“This place is simple. It sells boba, and it sells waffles. I’ve tried the waffles, next time boba! But I did really love the variety it had with waffles. Lots of fun flavors like strawberry cheesecake and apple pie (which I got). I also loved how all the employees handled the waffles with care. The place was pretty busy on a Saturday evening with not a ton of space. I got my waffle in about 10 minutes and ate it on the walk to the theater. The apple pie waffle was good. The waffle itself was hot and yummy. It wasn’t a Belgian waffle, but it wasn’t a normal waffle either. The batter must have something in it to make it taste a bit different. It was pretty fluffy and held up the toppings quite well. The cinnamon apple chunks were lightly warmed and gently sweet. The “crust” was Biscoff cookies. I think a Graham cracker crumble would have been better because the Biscoff was too sweet compared to the apples and waffle.I’ll definite come again!“

“Bryan and Michele frequent tapiocatea every chance we get. Michele loves the Strawberry Cheesecake tea and of course the Teriyaki Beef Banh Mi sandwich. Bryan's go to is the Birria Banh Mi sandwich and his choice of drink is the Matcha Lavender Milk Tea. This place gets a 5 out of 5 on everything. This is a must try!!!! Both sandwiches are pictured below as well as a bubble waffle and crepe.“

“Went for my first time the other night. My friend and I Had the spiked mango lassi with boba, hibiscus House soda, red oil dumplings, pork belly buns, and not pictured were two bowls of pho. Overall loved the experience. Server was new but did a great job. Service was quick and timely. They kept our water cups topped off the whole time which was appreciated. I want to try the ramen next so I'll add the fifth star when I come back again!“

“One of my new go-to spots for Asian-inspired healthy bowls.I first found out about Lotus Test Kitchen last year while looking for a lunch spot in Downtown. Since then, I’ve been getting bowls from here at least once a month. They seamlessly meld Asian flavors into healthy bowls without a lot of compromises. My favorite bowl is their signature Braised Pork Belly Bowl, which features three substantial chunks of tender pork belly. It also comes with cabbage slaw, and pickled daikons and carrots that helps tone down the greasiness with their tangy, refreshing crunch. And then there's the Spicy Gochujang sauce, an optional but highly recommended addition that weaves sweetness and a subtle kick to the bowl. While certain dishes, like the Thai Curry Chicken and the Spicy BBQ Korean Pork Belly bowl, occasionally come with meat that errs on the drier side, their sauce and pickled vegetable toppings help elevate the central ingredients.Overall, a great lunch spot that offers a quick, filling, and delicious bowls. If you’re looking for something healthy outside of your usual salad bowls, I highly recommend giving them a try.“

“this place was absolutely amazing!!! the food was life changing! i got lemon grass beef pho, Bánh Giò, tiramisu, and cucumber mint lemonade, and everything was so good! Both of the ladies were so sweet, and the food was a steal based on what you get for what you pay! Definitely worth driving up to Boston for“

“Generally I don't care for boba tea.But was craving some brown sugar boba tea. And some of my other usual spots were either too busy or too hard.I liked the fact I could choose the sweetness level which was nice. Did a 30% sugar tea, and got a egg waffle (also recommended)Tasted good, drank the whole tea, and the ice cream was good too. Venue was cute, but nothing mind blowing. The girl who worked the counter was effective. Not a bad spot for a quick fix.“

“Loved this cute little cafe! They serve hot drinks, bubble tea, and desserts. Thai iced tea with brown sugar pearls was delicious! We also had the mango eclair and tiramisu, which were just the right size and sweetness. Decor and atmosphere were beautiful and classy. Window bar seating and some small tables as well. Staff were very friendly and completed our orders pretty quickly.“
“Cute Asian drink/banh mi/grocery store right on the edge of downtown Salem. The vegetables seemed fresh, and though items were a little expensive it's reasonable tradeoff for convenience. There's a good mix of novelty items (rare flavors) and basics. Of interest is the variety of ice cream flavors, pickled vegetables, herbs including fresh Thai basil and lemon grass, and stuffed plushies. We enjoyed the banh mi which was flavorful and on a delicious crusty baguette - wish there was slightly more meat!“

“Wow, I can't think of the last time I went to somewhere so unassuming and yet so good. Quick food. Cheap. Fun inside. For parking, there's no lot but plenty on the street. We're going to make this place a regular visit. Ate and drank everything too quick to get any pictures since it was so good. Here was our order: watermelon slush with passion fruit boba, Blue Hour (Large tart and sweet blue raspberry lychee lemonade slushy), fries with spicy mayo, Spicy Salmon Onigirazu (Smoked salmon wrapped in seaweed seasoned rice and topped with spicy mayo), Korean Corn Dog (Deep fried battered hot dog and mozzarella stick lightly coated in sugar), Firecracker Shrimp Onigirazu (A hybrid seasoned rice ball sandwich served with two pieces of shrimp tempura and spicy mayo wrapped in seaweed), and Mera Mera Fries (Crispy fries topped with a homemade spicy mayo sauce and seasoning).“

