Took home enough for breakfast on Sunday. I was not only impressed with the QUALITY of your food...but the service and the atmosphere. I knew that when I stopped by and saw the wait that it would be good. Actually you moved your guests in and we did not even wait 15 minutes. “my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.“

“We ordered takeout and it was great! Burgers & Fries and a Chicken Ceaser Wrap. Burgers were delicious, especially the Chipotle Burger with jalapeños and spicy sauce. The Ceaser Wrap was fresh and had the right amount of chicken to lettuce, with a nice creamy dressing. Got a side of extra crispy fries and they were just right. Would definitely recommend this place and would order again when in the area. The lady who took the order was so nice and the food came fast, the price/food was right in my mind and we grabbed some iced teas. Thank you!“

“I found this lovely lady at the Hanover Farmers Market. Let me tell you…Holy moly!! I consider myself a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur and these were the best #1 cookie in my book ever!!! My 14yo also agreed and wanted to go back for more!! So soft and a perfect amount of chocolate chips in the middle but the outside wasn’t crispy but had a perfect bite to it. I will never make or buy a cookie anywhere else. They just won’t compare!“

“I had a salad, and my daughter had a burger and fries. I feel like you can't really mess up a salad, but you can mess up fries. That's what happened to my daughter's meal.

We ordered for pickup and when it was time to eat. My toddler struggled to eat the fries, they were so overcooked and hard for her to chew.

Everything else was good, though. I just assumed we caught the line cooks on a bad day. But... Who knows?“

“I have been a customer of this pizza shop for longer than I'd like to admit. However, it has been a while. Retuning here for a quick lunch one day was a great choice. The food was about as close to perfect as you could want from a pizza place. The pizza had an excellent cheese to sauce ratio and the underside was cooked crispy without being burnt. The buffalo chicken on the salad was tender and plentiful. The fries were crispy and the chocolate chip cookies was dense, soft, full of chocolate chips and big enough to share. The customer service was also great. The inside has plenty of seating and is the expected pizza shop vibe with a nice view of the cranberry bogs. I'll keep coming back, and next time I won't wait so long before I do.“

That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

“We had a small birthday party at the Brook in their private back room yesterday. I cannot say enough how great everything was! The room was perfect, the food was awesome and there was plenty for everyone to have seconds( we did the casual lunch buffet with pizzas and two kinds of sandwiches). The price was beyond reasonable! Rose our bartender went above and beyond in making sure everyone was taken care of! And she made a great Bloody Mary! I highly recommend the Brook for your next function, I know we will be back for more get togethers in that great space. 10/10 all around for everything!!“
