“Absolutely delicious and excellent service. We stopped in on a trip, and the cashier at the register was very polite and quick to serve us. The woman making the sandwiches was very fast and friendly. As she was packing our sandwiches I thought to myself I wish I had asked to wrap the two halves separate to make it easier for my son and I to eat, but because I forgot to ask I didn't want to inconvenience her. “After moving to the area, Nosh Café and Restaurant has quickly become one of my favorite places to enjoy brunch in Springfield. They offer a fantastic selection of vegetarian and vegan options which can sometimes be hard to find. Additionally, the atmosphere is both fun and relaxing with consistently friendly and welcoming staff. If you like to read or are looking for a new cookbook, Nosh has quite the selection of books available for purchase.

“I’ve been coming to Family Pizzeria for years, and even left them a 5-star review over 7 years ago. After a long break since 2020, I finally made it back—and I’m happy to say the place is just as great, if not better, than I remember.

The dining room is clean, cozy, and welcoming with exposed brick, friendly vibes, and plenty of seating. The staff was warm and attentive throughout our visit, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. It was great to see the same sense of family and community I remembered from before.

We started with their tortellini soup and stuffed garlic bread—fresh, hot, and comforting. For entrées, we had the spaghetti and meatballs and the lasagna. Both were flavorful, generous in portion, and served piping hot. The sauce is rich and classic, the kind that sticks with you in a good way.

Family Pizzeria still lives up to its name—great food, great service, and a place that feels like home. I came back to upgrade my review, and I’m glad I did. If you’re looking for an authentic local spot with hearty Italian comfort food, this is it.“

We had Chicken Parmesan and Gorganzola on Main. The portions were so large that I had two more meals of the chicken gorganzola to bring home (not a complaint). Definitely worth it! My only negative comment is that there was supposed to be spinach in that dish and if it was there, it was cut too small to find. We will go back!“

“I feel it’s important to share Three Figs is under new management and has made quite a turnaround. I waited until I experienced several successful visits before writing this review so I could be certain in my recommendation. I’ve now dined in a small group, a larger group, in the dining room, in the bar and as part of a civic group banquet in the back room. Each time, I have been pleased and satisfied. The food has been delicious (both regular menu and specials) and the service prompt & exceptional. I find the atmosphere warm & welcoming, reminding me of Cheers (the neighborhood place where everybody knows your name). Our dinner this past week was a positive experience in specific ways. We didn’t have a reservation and the parking lot was packed. Yet our wait was surprisingly short, and enjoyable at the bar with friendly service. Once in the dining room, our server was kind, helpful and happy…and very accommodating when a substitution was requested on an order at our table. The manager even helped serve our plates and made sure we were all enjoying our experience. Noting that the staff worked well together and were all happy…it implies that working there must be positive for them as well. The restaurant itself was also very clean and comfortable. In the past, I could not have shared these same words and had nearly given up on this local, convenient spot. So it pleases me very much to see the new management has turned it around. “I’ve always enjoyed Olive Garden and their All You Can Eat soup and salad. My favorite used to be the chicken gnocchi soup. I took a star off my most recent experience because they have begun watering down the liquid base and they’re skimping on the chicken pieces. It was still tasty but seemed as though the restaurant was cutting a few corners to meet the budget.“

​What really made the experience stand out was the exceptional hospitality on the floor. Anna stopped by my table, checked in on me, and we had a wonderful, friendly conversation—she truly embodies what great service looks like! To top it all off, they were handing out samples of the Strawberry Hibiscus tea and even came by later to offer mints.