“If you're looking for a cute little spot to sit down and relax with a cup of milk tea, look no further! The interior of this little Newbury St. brownstone looks almost like a coffee shop, with some cute decor and a few tables and chairs for hanging out in. The prices here aren't too bad compared to other nearby spots - most milk teas here are around $5 (not including boba). I ordered their taro milk tea with boba here, which was delicious and exactly what I'm looking for in a drink. It had the perfect amount of sweetness (after I asked them for 50% sweetness) and not an overwhelming amount of ice. I really enjoy my experience every time I visit Mr. Tea and will definitely be back!“

“I ordered through delivery and I'm so impressed with the packaging. The delivery driver rode on a bike and the drinks was on its side. However, no leakage or dripping. I even spilled it myself on the way to my room, but no leakage or dripping. Packing well thought out. Boba drink good too!“

“Great drinks, oreo slushy was a bit watered down but otherwise really good. Sad that there wasn't anymore gingerbread men left but I guess it's not their fault there's a limited stock. Would recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs to enter store, not suitable for wheelchair users and people with strollers.“

“A decent refreshing stopover for boba drinks and light snacks.Amidst numerous boba options in Chinatown, Pin Ming might not top the charts. Nevertheless, I came here a couple times to try their drinks and food. Their regular boba toppings were mediocre as it lacked chewiness. On the other hand, the strawberry pearls stood out – these little sphere added an unexpected fruity sweetness that elevated some of their drinks.I also got to try some of their food, Popcorn Chicken and Fried Shrimp. Over-seasoned and quite salty, Popcorn chicken was a bit of a letdown. But the shrimp was a surprisingly good deal. Its batter was basic but perfectly crispy, and the shrimp was moist and creamy. In Chinatown’s boba scene, Pin Ming might be at the lower end of the spectrum, but if you’re in a mood for some good snacks and decent drinks, Ping Ming might be a good choice.“

“If all you want is fantastic boba tea with friendly service, this is the place for you. Their menu is extensive, the customizable options are plenty, and prices are good. And the make or break factor with any boba shop is the freshness of the boba. Even though only minutes from closing time, the boba was still perfect! Though not much seating, and sparsely decorated, you will forget that as you play Uno, chess and other games lying around, be filled with joy at the ear-to-ear smiles and contagious laughter coming from the owner, and the incredible taste of their teas and smoothies. Highly recommended!Dietary restrictions: The smoothies are non-dairy, so perfect for my son with a milk allergy.“

“Fantastic fried chicken at an affordable price. Casual and quick. Perfect for lunch or takeout. I’ve been looking for a fried chicken spot that knows how to make a crispy wing ever since another one of my Chinatown favorites closes down. This place is fantastic. While the “spicy” fried chicken is not particularly spicy, it has a pleasant flavor. They also aren’t cheap on serving sizes. These are true full chicken wings, not cut in half. The serving of 8 wings is definitely enough for one adult. If you order to-go, the take out bags are surprisingly high-quality as well. They will not rip, and certainly warrant a re-use. Service is friendly and I have nothing bad to say about this place.Photos represent food after I had already eaten some, so serving size is slightly larger than what you see.“

“Very quick service, super tasty drinks, and right by the Witch Trials Memorial! I had been craving boba tea for a while, and when I saw that place, I decided to just go for it and try it, and honestly, I wasn’t disappointed! It was just extremely quiet in the store, and even though it’s a large open area, there wasn’t much place to sit and rest.“

“Moge Tee is great. The space is chic and fun. Ordering is simple via the kiosks, you can really customize your order exactly the way you like it without experiencing the intimidation that sometimes comes with ordering bubble tea. They have a wide range of options, including unique offerings you don't see often in other bubble tea shops. I wish there were a handy way to easily tell the difference between the various toppings and additives, but the staff was helpful in answering questions. The tea itself was well made, delicious and refreshing. I'll definitely be adding Moge Tee as a drink stop when I'm in Market Street!“
“Ok, this is technically in a Chinatown basement like location (i wouldn't exactly stay here to drink my order)...but the bubble tea here is amazing and unparalleled, especially the ice cream and tea mixtures (my fave is the regular milk tea mixed with green tea matcha ice cream). I can't go to another bubble tea place and not think of how subpar the drinks are compared to here lol. FAVEEEEEEE.“

“Quick service, delicious drinks, paired with a cute market. I got the peach oolong TJ and my wife had the Four Seasons milk tea. Both were very good and I enjoyed the crystal boba and tea jelly toppings. Would recommend, even though there are a few stairs to walk up which is not stroller friendly.“

