“I’ve been dying to get my Cuban food fix! Finally got to go for lunch, and I have got to say: The smell of fresh baked bread when you walk in is intoxicating. All of your Puerto Rican and Cuban favourites are here. I got a roast pork sandwich, but the plates going by with chuletas, mofongo, pernil, guisados, yuca, salads, were all freshly prepared. I wanted to try everything each plate looked better than the next. At the counter, pastels and empanadas and desserts were on display to further tempt you. I got a soursop shake, which was an icy drink made with soursop and condensed milk. It was deliciously frosty and sweet (and soursop is good for you too!) I ordered the lechon sandwich which was packed with perfectly roasted juicy pork and I got a side of fries (which could feed 3 people!) my friend got the burger and a mango drink with yuca fries. The burger was fresh ground and hand packed, the yuca fries were crunchy and light. We both got Cuban coffees which were delicious too. Suddenly we weren’t sitting in a cold rainy restaurant, we were basking in the sun in Calle Ocho.☺️ Oh- The service was super friendly and attentive, you can tell they take pride in the food they make, and making their guests feel like family. This is going to be my new go to. Give it a try!“

“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “My family LOVES Abbondanza! We order pizza and appetizers a few times a month and it is always delicious. As a busy Mom of 3, I love that they have a reliable delivery service with an easy online ordering system. If I know I have a busy day ahead I place the order easy in the day and it ALWAYS arrives on time hot and ready to eat. “I had a salad, and my daughter had a burger and fries. I feel like you can't really mess up a salad, but you can mess up fries. That's what happened to my daughter's meal.

We ordered for pickup and when it was time to eat. My toddler struggled to eat the fries, they were so overcooked and hard for her to chew.

“We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.“

“Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. “This has to be the South Shore's best kept secret! My wife and I were looking to grab a quick meal the other day and stopped by Cannoli's on Whitman's Pond. I've been to the restaurant several time for various functions, but never for dinner. Vinny was wonderful - just the right attention - no hovering, but there when we needed anything. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had chicken marsala. Both were incredible! Plus, it's affordable - around $65 for the two of us (including two glasses of wine!) This will definitely become one of our go to places!“
