“Absolutely delicious and excellent service. We stopped in on a trip, and the cashier at the register was very polite and quick to serve us. The woman making the sandwiches was very fast and friendly. As she was packing our sandwiches I thought to myself I wish I had asked to wrap the two halves separate to make it easier for my son and I to eat, but because I forgot to ask I didn't want to inconvenience her. Well she read my mind. Not only did she wrap the halves separately, she also wrote which half had mushrooms on it! Superior service and I highly recommend it on your next trip!!“

“I love D'angelo's but my first worst grinder I have had was tonight they didn't toast my bread and no mayo and green peppers I asked for it .iit is on my receipt I only got my onions and very little meat I was surprised.“

“Exactly what you want in a little sandwich shop, good food, soup, and a grumpy old man behind the counter. Is he a little abrupt? Sure, but maybe you would be too if you spent the last 40 years telling people to order at the other counter under the two very obvious signs I somehow missed. The shop is definitely a throwback and feels very nostalgic. We will be back again for sure. Oh its cashier only so don't forget to bring some or hit the atm.“

“I wanted a steak and cheese and they were out of steak at 1:10PM, this was upsetting, I settled on a turkey and cheese sandwich and customized it how I wanted, this was nice, but for over $13 it was a very basic sandwich. Overall good experience, they have a self service kiosk which I like because you can customize everything and decide what you want in real time. If you are flying out of BDL there really aren’t many options for food, so it’s good this is at least decent!“

“I was craving some subway and this was the third location I went to and finally got what I wanted. The employee that served me was so nice and welcoming. “This subway is worth going out of your way to compared to others nearby. There is a VERY sweet and kind woman who works there who very clearly cares about her customers. She has baked me fresh cookies when there was none readily available. As well as when she makes my subs, they're always carefully packed, and look picturesque. She was even thoughtful enough to remind me that the cheese for my pretzel didn't come hot and advised me to microwave it in a separate container---so thoughtful and sweet!! 10/10!!!!“

Parking: It's in a gas station so there's parking, it just depends on the time of day. It is a prime spot for the mini school busses so you'll always see them during school hours. Just be prepared to park weird or wait for some of them to leave.“

They are also open late which is super convenient because I have had at least 3 incidents at the Subway on Sumner Ave in Forest Park, Springfield; Where I get there 5-6min before they are supposed to close and yet their door is already locked and the employee won't even look up... Smh so not only is it already locked up but the sign in the window still says open and right there printed on the glass door are the hours of operation but the person inside won't even look up and indicate that they are closed because they know they are wrong for doing that to people! This happens alot at this location it's so unprofessional. I'm all set with them I won't return...“