“Very nicely deep brewed tea!! I ordered a rose milk tea with brown sugar boba and it was sooo delicious. The tea flavor was very strong which I love. Most places taste so milky/watery. They also sell jelly which is very delicious. I got mine topped with boba. Staff was very nice and attentive.“

“Amazing boba and fruit tea! This tea shop has an amazing variety, with each drink fresh and delicious. Their service was welcoming, really nice, and helpful if you aren't sure what to get. I also like their cozy and modern ambiance! I love getting their mango pomelo sago, their watermelon coconut, or their Earl Grey latte with boba. Overall, my favorite boba shop and I highly recommend it!“

“I love the ambiance and layout of the store. Upon entering, I was impressed by its cleanliness and the inviting music playing in the background. Using the kiosk to place my order was a breeze; it was both effortless and enjoyable to select my drink preferences. The service was exceptionally swift, and the staff members were incredibly friendly. Moreover, the drink I received tasted absolutely delightful. Whenever I find myself in the area, Super Emoji is undoubtedly my top choice for a refreshing beverage.“

“Happy Lemon made me very happy during my jury service. This location is in the Corner Mall food court which for me was a pro as the location was convenient. My go to order was the mango slushy with boba. My slushy was blended with lemon pulp which was tart initially but complemented the sweetness of the drink. The boba was really good majority of the time. There's only one size but it is really tall and filling. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.“

“The food here is consistently amazing, making it my go-to spot for lunch during my break. The service is prompt, and the ambiance adds to the pleasant experience. However, it's worth noting that it's not conducive to sit-down dining as there are no tables inside. It's more of a grab-and-go setup, but there are plenty of nearby spots or office spaces to enjoy your meal if you're in the Chinatown area! I recommend getting their chicken sandwich it's amazing!“

“i'm taiwanese and have always loved getting boba so I have pretty high expectations! still, the mango slush did not disappoint. you can't add brown sugar boba to some of the drinks so I opted for the "blue pearls" (seem to taste the same but maybe more firm? or less sweet) which you can add for an extra dollar. there were good chunks of mango and a good ratio of boba to the drink! (see picture for size difference) will definitely revisit if i'm in the area but kinda pricey (paid 8 for large) as a student so i wish there was a student discount.“

“They were severely understaffed on a saturday night. There was only two people working behind the counter. The line was so long and super unorganized. They need a better shop design, you should not have the cashier right next to the door. I got the #8 special signature rice dessert. It was unfortunately served cold but still good“

“Kung Fu Tea is a my usual spot for reliable, good tasting milk tea. I've been to this location in Boston many times. The tea is really fragrant and the boba tastes fresh. I usually prefer less sugar and less ice. The customer service alright. There was only one person working when I came by. My mom loves their honey green tea. I typically get their red bean wow which uses lactaid milk, so for my lactose intolerant friends, this drink is delish!“

“I got the baby peach smoothie drink with crystal boba. I thought the sugar level was pretty good, if not a little high. I was a little taken aback by the price, the drink with crystal boba cost $9 total. They were also sold out of almost every croissant and every box cake when I went. However, in their defense, the peach taste of the drink was very fresh and not overpowering. But with all the other boba shops in the area, zero& definitely stands out as having very unique flavors. I hope to try their cakes and croissants next time!“

“Wow, that was my first time trying one of those drinks. My wife from China was already aware of these. She got something warm with these little black dots floating and sitting at the bottom of the drink. I went for like a cold strawberry one , with gray dots. “I skipped this place when we walked by at first. It looks a bit dirty in the front entrance. But the next day, we came back to try as it is close by my parent's house & my legs weren't so happy with us walking so much the previous day. The milk tea shop is way bigger than I thought, lots of seating. We ordered Oreo wow & Cocoa cream wow milk tea with boba. Definitely in my list for coming back next time.“

“Bubble teas, teas, milky teas, shakes, smooties, wide variety of flavors, toppings, adds & bubbles.Price is okA little watery, in my opinion. I am tried several of them and always finished thinking that they have good taste but are a little watery. “Bubble teas are delicious. Even with all bubble tea options in Malden, they all seem to vary just enough to make themselves stand out. They have some food options as well, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. Also, self-service kiosk available for the introverts, yay!“
“Food: I got the taro milk tea, and my friends got the grapefruit & peach green tea with jelly. The size and price is on par with other boba places in Boston. I really liked the taro chunks in my drink and would get this again.Service: There is a self-service kiosk machine for ordering. “This oriental vegetarian spot offers a wide range of dishes on their menu, all nicely presented and tasty. Just a heads-up, despite any mention of meat, it's all veggie here. Prices are competitive and the servings here are generous. Lo Mein is a must-try. They take credit cards too.The downside? It can get crowded, and the water glasses might need a bit more cleaning. Keep in mind, it's upstairs if stairs are an issue.“
