“Ordered food late through Door dash, have never ordered from here before.... Dumplings were FULL of meat, and cooked awesome,Chicken Fingers were FULL of meat, and cooked perfect, LoMein was jammed in the dish, and it was phenomenal. “I go here at least once every two weeks. It's the only decent Chinese place in the immediate area. A couple favorites are the spicy fish fillet stews with wood ear mushrooms and bamboo, and the pan fried noodles. The staff is really nice and the restaurant is bright and welcoming.“

Food was awesome, cooked to perfection. We got beef and mix veggies with white rice. Fried rice with beef and broccoli plus egg roll. Egg drop soup and spicy sour soup and a side of Lo mein. Price was spot on for the value quantity and quality.“

“Mai Place is not a large place, but the food is very good. Every time we have eaten here we have not been rushed and the staff was very helpful in helping to choose a specialty dish. There were several takeouts while we waited for our food to come to the table and everyone looked happy to receive their food package. We definitely will be returning to enjoy the food here at Mai Place.“

“I'm honestly surprised by some of the lower reviews for this restaurant. I live in town and this is usually our go-to for Chinese food. Our go to dishes include beef and broccoli as well as shrimp and broccoli and they've always been pretty good. The serving size is good and the price is appropriate for what you get. We always do take out but so far we are pretty much always pleased.“

“This is our go to in the area. I’m not sure if there’s new management or not this last few years or so, but something happened and now the food is magical. There’s a small indoor eating area, but I’ve observed maybe a handful of folks use it in the last 5 years or so. I have seen 10 simultaneous pick up orders crowd the front desk though.“

I usually order either the Sesame Chicken Dinner Plate or the General Tso’s Chicken Dinner Plate. And I usually have fried rice with it, and I’ll also usually order an egg roll to go with it too.

The chicken is always tender and delicious. Every time, regardless of whether I order Sesame or General Tso’s, the chicken is always tender and delicious. The fried rice is very pleasant too. Their egg rolls are also delicious and flavorful. I’ve never been disappointed with their food here. They have always consistently served such wonderful food each and every time I’ve ordered from them.

“This is mainly a takeout restaurant. It does have a few tables though. My ratings are basically on the food. The staff inside were friendly. It had that real dark New England duck sauce. Egg Rolls are perfect! The Beef Teriyaki is absolutely delicious. Very tender and well marinated. Wings were well marinated and juicy. The Boneless Spareribs were tender, low fat and had a nice flavor. The Lobster Sauce was old school dark and delicious with plenty of pork, the right thickness and a nice flavoring. Pork Fried Rice was solid. Great place to grab food to go!“

“What happened? Are there new owners? This used to be the best Chinese Restaurant on par with China Temple in Brookline. The people at the front desk are very rude & not at all welcoming, & the take out food was terrible ( no inside dining during CIVID). I don’t mind paying their new higher prices, but do not cut back on the food quality. You have lost a long time customer.“

“I used to Panda Express on the west coast so gonna all the time and just moved here so tried this one
All sides I tried was really elegant and good.
I have three stars not because of the meat but mainly for the rice and noodles feels little less favorable and taste so different from west coast panda noddles and fried rice which is amazing

“I walked in, and I was greeted by 2 different people immediately. The restaurant was clean, and the gentleman who assisted me was super friendly. I had my 2 yr old granddaughter with me, and he was super nice to her as well. He greeted her with a big smile, and without asking, he gave her a wrapped candy, which I politely accepted and said thank you. I placed it in my pocket because she doesn't eat candy. Then, with a big smile, he went over to the bar, grabbed a glass of Sprite with her, and placed a straw in it for her. I was like, wow, nobody has ever greeted me like this, not even back in the day when my kids were small.
