quite clean and not cluttered. “I have been eating at and ordering from Mandarin Wilbraham for 8 years. Every time, inside or at home, the food is fresh, hot and delicious! The staff is friendly and double checks for order correctness and specifics. When I call for take out they ask me if I would like my usual hot sauce. (Who would know that?) My order this evening was delivered and was not my order. They called me immediately and were back at my home in less than 10 minutes, all apologies. When my correct order came, again, piping hot, fresh and delish!! And with a smile. Accolades to your attention, excellent food and true dynamic of serving wonderful food to your neighbors! “An affordable family-run take out Chinese food.
I stopped by to pickup some Chinese food. Beef noodle for my kids and general Tsao’s combo for me.
Everything came out hot. The egg rolls took the longest. It was crunchy and I could tell it was home made.
The noodles was OK. It was a bit light on ingredients but at this price point, that’s fine.
General Tsao was interesting. Small pieces of chicken, individually thickly coated, and sauces generously. No broccoli but at this price, can’t ask for it. It had a nice crunch and flavor was good. It came in a smallish container but it was packed full of food.
They put in utensils I asked for along with sauces.
When I was there, bunch of kids were there and they were helping out. It’s nice to see family run shops. The woman taking order was super friendly and asked about my kids.
If you want an affordable and generously portioned meal, these guys are great.“

I was once quoted $1900 at another Chinese place, for catering for 50-70 people, but with Lucky Cheng we pay $300-500. So reasonable and they are so sweet. I highly recommend them!“

“Good places. Good food. No delivery. Prices are good. Decent white rice. Dumplings and sauce are great but the sauce container is laughably small. They could triple the size and it would just be enough. Decent general tsos, light not heavy so if you want some thick sauce this is not it. Beef teriyaki was lackluster.“

Id suggest grabbing a menu for discounts and perks. Hot and sour soup is always excellent.The menu prices have gone up a little (about 50¢ more per entree type item) and the hours a different now too. They are only open on Tuesdays in December. I find it better than the other Chinese restaurant Hang's in Stafford.Be aware that there is no indoor seating. There's some picnic tables in the grass but appears to be mostly take out.“

The beef lo mien was good and a large portion but a bit salty. The fried wantons were good and a large order of them. The general tso's was ok and the egg rolls had a bit of a different seasoning.

The restaurant was a bit small but clean.

All in all, I'd give it a try again and have a few different things on the menu.“
