“Breakfast sandwiches are okay. Bacon is thicker and chewy- not crispy. Bread is toasted well. I did ask for my sandwich well-done, and it was just toasted okay. I would imagine they’re not usually toasted well. The best part about the “crack” sandwich was all of the gooey cheese. It saved the whole meal. Who can go wrong with a grilled cheese? Egg was fried perfectly, and just a bit runny. Wish the bacon was better and the sandwich had a little seasoning. It was very plain. The cheese made it, really. But like I said, they really couldn’t go wrong with all of the cheese they put in there.“

“The type of breakfast sandwich that really gets me out of bed on a weekend. Would love for them to open a location in back bay (please) but I'm willing to traverse multiple blocks for this. It can get super busy but I ordered online ahead of time. No seating but could easily sit on a stoop or the curb or a bench nearby because it's in a cute neighborhood too. “One of the best places to get a sandwich. The ruby melt was so good! Also, the English muffins are amazing here. They are made with fresh olive oil. Lastly, the staff are very nice and polite. In particular Johnathan made me feel welcome. Insisting on selling (!) but I like good salesperson!“

“I expected more than corned beef out of a can from the description on the menu. The home fries were cold. Good sized portions and the service was adequate. We chose another breakfast place for the next day. Great location, though, in a walkable neighborhood .“

Best grits with cheese and the sweetest southern ice tea available in the state..lol...the only downside is that it's located in a rough neighborhood that doesn't ever seem to improve but who cares when you're getting good food. You can dine in or get your food to go. Either way, it's all about the food and it's good. Their service is good for they are always busy zipping around taking orders and preparing orders. It's an outdated spot but like I said who cares, it's all about the food and it's good to go!!. Everyone go get some grits!!!“

“Jimmy’s is an amazing find. From the moment you walk in you’re warmly welcomed wether your the only customer or walking in with every seat filled. The energy is buzzing with friendly conversation as you can tell there are always returning customers and you feel right at home. Prices are beyond fair especially given the quality; coffees always bold and fresh. Home fries are by far the best in middelsex county. Everything from the hash to the pancakes is always great and has the made from scratch taste. The best part of Jimmys is the family who owns it, Rita is one of a kind and you can’t replicate this place or it’s atmosphere anywhere else. I recommend to give Jimmys a try if you haven’t yet, you will be back for more!“

“Small neighborhood greasy spoon diner with generous portions and an excellent breakfast menu. Numerous daily specials including omelets, stuffed French toast and benedicts. I had the William Wallace omelet with fresh apples inside for a sweet savory and my girlfriend had one with avocado, broccoli and spinach. Service was polite and self service coffee was available. Not necessarily a destination for brunch but a nice place if you live in the neighborhood.“
