“Absolutely delicious and excellent service. We stopped in on a trip, and the cashier at the register was very polite and quick to serve us. The woman making the sandwiches was very fast and friendly. As she was packing our sandwiches I thought to myself I wish I had asked to wrap the two halves separate to make it easier for my son and I to eat, but because I forgot to ask I didn't want to inconvenience her. “After moving to the area, Nosh Café and Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to enjoy brunch in Springfield. They offer a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan options which can sometimes be hard to find. Additionally, the atmosphere is both fun and relaxing with consistently friendly and welcoming staff. If you like to read or are looking for a new cookbook, Nosh has quite the selection of books available for purchase.

“I’ve been coming to Family Pizzeria for years, and even left them a 5-star review over 7 years ago. After a long break since 2020, I finally made it back—and I’m happy to say the place is just as great, if not better, than I remember.

The dining room is clean, cozy, and welcoming with exposed brick, friendly vibes, and plenty of seating. The staff was warm and attentive throughout our visit, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. It was great to see the same sense of family and community I remembered from before.

We started with their tortellini soup and stuffed garlic bread—fresh, hot, and comforting. For entrées, we had the spaghetti and meatballs and the lasagna. Both were flavorful, generous in portion, and served piping hot. The sauce is rich and classic, the kind that sticks with you in a good way.

Family Pizzeria still lives up to its name—great food, great service, and a place that feels like home. I came back to upgrade my review, and I’m glad I did. If you’re looking for an authentic local spot with hearty Italian comfort food, this is it.“

“First time visiting. Love the atmosphere & decor. We were seated right away for a Friday night dinner with no reservation. Service was great. Meals were fantastic! We had Chicken Parmesan and Gorganzola on Main. The portions were so large that I had two more meals of the chicken gorganzola to bring home (not a complaint). Definitely worth it! My only negative comment is that there was supposed to be spinach in that dish and if it was there, it was cut too small to find. We will go back!“

I waited until I experienced several successful visits before writing this review so I could be certain in my recommendation. I’ve now dined in a small group, a larger group, in the dining room, in the bar and as part of a civic group banquet in the back room. Each time, I have been pleased and satisfied. The food has been delicious (both regular menu and specials) and the service prompt & exceptional. I find the atmosphere warm & welcoming, reminding me of Cheers (the neighborhood place where everybody knows your name). Our dinner this past week was a positive experience in specific ways. We didn’t have a reservation and the parking lot was packed. Yet our wait was surprisingly short, and enjoyable at the bar with friendly service. Once in the dining room, our server was kind, helpful and happy…and very accommodating when a substitution was requested on an order at our table. The manager even helped serve our plates and made sure we were all enjoying our experience. Noting that the staff worked well together and were all happy…it implies that working there must be positive for them as well. The restaurant itself was also very clean and comfortable. In the past, I could not have shared these same words and had nearly given up on this local, convenient spot. So it pleases me very much to see the new management has turned it around. Having a great spot so close by is appreciated. Congrats Three Figs…your efforts are worth it!“

“As a local business owner that frequents Anthony's Restaurant, I've yet to have a less than great experience. Many locals truly appreciate the quality the owner puts into his authentic dishes. The pizza is always great, with generous toppings, the meatballs are homemade and flavorful, the sauce is also taseful and the dishes are plentiful! The owner has been in the business for decades and truly cares deeply about thir customers experiences and is very friendly. This restaurant includes a family effort, they provide a clean and positive family experience and local business love their food as well. I know personally, because I provide gift cards on behalf of business relationships in the area & their always happy with their experiences. I recommend giving them another try - to those who had unfortunate past experience, they've got a better crew than they once had. Keep in mind it's been profoundly challenging these past few years on small businesses & good help dosen't come easy.“

“I haven't been to an Olive Garden for a very long time. Food was good, but we were there for 3 hours. (6pm-9pm on a Tuesday). We were a party of 15. The kids and adults were restless waiting for their main meal. Apps, breadsticks and salads were great, but we ended up taking one meal to go as the last meal kept getting taken by other servers for other tables.“
