“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.“

Likely not other than the first bite blows your mind. Quality over everything else. Great spot, will be back tonight and tomorrow night looking for Sturgill Simpson fans.“

The reservation process was a little clunky via OpenTable. I called to reserve first and then was told a confirmation email would be headed my way from OpenTable. I checked my inbox (spam and junk included), but never received anything—except an email from OT asking if I wanted to cancel because I hadn't confirmed. It's a glitch, but one that could've pushed us to find another reservation elsewhere. Something to look out for. Great experience overall.“

“Everybody needs to have a great dive bar. THIS IS IT! Long bar with comfy stools. Lots of seating and standing room along the other side of the room. Limited (but too limited) selection of beers and alcohol which makes it easy to pick one without taking too much time. Bar staff have been around and seen some shit and they aren't going to put up with you're bullshit. They are very nice and super efficient, but they have people to serve. The prices are GREAT, incredible for downtown Boston. I love everything about this place.“

Compared to some places going at 16 to 18
This place is going at 22. All before tax and tips.
Now what makes this place special.
The effort. Most drinks are nicely presented and decorated. The drinks are not the highest in ABV but not low as well. Average of the 4 drinks I had, will put them around 18% to 20%.

The ambience is amazing. Truly a realm of dark arts.
The problem is, they have a small space and you might and will wait for a seat.
And is worth it.
I waited for 30mins. No regrets.“

I was a little nervous because Mia had not been there for months and I wanted to make sure she was comfortable. As soon as we came inside she saw Brandon. He was so happy to see her and she was so happy to see him. It was very nice. Brandon is a really nice guy and is great with all the dogs and people but him and Mia get along so well and he is so great with her. Just wanted to let you know Brandon is great at his job.“

“I had my Daughter’s bridal shower at the Long Cross. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The venue provided linens and flowers for the tables. We had complete use of the back part of the restaurant and patio. They allowed us to set up a balloon arch and backdrop for pictures, and several tables for displays and games. The food was great and the price was reasonable. I would recommend having your party or shower there.“

So I called and talked with Sean and Caleb asking is it was at all possible to reserve a few tables in the bar so we could hang out together and celebrate.
