“We stopped by The Pie Bar after checking their website and seeing that one of the pies of the day was Key lime, one of our absolute favorites. It was perfection! Silky smooth, with the perfect amount of tartness, a gorgeous crust with just a little hint of salt, and a delicate piping of whipped cream. Everything was beautifully balanced. The staff was so friendly, and the setting was absolutely adorable. We even picked up a few treats to take to a friend who was celebrating a birthday. Such a wonderful little find in Florence!“

“Hands down, Carefree Cakery make the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted! We have also ordered a couple of birthday cakes for our kiddos, and they too are spectacular. Not too heavy on frosting, and the cake is light and delicious. Our friends always comment on how delicious the cupcakes/cakes are. This week, we ordered a Wicked theme cake for our daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was so beautiful, I thought my kiddo was going to cry with joy when we picked it up!! “I went to the Williams burg General Store for the first time on Sunday. I fell in love ❤️ Its neat and clean. Every one of the employees are so very nice. If you are looking for a little something for anyone in your life you will find it here. Of course my favorite part was the bakery. The bread and Danish I purchased were fresh, soft and tasty. “I came there with my family. We ordered at the register. You have to get your table and then wait for your food and pick that up and bring it to your table. My sister ordered the pizza a white pie with onions and prosciutto . It was delicious. My sister and I shared a BLT that was loaded with bacon and a big slab a tomato. It was absolutely delicious,The bread was exceptional. My mother ordered a turkey BLT and experienced the same for her sandwich, my father ordered a turkey Reuben and enjoyed every bite. We all ordered hot coffee and enjoyed a good cup. Our family, highly recommends bread euphoria“

“Thank you for the GORGEOUS cake!! Greggory kindly didn’t laugh at me for coming in half an hour before closing last night looking for a birthday treat. I was planning to just pick up some cupcakes or whatever he had left, but he was kind enough to make me a custom cake instead! It’s lemon cake with raspberry filling, and a gorgeous buttercream frosting. Sooooo delicious! And he went out of his way to make it beautiful, and still had it for next day. I’m so delighted with it. 😀 Highly recommend his shop for all your pastry needs! Also, definitely try the Russian tea cakes!“

“The GF waffles were out of this world... soft and fluffy. I'm very sensitive to gluten cross- contamination, and it was reassuring to me that the staff person was knowledgeable and asked me if I had a gluten allergy and needed separate preparation for my order. They also are taking COVID precautions seriously. They are requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in (this is clearly posted inside and outside of restaurant), and while at my table I overheard a staff person asking an unmasked person to put on a mask. Could not have had a more enjoyable experience... sad I don't live in the area!“

It’s a step up from your standard coffee shop, offering high-quality, artisanal treats that feel entirely reasonable for the gorgeous piece of artwork you are consuming. Their cookies are phenomenal, and the croissants are perfectly flaky and plentiful.

The customer service is great: kind, gentle, and efficient. The space itself is small, cute, and very polished. While they do have a few seats, it’s best suited for a quick, delightful pop-in to grab an excellent latte and a pastry.

Beyond treating yourself, this is my absolute go-to spot in town to buy sweet gifts for others. If you are visiting a friend or want to bring someone a thoughtful, lovely treat, Tart is the perfect place to go!“
