“This place is awesome! Everyone is really friendly. Very patient and helpful with picking the right drink for you. And the drinks are amazing! My son loves the Oreo crumble. I like the lychee when I want sweet and just got the Oolong one that is recommended on here. I love it! We also got some spring rolls that are excellent. I’m so happy to have found this place!“

“Cute Asian drink/banh mi/grocery store right on the edge of downtown Salem. The vegetables seemed fresh, and though items were a little expensive it's reasonable tradeoff for convenience. There's a good mix of novelty items (rare flavors) and basics. Of interest is the variety of ice cream flavors, pickled vegetables, herbs including fresh Thai basil and lemon grass, and stuffed plushies. We enjoyed the banh mi which was flavorful and on a delicious crusty baguette - wish there was slightly more meat!“

“Super Emoji is a Boba shop located in the heart of Newbury Street, located in a little area that is populated by other boba shops. Super Emoji stands out from the rest by selling meals and other snacks, such as Xiao Long Bao, Shaved Ice, and other desserts.

The service is fast and quick, though it did take some time to make the shaved ice. There is a kiosk for self ordering, but the one we picked was out of order with no indication that it wasn't working. The atmosphere is alright, it was a hot day but it wasn't too warm inside.

We got the grapefruit slush, lemon iced tea, and a chocolate shaved ice. The teas were alright, pretty standard when compared to other locations. The chocolate shaved ice was ok sized for the price, which could only be found by going online to look at their ChowBus menu, or through the rotating screens up behind the counter. The chocolate shaved ice was light and melted in the mouth quickly, while the additional toppings were good.

Overall it was a decent experience, but they need to print updated menus for their new food offerings, as it only lists drinks.“

“Excellent customer service!!!! My parents always said if hubby and I ever go broke, it’s due to our addiction to bubble tea and eating out. Hubby went by out of curiosity once, and couldn’t stop raving about how good it’s. He said this red dragon fruit tea is the best he ever had in his life and we are approaching our 40s. We came in the snow today all the way from Braintree. We normally hit up Vivi and PTea in Quincy but I felt the need to come and try this. Hubby ordered me a jasmine cheese foam tea 50 percent sugar, but somehow it came super bitter. We brought it back and asked to put more sugar in. They immediately made me another one with 100 sugar, and asked me to try it and let them know. They can make it for me again or I can order something else. The customer service was EXCELLENT! We go to PTea a lot for their jasmine tea and my husband always said why the cashier looks like we owed them money. We will definitely be back to Cha Kung Fong, for their customer service and great price. What a hidden gem! Price is great too!“

Tried this bubble tea spot on Newbury Street, and it did not disappoint! The place itself is small but super cute, perfect for a quick stop while strolling around. One thing to note—they open at 11 AM, but when we went right at opening, the store wasn’t quite ready until 11:30 AM. So, if you’re planning to go early, maybe give it a little extra time to get the boba toppings to get ready.

We ordered a tea without the boba toppings, and honestly, it was amazing on its own! The flavors were perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and super refreshing. If you’re a bubble tea lover (or even if you’re not), definitely worth checking out. Will be back for sure!“

“Nice bubble tea place! This one is a chain. One thing that I really like about it is that they partner with mochi nut and zz desserts and the hot dog place so there are quite a few food options. Supposedly they make their own boba here! They do have three options, two were available when we went. The brown sugar boba and their white boba. We got two drinks.

I ordered the brewed oolong peach tea with white boba. I asked them if it was sweet and they said yes. Honestly this drink was not my favorite, it was just a little lacking in sweetness. The oolong flavor was good, but the boba was fully tasteless although the texture was fantastic.

My partner ordered the passion fruit green tea with brown sugar boba and it was absolutely delicious.

I would say if you're going to go with the brewed tea options Just be aware I think it's not super sweet, and if you get the white boba instead of the brown sugar boba is also not very sweet or flavorful so heads up!“

I was shopping at Northshore Mall, as I was in the area and feeling a little parched, I found this gem of a store! I’m a little familiar with Boba but the two workers on site were very quick to help me and very hospitable and finding me something great to try. I had to get their names and write a review because I believe this is one of my new go-to stores in the area and I would highly recommend it after the great costumer service showed. If it's empty, you can really go through the menu and choose what you want. I love that they use real taro and not the powder purple taro so that in itself talks about quality.“

The drinks can be hit or miss depending on your tastes. I really enjoy the Matcha Tornado, which usually has a slushy feeling that goes well with the oreo crumbs inside the drink. I've also tried the thai tea version, which I enjoy but feel is a bit too sweet for my liking.

Atmosphere is ok, it can get a bit crowded and humid inside the place so it may feel a bit unpleasant, but overall it is ok.
