After moving out of town we tried to find a new place but realized that the team at the mandarin cannot be duplicated !!!!! We find ourselves still making the drive ! “Ordered food late through Door dash, have never ordered from here before.... Dumplings were FULL of meat, and cooked awesome,Chicken Fingers were FULL of meat, and cooked perfect, LoMein was jammed in the dish, and it was phenomenal. “I go here at least once every two weeks. It's the only decent Chinese place in the immediate area. A couple favorites are the spicy fish fillet stews with wood ear mushrooms and bamboo, and the pan fried noodles. The staff is really nice and the restaurant is bright and welcoming.“

“Food is delicious but I would not use BeyondMenu for delivery. Driver delivered wrong order and was unable to communicate with us due to did not speak English. Long story short we ended up picking up our food after waiting about an hour and a half and restaurant did not have a driver to deliver it to us. This was not the restaurants fault and they were very apologetic but they should use another delivery service.“

“Such an amazing experience. Food was absolutely delicious, sushi to die for! If you plan on drinking get a Mai Tai, they are so good. All the staff is so happy and polite. Highly recommend this place, I came from Quincy. 45 minute ride and I will for sure be back. All around great time :)“

Food was awesome, cooked to perfection. We got beef and mix veggies with white rice. Fried rice with beef and broccoli plus egg roll. Egg drop soup and spicy sour soup and a side of Lo mein. Price was spot on for the value quantity and quality.“

“This is our go to in the area. I’m not sure if there’s new management or not this last few years or so, but something happened and now the food is magical. There’s a small indoor eating area, but I’ve observed maybe a handful of folks use it in the last 5 years or so. I have seen 10 simultaneous pick up orders crowd the front desk though.“

“I come here every couple months when visiting, and they know how to do chinese takeout right. Their crab rangoons are some of the best (even better than some of the thai restaurants I like), the chicken fingers are always crispy and hot, and the chow fun noodles are always great. “A hidden gem that opened last year and now our weekly go-to for Japanese - sashimi, sushi, ramen and poke bowls. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Anna, makes you feel so at home. The sashimi/sushi are fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. The cocktails are creative and well made - mai tais, pistachio martinis, you name it. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. Staples like beef teriyaki sticks, sichuan fried rice or tangerine beef are must haves and often added to our meals with lots of leftovers to go home with. Highly recommend Wasabi Asian Bistro&Bar to anyone looking for great Asian food.“

“Mai Place is not a large place, but the food is very good. Every time we have eaten here we have not been rushed and the staff was very helpful in helping to choose a specialty dish. There were several takeouts while we waited for our food to come to the table and everyone looked happy to receive their food package. We definitely will be returning to enjoy the food here at Mai Place.“

“I used to Panda Express on the west coast so gonna all the time and just moved here so tried this one
All sides I tried was really elegant and good.
I have three stars not because of the meat but mainly for the rice and noodles feels little less favorable and taste so different from west coast panda noddles and fried rice which is amazing

“What happened? Are there new owners? This used to be the best Chinese Restaurant on par with China Temple in Brookline. The people at the front desk are very rude & not at all welcoming, & the take out food was terrible ( no inside dining during CIVID). I don’t mind paying their new higher prices, but do not cut back on the food quality. You have lost a long time customer.“
