“I will leadoff by stating that i generally shun American Chinese food. Tsangs is one of the few that i would dine at. The food tastes fresh. The service is crisp. My son and wife enjoy the sushi. My only complaint is that the beer menu is mediocre.“

“One of the only places near Boston that serve authentic FJ (Fuzhounese) food. Service is slow as there’s one boss lady doing everything from cooking to cleaning so don’t come in expecting too much and be patient. My favorites here are the peanut noodles (ban mian), stir fry rice cakes (nian gao), and the wonton soup (bian rou). CASH ONLY so bring change.

They were very accommodating and patient with my nana in a wheelchair ♿️ (Even when we came through the wrong entrance for that, when the rear has handicap access and parking). Also with my child that got impatient towards the end. They even helped with having my grandmother navigate through the back entrance once we were done with our meal. Big kudos!!“

I was definitely expecting less ten minutes prior to closing! The rice had a little of everything and was so good! The pork pieces weren’t all fatty trimmings like most places. This was actual chunks of pork with very little to no fat. Little shrimps and chicken…so so good. I couldn’t stop eating it. The ribs were cooked to perfection, meaty, and so tasty I was licking my fingers and the bones haha! Best ribs I’ve had anywhere! The price was good too! I will definitely be back!“

The fried food was NOT dripping with greese like some other places. The food was delicious and not over salted like some other places. I noticed they had some bad reviews and I had to come tell you to ignore them. One 3 star was from some crazy lady mad because they forgot to put spicy mustard in the bag. “A small fresh authentic rice roll restaurant making Chinese rice noodle rolls. You can see them making the batter for the rice noodles. That’s how fresh it is. They have shareable congee, soup dumplings and rice roll dishes. They have a kiosk at the door to order your food and they bring it out to you. Not much service to comment on but they are nice and the food is good.“

The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious — from the flavorful hot and sour soup to the tender beef and mushroom, perfectly fried fish, and the incredibly tasty General Chicken. Five of us arrived from out of town and walked in to see the four person table occupied and one person at one of the two person tables (yep, three tables total). The proprietor moved the two folks at the four person table to the two person table (they were regulars and happy to move) and grabbed the spare chair and suddenly the place was at full occupancy!

The menu is expansive and required a bit of explanation for our group to pick a meal, but absolutely everything was great. The winners were a dish consisting of well fried chicken and noodles and the orange chicken (my choice). Everyone at the table said the chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavor and spice were just right. The portions were generous, but alas I had no leftovers to take home.

It seemed like 50 takeout orders went out while we were there. Obviously the locals love the food.“

The decor is well done and the music is played at a nice level to add to the ambiance and not be too loud for conversation. “South Garden is a Chinese restaurant located right outside the heart of Quincy Center serving traditional South Chinese and Cantonese dishes for lunch and dinner.

The staff are friendly, definitely helps to know Cantonese but they can communicate well in English as well.

As for the food, its alright. The quality is pretty much the same as other restaurants, though the beef satay chow fun wasn't as good as other places i've tried. Very good spot to get traditional Cantonese dishes like fried squid or fried porkchops for a reasonable price and reasonable quality.“
